    Yes its possible to reset without entering the Menu Options on your phone:

    1. you must have BlackBerry Desktop Manager on your PC.

    2. connect the phone with open Desktop Manager.

    3. go to the Applications tab

    4 locate the rogue app/theme, kill it and your phone should come back with the default theme.

    5. If you can not find via Desktop Manager then try to do a full backup.

    6 restore the phone to factory settings, restore data selectively.

    Hope this works for you, if it's not then you need to use BBSAK to wipe the phone or try to remove the new theme.

    I tried to find an answer to this problem on the rest of the site, but all I can find are for people receiving two copies of the same message - I've received duplicate emails a minute 20 and I have no idea why.  The phone was fine until yesterday afternoon, and then began receiving duplicates.  At the beginning it was just a little, now it sends a new double about every minute for every e-mail I've received since its start to duplicate.  Last time I looked there were about 200 messages duplicated in my Inbox, and I dared not look at it from.  Therefore, messages from facebook that makes me think that it must be something to do with the phone itself.  All emails claim to be received using my gmail address, but gmail itself received a copy of each.  I have not changed the settings on my email or on my Blackberry.

    Please, if anyone has an idea how to make this stop, help me - my phone is now useless because it is so concerned with the reception of emails that all other features are slow and jerky, and I can't put the most because it's like having a fire alarm in my handbag.

    If the battery discharged spontaneously, that would actually cause for alarm. If your symptoms match something, then likely recommendation is to reload for a while (at least 2 hours, IMO) and then see if your BB is back to normal. If the behavior persists, consult a warranty evaluation.

    The fundamental problem is Blackbery Desktop Software for Mac, it is not 100% compatible with blackberry support cause can never fix my bb.

    Solution for me:

    1 - install windows with bootcamp (not VM, a lot of problems with the USB ports)

    2 - Download Device Software for 9860 and BDS... obiusly for victory.

    3. connect the devices "WITH BATTERY", very important.

    4 - click on "Update".

    5 take a chance for the BB server answer... and give you good news about your software.

    6. install and all you want to do for the recovery of your bb.

    Please, RIM, GIVE the SUPPORT of United States FOR THE MAC USERS... SUPPORT REAL.

    Given what you describe, I would consider all of your data compromised. File a police report immediately. Change all passwords on all email accounts that you had configured on that BB. Change the password associated with bis. Contact your provider and have now disabled missing SIM - and get a new one. Notify all your contacts that this person may now have information that you had them stored in your BB.

    As to how it happened... the best guess is that the person he took locked automatic front and therefore had full access. The second proposal is that somehow the person knows the password that you have assigned to the BB. For the prevention of future manually lock it whenever it leaves your hands and use a stronger password, allowing to see you never enter it.
