• BlackBerry Smartphones PocketMac does not

  Any ideas on that?

  I use a Macbook OS X 10.5.5 and I am trying to sync my BlackBerry Pearl 8120 with her.

  I installed PocketMac, the installation went through fine, but when I try to open her bouncing just icon goes up and down on my dock for awhile and then cannot answer is no not open, application.

  I installed the driver update that is no RIM (despite my Macbook is not not an and despite my 8120 last aluminium being don't a Bold/Storm) and this has no effect, a bit of a rebound and nothing.

  Does anyone have any suggestions how I can get this to work?

  I also had the same problem, here's what I did to remedy.

  You will need to disable the function 'Bluetooth-PDA-Sync '. Similar to when you connect your Blackberry using Bluetooth, it activates this feature.

  Open Bluetooth preferences...

  Select your Smartphone, and then click Advanced...

  Under ' serial ports that use devices to connect to this computer:

  Clear the check box under the column 'On' for 'Bluetooth-PDA-Sync '.

  Click OK and try to run "PocketMac for BlackBerry" once again...

  Hope that works for you, it worked for me.

  In addition, you may also need to disable for other devices if it exists.

  I have a Macbook Pro 2.4 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo OSX version 10.5.6 and tried several times to install Pocketmac for Blackberry 4.1.25.  I use it with a Blackberry 8830 running 4.2 verion. I continue to get this error message.

  I installed the update of the Driver 3.1.3B and always get the same message, check time zones to make sure they are the same on the mac, entourage and blackberry.

  Problem solved.  I never started after the start of iTunes and iTunes and connect my Blackberry, Pocketmac started and ran without any problems.

  I sync my blackberry 8830 (verizon) every morning with my macbook pro, and the three things I need to sync are my contacts, calendar and tasks. The contacts and calendar sync very well, but when tasks attempt to synchronize, the bar stops moving and progression program is not able to sync my tasks. Does anyone know how to make sure my tasks synchronize as well? Or is it a lost cause in regards to getting my task lists to sync?

  OK, we can have a partial solution to the synchronization problem, 1 some environments. I use Mac OS X 10.5.5 and PocketMac SyncManager 1.2 (1.4).  Download the manual for PocketMac Blackberry 4.1, as well as the latest version of PocketMac software from Blackberry website.  Remove the old, install again and proceed to the next section of the Manual:

  8.3.9 cleaning and Maintenance utilities

  Can be found in your home folder (the folder with all the cleaning and maintenance utility data

  your name in the users folder), under ~/Library/Application Support/PocketMac

  SyncManager/additional tools /.

  I see from the description of the problem, you want to establish a connection to homegroup between Windows 7 devices and iphone or Android.

  Is the CD you have an XP bootable installation CD authentic or some kind of restore CD provided with your system (they are not the same thing).  If it's a CD of Windows, this Service Pack is on the CD?

  Describe your current antivirus and software anti malware situation: McAfee, Symantec, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Panda, Trend Micro, CA, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc..

  If the system works, what do you think might have changed since the last time it did not work properly?

  What is your Service Pack installed?  If you are not sure, do the following:

  Click Start, run and enter in the box:

  Msinfo32

  Click on OK and when the system info summary appears, click on Edition, select all, copy, and then paste the results here.

  There will be some personal information (such as the user name and the name of the system), and what appears to be personal information for you, simply delete the personal information of the pasted information.

  When you see a message like this:

  Windows file protection

  I hope that you are curious to know what is the file and when you know that, you can decide what to do about it.

  You must click Cancel, and then click Yes to keep the file, then you will have an event to watch which will tell you what the problem is the file.

  Search where you sign in to see what is the name of file system Viewer, then decide what to do.

  The event will look something like in this example:

  Event type: Information
  Event source: Windows File Protection
  Event category: no
  Event ID: 64005
  Date: 10/01/2011
  Time: 14:41:56
  Description:
  The protected system file taskmgr.exe had not been restored in its original, valid version because the Windows File Protection restoration process was cancelled by user interaction, user name is Jose.  The file version of the bad file is unknown.

  A shortcut to the event viewer is to click on start, run and enter in the box:

  Click OK to launch the event viewer.

  Check your event observer system log and look for a proposed Windows file protection event.

  If you double-click on an event, it will open a window of properties with more information.  On the right are black up and down arrow keys to scroll through the open events. The third button that looks like two overlapping pages is used to copy the details of the event in your Windows Clipboard.

  When you find an interesting event that occurred at the time of your question, click on the third button at the top and arrows to copy the details and then you can paste the details (right click, paste or CTRL-V) the text in detail here for analysis.  Remove all personal information from your information after you paste If you are forced to do so.

  Thanks to all who tried to help, it means a lot!  I have no idea what happens but I tried to run a complete scan with antivirus program McAfee I was BTW it was free because of the internet service gave to me to be a customer with them, (I guess they have an ongoing case) not much of a cause I had nothing else problems with McAfee all for about 5 years and they are so much better programs out there (to new my opinion) but on with my story so whenever I tried to run a full scan or fast he rode every time error cannot start scan try again and so on, so I called them and they could not understand what the problem was and finally reinstalled but it doesn't work and of course they wanted me to buy a version... So I said forget it and went with one of the best Antivirus out there (my opinion only) programs free and it scanned and found some articles ad and he never came back! So I'm lucky so far and happy! Once again thanks to Jose @ and @ John for help and getting back to me, that shows the high level of awareness and dedication... So thank you to you two! I have no idea of what the problem was I think that he had with the Ad-ware and anti virus program does not properly and somehow obtained a "bug" If you want to. I was wondering something quick you guys like Avast Internet security because I've had some people said he is well worth and had some interesting features, I personally put AVG but I was wondering about obtaining notice!   Step 1: I suggest you perform the SFC scan on the computer and check.

  SFC tool scans system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.

  To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:

  1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
  2. right click on cmd in the list programs and then click Run as administrator.
  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
  3. at the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:

  sfc/scannow
