Is there a way to define the place of "BOLD" to send / receive e-mails to company via Wifi when, in a trusted network zone?

You should have no problems at all sending or receiving emails (BES or BIS) when connected to WiFi. When your "BOLD" is connected to the mobile network and WiFi at the same time, it will use the WiFi as the preferred connection. You can test this by making that WiFi is connected (connection-> Services Status Manager) and it will show you what service is currently being used for Mobile, BlackBerry Internet Service and BlackBerry Enterprise Service voice. When BIS and BES show free 'WiFi', you would be able to turn off the mobile network and you will always be able to send/receive emails. Once you have done so, turn on the mobile network and you'll see the link always shows as "WiFi" instead of "Mobile network".

I am able to send using the my BB Gmail account & I get in my Inbox via gmail.com only! I sent emails at random my gmail.com Inbox just like a test & still only received in the Inbox via gmail.com & not on my BB. I don't know why were there to Gmail security changes that can cause this problem? Any help would be appreciated as my Gmail account is my main account for business related emails so I always need to be connected. Thank you.

    1 - first record your PDA to your network.

    • Wait until you receive the registration for each email message on your message box

    There is a current major outage... official information are available here:

    From my experience, this affects BIS, BES and all services that depend on those (BBM, email, AppWorld, web browsing, application access to the data from the internet, etc.). Troubleshooting specific issues during this interruption may be unnecessary.

    Once the fault clears, if things are not yet flowing for you, try the following steps:

    (1) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    Never had a problem up to and including this morning. All of a sudden, I'm not receiving emails about my "BOLD". Received a notification on "BOLD" I put in place email with BlackBerry etc. But no e-mails arrive through whatever it is. And he was working this morning and before. I can not even send emails from the "BOLD" all of a sudden. What happens, anyone can help. If I even add another existing e-mail account, the icon appears on my "BOLD" but still once, nothing comes thru. Thanks in advance.

    No, BlackBerrys only send emails based text, not HTML.

    They do receive and display the HTML code.

    Me my first phone Blackberry a couple of weeks and have had no problem if he put in place and work, including three (Yahoo, GMail & Pipex) POP e-mail accounts.

    However the last two days I have mixed results with the receipt of emails.

    One day this week, I was wondering why the battery was doing so well (!) and realized that I had not received the emails.  Soft reset and they started to come through and I got in the day then.

    Today, I turn on the phone and two emails are received immediately, but no more have been received despite 6 or 7 in my Yahoo Inbox.

    Data services is enabled and I have full 3G signal.  I really don't want to do a restart hot every day to enable messaging!  The advantage is that the battery is always 95% and its been over 4 hours!

    I got my BB Curve 8520 for a while and a Pearl before this one, so I know how to send and receive data via bluetooth. Everything was good and no problem send and receive data via bluetooth. However, on the fly (or what it seems) the menu options "send via bluetooth" and 'receive via bluetooth' is no longer there. It doesn't matter if the bluetooth is turned on or off.  Anyone idea how to solve this problem?

    Thanks for your help. As it happens, I just found the solution myself. For some reason, under the 'Bluetooth series' and 'options' Bluetooth paired devices, the 'data transfer' parameter was not checked more. I don't know how it happened, but when I checked it again, everything was beautiful!

    You can try to register new device

    Go to menu, options, advanced options, host routing table, press menu again and sign up now.

    After that reboot the device, remove the battery for 30 seconds, to check if the mails are coming.
