BlackBerry Smartphones receive files via bluetooth on my BlackberryTorch

I'm having a problem to receive the file on my torch because I does'nt have the option 'receive via bluetooth' on my Blackberry torch. I'm on the 6.0.0.448 version.

I am a new user of the blackberry torch, and I love it, except for this problem.

Can someone help me?

p.s. I'm french, so I apologize if this is not correctly written

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

See this KB:

  • KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones

Replace the instructions appropriate for your other device instead of the transmitter unit KB section in the KB. Since you are on BB OS 6, the stage of "Receive using BT" is irrelevant.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Need help from blackBerry Smartphones: send files via Bluetooth for my Curve 8900

    Hi all

Earlier this week, I made the change to a BB and overall I am very happy with it, but there is a thing that is annoying on the phone and despite my efforts and a lot of tinkering, I was not able to solve this problem, I'm looking for help.

I try to send files to other Bluetooth devices to my BB 8900 and I can't do work of t. strangely, I can send my BB files to other Bluetooth devices with no problems but I can't send things on my device.

    I lived the articles (e.g. http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB04132&slic... )

    but in vain.

In a nut shell, I enabled bluetooth on my camera, I made detectable and combined with other devices that I am trying to transfer files from, I went into options of the terminal for these devices and their confidence, and then I tried to send files.

If I send from another phone (LG viewty) or Nokia E61i, I get an error message indicating that "send failed".

If I send a computer that was paired, I select the file I want to send > right click > sent to > Bluetooth > other and select my BB8900 in the list of paired devices. At this point, the computer appears to try to send the file, but I am presented with an error message indicating "file transfer Service is not found on device BB8900."

Why is this? How do I am able to send files to my BB 8900 but not sent to it, and what can I do to solve this problem?

This problem is causing me a lot of grief that I have given on other phones, I need to transfer to my new BB, unfortunately I do not have a USB cable to one of the phones, so Bluetooth is the best alternative.

    Please can someone help!

    Thanks in advance,

    /Chuck

OK, so after re-reading of this last KB article, I realized that I was a complete dunce!

I have now managed to successfullty receive pictures and audio files on my BB.

Please help someone, my blackberry storm can not receive files via bluetooth, but I can send, what could be the problem?

Have you tried and went to accept via Bluetooth? Some of the older software on the BBS, you need to go to the media file and say accept via Bluetooth. Consider the two features are already paired.

  • slate7 hd unable to receive files via bluetooth

    Hiya,

I have a HD Slate7 7 '' android pad and used for 3 months and recently noticed that it became unable to receive files via bluetooth transfer. I restarted the machine and also restarted the bluetooth but always without success. However, I can still use bluetooth to transfer files. Would it be a hardware failure, I declined cushion by chance a few times?

    Hey windphantom,

Thanks for the information, which helps a lot.

It seems that the Bluetooth can be cached on the tablet. You should be able to clear the cache of Bluetooth like any other application by going to settings > Apps > all > share of Bluetooth and pressing then clear the Cache.

If this is not enough, you can try a factory reset. You can see how to do this here: perform a factory reset on your HP Slate 7 HD.

Let me know if this helps.

  • Unable to send or receive files via bluetooth.

Hey guys, I have a Microsoft bluetooth - the transceiver v3.0 Bluetooth dongle. This dongle came with my entire keyboard and mouse (Wireless Laser Mouse 8000 and Wireless Entertainment Keyboard 7000). In any case, before, when I was with Vista, I could send and receive files via bluetooth dongle.

After the upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, I can't do it, but I'm still able to pair my mouse and keyboard for it. When I try to send a file, this message pops up: "Windows could not transfer files. The file could not be sent because the connection could not be established. Make sure the Bluetooth radio is plugged. To try again, click the back arrow. »

I uninstalled and reinstalled the software IntelliPoint/IntelliTypePro, which would be to reinstall the driver from the transceiver, but the problem persists. In Device Manager, bluetooth radios does not appear.

Can anyone help me please with this problem?

    I posted it.

Go to your system and look under Vista drivers and then look under Windows 7 drivers.
There are Vista drivers and those who would have come on your system. There is no windows
    7 currently available drivers.

Acer - Driver - go to your system

You can also try an add-on BlueTooth complete that adds full system support if you can find one.

Rob Brown - MS MVP - Windows Desktop Experience: Bike - Mark Twain said it right.

    Hi Alexander,

Thanks for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

I'm sorry to know that you are unable to receive files via Bluetooth. I appreciate your efforts to try to resolve the problem.

    1. What happens when you try to receive files, you get the error message?
    2. You have uninstalled the Bluetooth driver?

If this isn't the case, then try to uninstall the Bluetooth drivers.

    1. Press the Windows key + R, type devmgmt.msc.
    2. Expand the drivers Bluetooth, click Bluetooth device.
    3. Right-click and then select Properties and choose Uninstall.
    4. Click OK.

You can re - install either by visiting the website of manufacturers or Windows updates.

If you can't find the drivers for Windows 8, you can install Windows 7 Bluetooth drivers in compatibility mode and check if it helps.

Please download the drivers for Windows 7 and install in compatibility mode:

I had to wipe my curve over the weekend, and before that I did, I transferred files (pictures and ringtones) on my desk.  Now, I can't get back them on the curve!  What I am doing wrong?  Obviously, I have a ton more photos and mp3 files on my computer that did not need to be transferred, but when I click "receive using bluetooth", I don't know how to refer the file to the desktop I want transferred back.  Help!

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    See this KB:

    • KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones

Replace the instructions appropriate for your other device instead of the transmitter unit KB section in the KB. It is on this other device (PC, I guess) you must start sending once you asked the BB to receive.

Good luck and let us know!

    Hello!

To receive a file via BT, you must first ask your BB to accept the attempt to send to the other device... otherwise it doesn't meet the attempt (I know, it's this way even if it is paired and trust). Navigate to the folder you want the file to be placed (media > BBKey > Explore) and then activate the BT reception option (BBKey > receive using BT). Then start sending the other camera.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones could not receive files via bluetooth

    Hello

I just got the Blackberry Storm today and you try to transfer all my contacts etc from my old phone to my blackberry.

They recognize each other and connect momentarily then the blackberry stores my old phone

It is certainly my blackberry which tried the problem because I also send things on another phone just to check.

I tried all possible ways... I can think... peeling the two-way, connection, then sending... only said: "connection failure" on my Samsung.

Now, I'm stuck with what to do.

    Help, please!

    Thank you

  • Transfer file via Bluetooth (image, pdf, etc)

    Hi guys,.

I'm looking for a way to send files via bluetooth as pdf/image/etc in a labview program (on a pc) to a smartphone (or any device with bluetooth). While I send you files with Labview, the receiving end will not be a labview program. It will be like phone to transfer files from the phone.

I realized that there are drivers/examples on this file send/receive of bluetooth, but they send strings and the receiver must translate into the file again. They are different with my application where the smartphone will not have a labview program...

    Any Advisor... ?

You could start here and can be also contact Shaun to see if there is an updated version.
