BlackBerry smartphones receive by e-mail

I once more got a new phone (this is my 3rd storm) and became the 1st day emails and it just stopped.  Any ideas?  I use outlook express to get them on the computer.  Thanks for your help.

You may have to return your service books... go to Configuration, email configuration, if required also, once click BB button and to the service books, click on send Service directories.  You should get the confirmation emails...

2nd, a simple battery pull my also solve this problem.   Let us know if it works.

  • BlackBerry smartphones RECEIVES the MAILS to FOLDERS other than Inbox

    Hello world

I have this problem that I'm trying to work around. On my yahoo mail, I've created rules for certain categories of emails coming. These rules to move messages that meet the criteria for folders that I created.

Now I have yahoo mail configured on my blackbery device but not to receive emails from other folders. All I get is emails that appear in my main Inbox folder.

Through the settings on my phone and can't find an option or a setting that can help me solve this problem.

    Ideas anyone?

    * I'm using BIS service

    Hello

using BIS, it's the processing order:
    1 your Y! mail server receives e-mails
2 your Y! mail server applies the rules
3 your Y! mail server sends messages from the Inbox to your server of BIS
4 your BIS server sends the emails to your BlackBerry smartphone

Therefore, there is no way to do what you want using Yahoo!.

I can suggest you see if it is possible to have the rules applied subsequently (I don't think it's possible with the electronic mail of Yahoo!).

If you want to automatically move messages into folders and have them on your device, you must use an e-mail provider that allows it. To this day, I know Microsoft Exchange can (in a corporate environment) and Google Mail (because the records are considered labels).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones receive Blackberry e-mail account in Outlook

No problems receiving all my emails on my BlackBerry.

Question is, can I receive the e-mail set up on BlackBerry IE: [email protected] in Outlook?

    Thank you

    VIC

No, at least not easily or directly to Outlook.

I remember once someone explain a viable solution for this one, where the user would BCC all these messages to another e-mail account and who POP in Outlook.

So if this is the case, simply use the alternative address...  I don't even recommend using the addresses of @yourcarrier.blackberry.net because they are not visible on the web and you can easily filter spam. And if you always change cell phone carriers, you lose.

Much simpler to just scrap it and get a gmail account.

  • Copy of blackBerry Smartphones receive messages that I've sent

Whenever I have send an email on my phone I get a copy of it immediately... almost instantly after you send. It comes in the form of message not read myself. I clearly messed up an email affecting somewhere... It also happens if I send an email from my pc... almost instantly after you send the message on my blackberry.

Also is there anyway to stop receiving messages "called" in my Inbox on my pc? whenever I have a message from my blackberry the confirmation message "delivered" appears in my Inbox on my pc.

    Thanks in advance,

    Mike

Wow... it sounds as if you have an old configuration of GMail in BIS... see this article:

    • KB10332 Duplicate sent email message arrives on the BlackBerry smartphone when sent using a built-in Gmail account

This problem was actually fixed several months ago... If you configure your GMail account to provide IMAP and then delete and recreate your conduit BIS, it shouldn't be a problem. There are all kinds of improvements through the last sheet of GMail in (I have not tried, btw - I use the application add-on GMail rather than BIS for my GMail accounts).

With respect to the acknowledgement of receipt that you get - you must go to the configuration of your BB Messages and which turns off:

    • Home screen > Messages > BBKey > Options > e-mail settings > (choose the GMail account if you have several) > delivery confirm > set on no.

Good luck and let us know!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    See this KB:

    • KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones

Replace the instructions appropriate for your other device instead of the transmitter unit KB section in the KB. Since you are on BB OS 6, the stage of "Receive using BT" is irrelevant.

  • BlackBerry smartphones receive emails on my blackberry 8300

I created my blackberry to receive my emails to my ATT email account. Everything worked fine for a while, but now I get these emails from network, [email protected], with a subject of RIM and a bunch of numbers after him. Enamel said not to remove or to answer because it is used to transport data between the blackberry and a home server and it will be processed by the server.

Why am I getting these and I can stop them appear in my house and Blackberry email? Help!

Try this, which had been originally posted by bifocals...

If you have several accounts of messaging on the Blackberry, you have multiple calendars.

Go to options, options, advanced services by default. Make sure that the CICAL and CMIME accompany the calendar you want to use on the BB.

Then, go to the calendar, options, and you will see a calendar by e-mail.

Highlight and click the calendar that you want to use as main calendar, note the number of records.

Highlight the other calendar and see if there are records it as well.

The goal is to have a calendar with all the correct information.

If you have a default calendar listed, and it contains documents, they will be not correctly synchronize with the desktop computer.

Be patient with the messages, they should be gone by the end of the day.  Let know us and good luck!

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Smartphones receive do not e-mail but can send

I have a colleague who has sporadic problems with his blackberry.

It seems that it cannot receive emails but can send as he wishes.

It is more an intermittent problem, but can sometimes take days to solve, usually resolve itself.

If anyone has experienced this? or can you advice on what may be the cause and the solution of the problem?

Given what you have revealed now, I have a new question. Is - this email BES? It is a device controlled by BES? If so, then see your admins BES that they control everything, even the features and functions of any BIS email accounts that can be configured.

  • BlackBerry smartphones receives do not e-mail

Yesterday, I was able to send and receive emails and SMS text.  Last night I put in place a new bluetooth adapter for my computer and sync my contacts in outlook, then off bluetooth.  I turned off the phone by pressing the red button during the night.  This morning I turned on the phone expect to get all my email but got nothing.

I discovered that I can send but not receive.  All services seem to work, simply cannot receive.

Any ideas what the problem may be?

    1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books.

  • BlackBerry smartphones receives do not all emails on Storm

I get only about 1/3 of my email on my Storm. I have a POP account with a 3rd-party set up with the Blackberry e-mail system to leave emails on my PC and send to my BB Storm.

The instructions on the forums said:

If you have a problem sending or receiving e-mail messages,
Send books to service for your BlackBerry Storm smartphone.

To send service directories, follow these steps:
    1. on the home screen, click Settings > e-mail settings.
    2. in the email accounts screen, display the menu and click on Service of depreciation. <== this="" option="" is="" not="" on="" the=""> of the storm

    3. click on Send Service books.

How can I make my email forwarding more reliable?

    Hello!

A bit of clarification, if you don't mind. Do you use the desktop redirector to send e-mails you or do you use BIS to draw from your POP account and send you Storm?

If you use BIS - how do you have your PC e-mail application set about e-mail leaving on your POP Server? If your PC is to remove them from the server, then it could be a matter of time - if your PC is to remove them from the server before the polling interval BIS, then they wouldn't be here when BIS tries to shoot them.

With respect to the service books, I can't say clearly if you listed all the steps... they are:

    1. Setup
    2. E-mail settings
    3. (sign in if you have created a password)
    4. scroll and highlight (do not click) the email account appropriate to handle BIS
    5. Click on the button (the button to the right of the green phone button) BB
    6. Select Service books
    7. Click on "send Service books.

If the option "Service books" is not in the menu, then maybe something else is missing. Have you tried logging into your site Web of BIS (http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F) carriers? I found it easier to manage the parameters of BIS from a PC and this site since the storm of the interface. (You may need about the storm, create an identifier and a password first... then you will be able to connect via the BIS Web site).
