I get that 50 - 100 times a day. Its driving me crazy. Any help will be greatly appreciated. I tried to wipe the handheld computer to replace the phone. I'm not addicted in a server business, but for some reason, he thinks that my aol email is connected to one. I have no book service bureau in the phone.

I have contacted my carriers tech support but have been unsuccessful so far.

I understand that this error message is related to a company server - so my question is how to stop?

All the steps on the website do not work because I do not have books of service office or ever be put on a company server.

Please help, I'm desperate. I'm willing to interrupt the e-mail account, but I want it as a final last step.

Well after months of torture, we have a cure. I had to have my I.T dept a disturbance of the record and after hours of troubleshooting over the phone... We contacted R.I.M and they had me wipe my blackberry pearl original to see if it worked and it didn't... but ppl @ R.I.M proposed to create a filter in my email inbox and send just directly to the trash. So that was my landline. Why didn't think of this!

    Thanks for all the comments!

  • Odd email blackBerry Smartphones: what the rim?

I received email on my torch very well, but sending is weird in the last 24 hours. Some messages go very well, some other you end up with a red X instead of a checkbox in the message list and the status message says "all attempts to return it to failed." Any suggestions?

In addition, I got a lot of strange messages that appear to come from [email protected]. The topic is: RIM_bca28a80-e9c0 - 11 d 1-87fe-00600811c6a2

The body of the email says, "this message is used to carry data between your BlackBerry handheld and a home server. Please do not delete, move, or reply to this message - it will be processed by the server. "Then, there is a long series of numbers and letters. Each email and I received about 9 or 10 of them this week, has an attachment identified as FTES. DAT, but I have not opened any of the accessories.

Anyone has any ideas on my outgoing e-mail problem and these emails weird I think. ? Are they really the rim?

To address your problem of outgoing messages, remove the battery while your phone is on, then replace it a few seconds later.  That will often fix these problems (and otherwise, you might find that your phone will work at least smoother).

In regard to the messages that you receive, yes they are rim, and they are legitimate.  I can honestly tell you what is their goal, but it has nothing suspicious about them.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

In general, there is (if I remember) possible two causes:

    (1) you're on BES, and something is wrong with the configuration. Resolution - request assistance from your BES admins.

    (2) you have set up the desktop redirector, but also be on BIS or BES. Resolution – choose one method of delivery E-mail OTA to your BB and delete the other.

I hope you in the right direction Gets!
