  I changed my email password on my gmail account using the web browser on my desktop. But I have difficulties to access the e-mail on my Torch settings so that I can type the new password. I go to 'Set up' and then have the choice of the "Internet mail account" or "business account". I click on the first and get a page entitled "existing users". Then I type my user name and password. I guess that this refers to my blackberry user name and password. But when I type the info and press "contuinue" I get a message saying "the user name is not valid. A user name must be at least 4 characters." My user name is my gmail address, which includes 16 letters before @gmail.com.

  Very well. Problem solved. Apparently when I first set up my Blackberry with my service provider, I did a combo of name of user and password on the Web site. Of course, I forgot all that I ever needed it again--until even two days ago.

  The trick is to contact your service provider and request the user name if you forgot. They can then send you a new password if you don't remember the original. With the correct username and the new password, you should be able to access e-mail settings, and then click the relevant e-mail account and change the password.

  It worked for me in any case. Good luck for the rest of you.

  Your home screen, press the menu key and select Show all in the list.  If this option does not appear, try the suggestion that follows.

  Connect your phone to your PC via USB and open BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Click at the top of the device, and then click on restore in the menu dropdown.  Make sure that the most recent backup is checked and click OK.

  If you have not all backups, then click device up and update the menu drop down.  He will say that your phone is up to date.  Choose to view the other Versions and make sure that your current version is the one that is checked.  Click Update and wait outside.  That will restore the icon of your e-mail.

  While I don't know TREB, I know that the storm browser can identify websites like IE. Starting in the browser, press the BBKey and select Options > browser Configuration. On this screen is a selection of Identification of the browser... change to IE and I hope that it will work! You may need to play with other settings as well... try to find the combination that suits you best.

  Hi every1! I use a BB 9800 torch which is juice a week. I had downloaded a few applications and after that it is unsatisfactory wanted to delete. After the removal of the application, the device has prompted the deletion should take place only if the device is restarted. I chose to restart and my phone rebooted in 30 seconds, I guess. But when it restarted, I realized that my memory card was completely deleted and unformated. The device prompted me the memory card had to be repaired. I chose to do so, but to my surprise when I used the file manager application preloaded in da fone, I cdnt find my memory card. I hada go to options and format my memory card yet. The first happened, I thought I had done sumdin rong, but wen he happnd every time I deleted an app, I'm getting scared.

  I wonder if the some1 could help me wid say problem so dat if this is a problem of faulty device, I couldn't replace as soon as possible! Oh I just that I use the 4 GB card, I got alongwith the unit.

  Running Windows 7 Home Premium.  When I try to open the downloaded documents I get the error message "Microsoft Wordstarter 2010 cannot be opened. Try again or repair the product in the Panel.  Try gives the same result again. Could not find anything in the Panel that appears to appy.

  Save the file to your hard drive, open Word Starter 2010, click file > open > navigate where the file is saved on your hard drive.

  I'm new to this forum, and I have a problem. I can access is no longer the site http://mobile.blackberry.com from my Blackberry curve 8900 for two weeks. Everytime I try to log in, from the bb browser or Opera mini browser, a message is displayed indicating that this is a non-blackberry page. the text of the page indicates that "Unfortunately, your current device and/or browser is not compatible for this site." What should I do to access the site from my Blackberry to download stuff. I have the latest version of the software that I installed today thinking it solve my problem, but to no avail. Can someone help me?

  I use mobile.blackberry.com

  I suggest you open the browser, the functioning of the menu key cache, clear all categories.

  I would go to the configuration of the browser and select browser Blackberry emulation.

  I suggest a battery pull to set options and completely clear the queues.

  Try to download the software directly to your computer and use the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to perform the update.

  If you are referring to the [email protected] email account, you can access on a PC or anywhere other than on the device BlackBerry itself (which is one of the reasons why I often tell users not to use these e-mail accounts - get a Gmail or Yahoo account).

  I try to access my voicemail access number and I've seen on this forum that it is accessible via the Menu-> Options-> voice mail.  However, I do not have this option on my Blackberry "BOLD".  My carrier is AT & T.  Is this something that AT & T centralizes / maintains?  I think the number would be an option by phone.

  I just got a Bold 9780 and that's fine except that when I try to access the icon I want, I keep accidentally swipe the screen in a different position, he's going to 'All' in 'Favorites', 'Media', "downloads,"Frequent"then back to 'All'. My only previous, 9700, just had all the icons on the screen and did not have these alternative schemes. I find it quite disconcerting and want to fix to display ALL icons of all time. I did both in the order they came out and it fixed everything. Others that I lost everything in my calendar, everything works. No hourglass and everything seems to work a little faster. They were all the updates for my Blackberry Desktop Manager! Thank you all for all your help with my problem!

  When I call my phone company # my company BlackBerry 8330, one of my options is to press the sign # to access the company's repertoire.

  But... my keyboard is not this way of working.  It takes the first letter that corresponds to a number, I think I've hit.  The phone that I can find in the office that works is a Razr, that mimics a real phone with the 3 letters/key keyboard of course.

  I hope that there is an easy solution for this.

  Spell a name, say 'SMITH', press on and hold down the ALT key (lower left) while typing the letters you need.
