BlackBerry smartphones receives do not e-mail

Yesterday, I was able to send and receive emails and SMS text.  Last night I put in place a new bluetooth adapter for my computer and sync my contacts in outlook, then off bluetooth.  I turned off the phone by pressing the red button during the night.  This morning I turned on the phone expect to get all my email but got nothing.

I discovered that I can send but not receive.  All services seem to work, simply cannot receive.

Any ideas what the problem may be?

1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books.
Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402
Your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830

3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart

  • BlackBerry smartphones receive is not SOME IMAP emails

After the initial Setup, I am able to receive emails on my BB Curve 8530 SOME, but not all.  Others do not receive on my BB FONT appear in Outlook 2007.  I can't identify any difference between these emails I receive on the BB and I did not.  On the recommendation of my host, I use their IMAP server.  POP3 is an option too.  I finished the registration and the reconciliation process.  I have consulted with my hosting provider and Verizon Wireless and RIM; all are perplexed.

    I would like ideas.

Thanks for your reply.  A phone call to Verizon Wireless has led to a call with RIM, which determined that the Blackberry firewall settings were not accurate.  Specifically, the firewall has been created to BLOCK BIS emails!

Your question, check the firewall, RIM also checked before the Outlook setting that leaves copies of the mail on the server; they were OK.  RIM even could not explain why some emails so forced that others have not.  In any case, all is well now!

  • BlackBerry smartphones receives do not all emails on Storm

I get only about 1/3 of my email on my Storm. I have a POP account with a 3rd-party set up with the Blackberry e-mail system to leave emails on my PC and send to my BB Storm.

The instructions on the forums said:

If you have a problem sending or receiving e-mail messages,
Send books to service for your BlackBerry Storm smartphone.

To send service directories, follow these steps:
    1. on the home screen, click Settings > e-mail settings.
    2. in the email accounts screen, display the menu and click on Service of depreciation. <== this="" option="" is="" not="" on="" the=""> of the storm

    3. click on Send Service books.

How can I make my email forwarding more reliable?

    Hello!

A bit of clarification, if you don't mind. Do you use the desktop redirector to send e-mails you or do you use BIS to draw from your POP account and send you Storm?

If you use BIS - how do you have your PC e-mail application set about e-mail leaving on your POP Server? If your PC is to remove them from the server, then it could be a matter of time - if your PC is to remove them from the server before the polling interval BIS, then they wouldn't be here when BIS tries to shoot them.

With respect to the service books, I can't say clearly if you listed all the steps... they are:

    1. Setup
    2. E-mail settings
    3. (sign in if you have created a password)
    4. scroll and highlight (do not click) the email account appropriate to handle BIS
    5. Click on the button (the button to the right of the green phone button) BB
    6. Select Service books
    7. Click on "send Service books.

If the option "Service books" is not in the menu, then maybe something else is missing. Have you tried logging into your site Web of BIS (http://www.blackberryfaq.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F) carriers? I found it easier to manage the parameters of BIS from a PC and this site since the storm of the interface. (You may need about the storm, create an identifier and a password first... then you will be able to connect via the BIS Web site).

  • BlackBerry smartphones receive do not eMail, battery life goes fast

This weekend, all of a sudden my independence started to go fast, and then I wasn't getting e-mail messages.  I re-entered all of my emails to att. BlackBerry and removed the battery to restart my phone.  I can send eMails, but do not yet get on my bberry.  Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Nathan

Solved by pinkdaisies... Thanks Rock Star!  See below

Finally a solution that worked! T-Mobile and the customer service unfortunately were not able to help, but research in Motion (RIM) my phone manufacturer has solved the problem of e-mail! Apparently, the old version of facebook causes conflicts with the receipt of emails.  You need to go into your Options, Options, advanced, then Applications, then click on Facebook.  Click the menu button, then select modules then scroll down your list until you see "net_rim_bb_facebook".  Beside that, you can see the version number.  You must have version 1.2.0.35

If you have an earlier version, delete Facebook.  When you remove it, you will be asked to reboot your phone.  When you restart, the facebook icon will be the "desktop" of your phone.  Click on it, and it will take you to the site, so you can download the new version.

  • BlackBerry smartphones RECEIVES the MAILS to FOLDERS other than Inbox

    Hello world

I have this problem that I'm trying to work around. On my yahoo mail, I've created rules for certain categories of emails coming. These rules to move messages that meet the criteria for folders that I created.

Now I have yahoo mail configured on my blackbery device but not to receive emails from other folders. All I get is emails that appear in my main Inbox folder.

Through the settings on my phone and can't find an option or a setting that can help me solve this problem.

    Ideas anyone?

    * I'm using BIS service

    Hello

using BIS, it's the processing order:
    1 your Y! mail server receives e-mails
2 your Y! mail server applies the rules
3 your Y! mail server sends messages from the Inbox to your server of BIS
4 your BIS server sends the emails to your BlackBerry smartphone

Therefore, there is no way to do what you want using Yahoo!.

I can suggest you see if it is possible to have the rules applied subsequently (I don't think it's possible with the electronic mail of Yahoo!).

If you want to automatically move messages into folders and have them on your device, you must use an e-mail provider that allows it. To this day, I know Microsoft Exchange can (in a corporate environment) and Google Mail (because the records are considered labels).

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot-~ 5 minutes...
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

N ° of BB devices lack a complete email client on them. Instead, they depend on the BIS service to provide messaging functionality. BIS is active when you have also listed Internet/personal email where you currently see only Enterprise. All services of BIS, are sent to the device via data carrier network... contact them are therefore the right approach to discover why their network is no longer to deliver to you the services that you pay for.

Good luck and let us know!

  • E-mail blackBerry Smartphone Accessing account telephone e-mail settings and BBerry

My problem is with my Blackberry Torch 9810 e-mail accounts. I have two accounts and it doesn't seem to work. I tried to access my accounts but now get a login to the screen of Bberry with [Personal Information deleted] ID and ask for password. I never have that in place. When I use the 'forgotten password' button, I get a message that reset instructions were sent to [Personal Information deleted] I have no idea how to do to access this account. Can you help me?

If BB ID is, as you say, new for you, then someone has configured this device with a BBID, and you can or don't want that. BBID is used to help to be sort of a "single sign on" to many things... BIS configuration, BBM, BB Protect email, etc. If you have not created this ID from BB, while you should really do is delete and create a new brand for yourself, that you store the credentials for, as you will need it from time to time (as you do now).

To remove the unit BBID and then create one for you, you must WIPE totally clean unit... This will make the device as it was brand new, so all the data and the applications that you have installed will be gone.

    • KB26694 How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet

Make sure that you have good backup of everything, as you need it - you can find the backup instructions in the auto-sig on this post.

But, if there is a chance that this BB ID is indeed something you created, but simply forgot, then you can try to get back into it. To do this, start first with them please:

    • KB28685 How to reset the BlackBerry ID password by using the password recovery question
    • KB32111 "The link is no longer valid." occurs when you attempt to reset a BlackBerry ID password
    • KB26361 How to change or reset the BlackBerry ID password
    • KB28111 Impossible to reset the BlackBerry ID password when using a hosted BlackBerry email address
    • KB28232 Reset blackBerry ID e-mail are not delivered to the mailbox associated with

If you have forgotten your ID BB credentials AND access non - BB (for example, Outlook, webmail, etc.) for the e-mail account which is currently configured on your account ID from BB, then these instructions should help you regain access to your account ID from BB, even without the issue of recovery or password (Please read them all carefully to find the section you depend on).

However, if you do not have access to this e-mail account, or if you have never successfully validated your BBID account, then your challenge is much larger, and you have a choice to make depending on your situation:

    1. If you have no AppWorld records you need to keep (for example, buy folders for the applications), then simply drop the BB ID and create a new. To do so, however, requires a device WIPE:

      • KB26694 How to change the BlackBerry ID on a BlackBerry smartphone or BlackBerry PlayBook Tablet
    2. But, if you do not have AppWorld documents that you need to keep, then you need human intervention. To receive, you must ring to the top of your mobile service provider and convince them to escalate your case up to BlackBerry. In addition, you must convince BlackBerry you with a solution - which probably will be reset your current BB ID so that you can access it again or you will need to create a new BBID and they will manually move your purchase to the wire records. Note that I don't know if they will be willing to do, but there is no other way I know of to keep your prior AppWorld purchase records.

    Good luck!

Also is there anyway to stop receiving messages "called" in my Inbox on my pc? whenever I have a message from my blackberry the confirmation message "delivered" appears in my Inbox on my pc.

Wow... it sounds as if you have an old configuration of GMail in BIS... see this article:

    • KB10332 Duplicate sent email message arrives on the BlackBerry smartphone when sent using a built-in Gmail account

This problem was actually fixed several months ago... If you configure your GMail account to provide IMAP and then delete and recreate your conduit BIS, it shouldn't be a problem. There are all kinds of improvements through the last sheet of GMail in (I have not tried, btw - I use the application add-on GMail rather than BIS for my GMail accounts).

With respect to the acknowledgement of receipt that you get - you must go to the configuration of your BB Messages and which turns off:

    • Home screen > Messages > BBKey > Options > e-mail settings > (choose the GMail account if you have several) > delivery confirm > set on no.

Good luck and let us know!

Security BB9900 husbands suffered for me to use, but I'm unable to set up the e-mail.

The only option is to set up the email through the activation of the company.

I tried to register it on my carriers BIS activation Web site but got the message that it cannot be done through my camera

Configuration of e-mail icon only gives the ability to configure one enable a business account

Have tried blackberry.com/integrate but I get the message "unknown error, please try again" after selecting "launch email configuration".

Me doesn't appears not be factory because there is no place to add a pop account without activate BES.

I just need to go to Yahoo, without BES. Any suggestions?

    Sourcery says:

I also did a wipe of security directly on the phone. No joy.

According to KB21918 and KB18998, you should eliminate BES.

Actually no, both give a re-read, especially words such as these:

The factory reset just as the option wipe Handheld performs from the BlackBerry smartphone, with a few minor differences.

    • Wipe Handheld - The wipe Handheld option is made directly on the BlackBerry smartphone (see KB02318 and KB14058). This option removes all BlackBerry application data (emails, address book entries, calendar of events, etc.) and allows the removal of installed Applications and the content of the press card.
    • Reset to the default factory - data Application will be withdrawn and HE are so political. Third-party programs will be NOT affected by this operation. They will remain intact.

ResetToFactory, via the charger or desktop software, is the method to remove an it strategy. Reference:

    • Article ID: KB16307 Actions performed by the BlackBerry smartphone during the removal of the user stored and application data

Now, PAHO situation... which I think is that the device has been associated with BES before and is no longer. Once the it strategy is removed, then the unit must be ready to accept the carrier BIS account. You can check if the it policy has been removed through this:

    • Article ID: KB30076 How to check for an it on a BlackBerry smartphone policy

If the company removed and only is offered for the e-mail configuration, then the problem is that the unit does not service the carrier BIS.

To use the exclusive services of BB (including the ability to Push email, BBM, etc), you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Carriers BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) host for their BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier that delivers BIS users of BB - contact - the for assistance. Once you have an email Push-enabled compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), your exclusive services BB will work (for example, you will have a staff/Internet Email added to the email Setup Wizard, your BBM will work, etc.).

With hundreds of carriers in the world, each with dozens of different data plans it is impossible to say that any plan service could actually expressly provide for. Only carriers can answer this question. The best thing to do is to decide what services you want and then talk to your carrier about obtaining a data plan that allows what you want (to them).

    Good luck!

  • Problems of blackBerry Smartphones while creating an e-mail account

    Hej,

in late July, I bought a BB Curve 9320. Until today, I wasn't able to create an e-mail account. A smartphone without access to e-mail. The problem is missing to create an internet e-mail account. I'm only able to set information for a business account, which I did not. In recent weeks I spent hours and hours reading manuals/blogs and watching youtube videos. I also asked my phone provider if they put in limits for internet e-mail accounts. Nothing of the sort.

I guess that the problem may be caused by our bb playbook. It works well enough. The playbook is running to a live windows account for email, contacts, and dates. When I started the 9320, I first used the same bb id that we use on the playbook.

Please help me, I'm totally frustrated. What can I do?

    Sincere best wishes from Hamburg
