  Yes, you can copy the files over, however they are always encrypted.

  You must remove the encryption on the card in the BlackBerry smartphone first, and then move the files, so that they can be used.

  Hello! I BBCurve9380 and somehow it just stopped making the calls, but I can still receive. I don't know if it's on the changed settings but on what I read in other forums, it's on the it policy. I checked mine and it says BBFS1 [GTALKAP1] and WLM 2.1 [WLMAP01]. I've updated all my apps and my computer can read my phone just fine. When I try to make a call, it automatically disconnects. Any help would be appreciated.

  In fact, you have a lot more work to do, in light of your acquisition method. Reference:

But regarding if that will restore your ability to make calls, I have no way to predict the future... If something is the cause of this specific problem, then we'll have to deal with this - AFTER you remove the it policy so that we can be sure it does not hinder anything else.

I have read several posts regarding the definition of the profile in a certain framework (Loud, Normal or another), but my problem is that I know exactly how do it, but I have mine set on one thing and it does something else (the value to 'normal' and reacts as vibrate/ring). This is my first BB and the first smartphone in general, but I'm at least tech savvy and have put things as it should. Ask yourself if this is a bug or there at - it another setting that should be done as well? If there is, which does not make any sense to me.

  After looking again, I found a solution. I guess there are some "tweaking" as neds to do now. I put a user profile now. There is no mention of this in my little book on disabling don't vibrate completely. I'll improve and we hope get straightened results. I can I have posted this in haste before that I searched deep soul. Sorry for the preventive post, but thanks for all the information USEFUL here!

  There seems to be a hardware problem... have u tried a reboot of your BB battery pull, if you have not then try it once... If the problem persists, I recommend you to visit a centre of Service of BB and they have a quick glance at your question...

• BlackBerry Smartphones installed East Asian input language, but may not use it

  I met a strange thing. My goal was to install and use Simplified Chinese input to write in simplified Chinese. I followed the instructions given ony various websites. I downloaded via this site http://us.blackberry.com/support/apps-and-software/desktop-and-device-download-sites.html the 9900jAllLang_PBr7.1.0_rel1149_PL5.1.0.276_A7.1.0.342.exe file (file size: > 260MO) and managed to install it. Everything seemed fine.

  Alas, after a successful installation, I still can't select Chinese simplified as an input language. I suspect it's because as simplified Chinese (and btw also Japanese and Korean, which are not selectable) application for entry is version 6.0, while the languages selectable as input language version 7.1!

  

  

  All European languages in the upper screenshot as well as Hindi and Vietnamese are selectable and I guess that's just because they also have version 7.1. As the package I downloaded is widely considered to be the most recent, I wonder why the Chinese, Korean and Japanese are the only version 6.0.

  How can I solve this problem? Is it possible to choose language of entry of a lower version? Or is it possible to update the version of input language?

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  To be clear... the screenshots you provided the second shows all these 6.0 languages as "Installed", which means, with respect to all software/OS Desktop, they are installed in your BB. So is what you're saying that, on your BB itself, even if they show in the Desktop software installed, you can not select to use them on your BB itself? It is indeed strange, if this is the case... and your suspicions may be correct.

  To fix this, my advice is to find a version more recent operating system package... I am running for my BB, 7.1.0.523 model, and it shows them all as 7.1 and not 6.0 (although I don't have installed them to my BB, but they are available).

  So I would guess that your suspicion is correct, but a newer OS 7.1 package may hold the cure you need. You should consult, via the official download portal, a new package of OS 7.1 to your BB model. In our "BOLD" forum there is a sticky thread that lists all businesses of the 9900:

  Xandrex trying to keep this sticky thread updated, but lately has been able to... it is therefore not currently useful in determining the exact OS levels that each carrier support 9900 is on... but at least it narrows down the list of carriers to seek through the download portal, so it is useful for that at least.

  I have a colleague who has sporadic problems with his blackberry.

  It seems that it cannot receive emails but can send as he wishes.

  I tried to take a few pictures with my storm last night when I was at a party and when I tried to do, I got an error message.

  I can't show you a picture, you cannot add attachments, but the error message reads:

  (letter i icon) File system error

  (the folder icon) / Device memory/home/user/photos

  Name: IMG0007-200... (name of the photo)

  I looked everywhere that I have air...

  I went to the Options... Memory and looked at what I had available. Here's what I found:

  Application memory

  Free space: 9.6 MB

  The device memory

  Total area: 879.2 MB

  Free space: 0.0 KB

  Multimedia card

  Total space: 7.3 GB

  Free space: 5.6 GB

  Of course, the glaring problem is that I don't have ANY free space on the device.  Where everything is?  I have a 8 GB memory card and I have uploaded about 150 songs in my Storm. However, I have not downloaded photos or anything else. What happened to all the memory?   Where everything is?

  I tried a couple things like turn market, pulling out the memory card, etc... I tried to attach the storm and then sneaked in the records themselves and the only things I could find in ALL files was my MP3 files.

  Anyone know what's happened here?

  I am trying to remove the my BB8900 yahoo Messenger but I still get emails.

  What I've done so far, it was go in the list of applications and check if there is a line mensioning Yahoo. It wasn't, so I was already wondering how to remove it. On the internet, I found that I have to remove the service I did! (Do not remember well, but I think that there are two lines to remove.)

  Problem is that I have always received emails, send to my yahoo on my blackberry account.

  This morning entered the list of the modules and deleted the YHO BBS2 (or something like that)

  At out the battery and restarted 1 minute later... guess what still emails on my blackberry?

  This is getting crazy!

  There is probably another somwhere line that needs to be deleted... but where?

I tried to download it once more, but with a different language, and it asked me to restart my phone. I thought it was going to work, because he had not done the two previous times.   first thing, is to ensure that the application is not already installed on your device.

  Home screen > options > advanced > applications

I bought a BlackBerry Curve 8520 almost exclusively for use with Impatica Showmate, which allows me to use the BlackBerry with PowerPoint presentations via a Bluetooth connection. I need to install an application called Impatice Viewer on BlackBerry to make it work. I have Desktop Manager Version 6 and have used it to import the appropriate file, and then install it on my BlackBerry, but the application does not appear on the phone. I can see under Options/Applications/3 rd Party, but the icon is not found. I've seen similar problems on various forums, which this one and have already followed all the instructions there data. I've looked everywhere, I made sure that I am on "Show all" and I've deleted and reinstalled several times. All to nothing does not. Please, please can someone tell me how I can make this application works. Thank you.

  Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below. It seems that your carrier has not published anything in a while.

  Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.

  1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
  2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."
  3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.

  I was wondering if anyone can help, I have searched and searched, but found a few different solutions.

  My boyfriend and I both have the blackberry bold 9700, but today, it has encountered a problem.

  He had his phone in his pocket, while we were in the middle of texting he locked his phone using the locking password and then when he went to read the message I sent him it would not unblock him his phone.

  He has never even changed the password or all parameters - don't really know how. I put his phone for him etc.

  He's on his attempt to 9/10 the password, tried to use the ALT key and what other advisde forums, but this has not helped the situation.

  Is there something else?

  It's pathetic if he will lose his contacts, as he never changed the password. (and no backup at all).

  All contacts are saved in the sim card if they stay? Help, please!

  HI and welcome to the Forums!

  While that unfortunate, it seems that you have already read and tried all possible combinations to get the password entered correctly. Only the configured password will work... There is no 'master' password or 'backdoor' to unlock BB. With only an attempt on the left, there is virtually no hope of success. One thing that might have tried was to attach to a PC... If you know how to enter the password correctly on the PC keyboard, which would have reset the counter... but, once again, with one shot left...

  Since you say that there is no backup, then all personal information, including contacts, will be conscientiously deleted. According to me, which will also include those on the SIM card.
