  • BlackBerry Smartphones unlock my phone to allow for the transfer of the network

    Hello

I'm trying to transfer between networks.  My old network (t-mobile) have cancelled my account and I received my new SIM from my new network (3).  The problem is that my phone does not accept my new sim card because I need a subsidy PIN to unlock my t-mobile blackberry.  I got in touch with them, but the account is now canceled they no longer can give me the required pin code.  Instead, they asked me to contact blackberry directly to get the phone unlocked.  Can you help me?

    Thank you

BlackBerry is not open devices. Your carrier can do it for free, or you can buy an unlock code low cost.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unlock and free apps...

Is it possible to get free applications (which are not free). In addition, it is a difficult process to "unlock" my phone? I don't know if it's what it's called.

I have a Curve 8520. I've been thinking unlock because there are so many things on my phone! I am very happy, but I can't spend all that money on it. And if it was unlocked, I would be able to purchase/get these paid apps free? Or is it just do it because Blackberry App World is separated from my unit?

And what are the other features that were not there before on an unlocked device? Would you recommend it? Would it be possible to restore my settings by default return alias to an original "locked" phone?

Thanks in advance for any help!

The apps are either free are paid. You legal can't get a paid app for free. But then, why worry. There are so many free apps available without its problems. All my apps are free.

If your device is "locked" to a carrier is quite irrelevant in regards to the apps and features. While the main BB services are provided support, there is little difference. It is possible to have a device locked to company and load the OS from another carrier. It would be beneficial if your carrier existing only supplied OS 4, but you wanted OS 5 (the best you will get on a 8520).

So unlock the device from your current provider is possible, that it won't earn what you want.

  • Data not updated blackBerry Smartphones when inactive phone

    Hi all

Recently, I removed my main of my device e-mail address while he is on vacation.

I just put back it, but now I find that data (emails and BBM) are not updated when the phone was in bag for awhile.

If I put myself in response to or sending emails or BBM of unit all starts update again and all emails in circulation and BMMs come out at the same time.

Everything working the normal flow is restored, but after being in the Pocket for awhile everything stops again.

    Any ideas?

I noticed the problem when I started getting these archaic messages called SMS asking me why I do not answer to my BBM... naturally the idea of not receiving them is scaring me senseless!

    Kind regards

Hi and welcome to the forums!

We need to know what version of the software on your device.

Check the version of operating system of the device, and then use the correct steps to register your device. Basically, you refresh your network connection and the software to control the connection on your device.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unlock Verizon 8830 for use in the United Kingdom

I'm going to England in a month and I would use my Verizon 8830.  Verizon wants to sell me a $30 SIM card and charge me $1.29 / minute.  Can unlock it for that I use a UK bought SIM?

Thanks for all the info.  Here's what I found out from Verizon.  To unlock the phone, you must call the global group of Services (888-844-0395) and tell them you want to unlock your phone.  To unlock it, you must have a SIM card.  Interestingly, they'll send me a free, after that I was told that it will cost $30 in my local store.  When you call, they will give you an unlock code.  Here's how to use it:

1 turn off all wireless connections (manage connections - disable all connections)
    2. go to Options
    3. Select Advanced Options
    4. Select SIM card
    5. tap on menu select show keybord
    6. Enter mepd (you will not be able to see the typed info)
    7. type mep2
    8. now it will say enter network mep code
    9. Enter the code given to you by Verizon

    10. turn off the power and remove the battery to reset

11 re - enable wireless connections

I should have my SIM on Thursday and I will he give a try.

  • BlackBerry smartphone unlocked Blackberry Torch - network settings fixed

Hi everyone, hope I'm not repeating my message! I'm basically a Torch unlocked with no identifiers of network either, and because I have a 3 UK SIM card, I hope to set up my Torch unlocked to access the services available on my current phone. I don't have any information about the settings that must be entered into the phone, but do not know how to get on the phone? If someone can guide me in the right direction, I would be really grateful! I would do it myself if possible, but if not I'll phone upward or upgrade my phone to a 3 store to get it configured.

If you want to use all the features of your phone as BBM, email, blackberry browser and app world you need a blackberry plan data.

Call three customer service and to make sure the service Blackberry turned on your contract and all the right settings will be pushed to your phone.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unlock my BB Torch after 10 incorrect codes.

    Hi all

I had the Blackberry Torch I want to finally achieve unlocked. Unfortunately, the phone service provider or provider (Bouygues Telecom) could unlock because ten trials helped to unlock have been overtaken by my little brother who was trying to use it with a Virgin Mobile SIM when I was hospitalized. My phone operator Bouygues told me there is nothing they can do. How can I unlock then. Please help me.

    Best regards

    Erick

After ten attempts have been used, you must get the RIM to unlock the device.

There are two lanes and two only, to achieve this.

    * IF your unit is under warranty, contact your technical support service provider. Tell them that you have this problem that needs to be remounted at the RIM customer service level. I'll warn that most of the technical support people carrier assume first and think that you are talking about security of the release device, and you have to convince them of the contrary and explain clearly what you need. THEY will not be able to help you because the carriers themselves cannot unlock a device that had the code MEP attempts exhaustion and should (and you have to ask) to have the case escalated to a medium technical level RIM.
    * If your camera is out of warranty, contact directly the RIM. See the information to reach us from the Web site: http://ca.blackberry.com/contact/ the options that you want to select to talk to the BlackBerry customer service are 3 (for requests of information, orders, billing, e - RMA etc.) then 5 (e - RMA and warranty).

    Make sense? Good luck.

  • BlackBerry smartphones stuck on "phone

I started a message on it, but it disappeared at half way through.  I am a new owner of the curve.  I'm stuck on the "phone that was working fine until this morning.  When I try to unlock it rejects my PIN and gives me the command "enter Blackberry" when I enter my PIN or the Blackberry, it refuses to unlock but calls for again "enter Blackberry."  I have read through the manuals that he got with the "phone, but cannot find any solution.  I also tried a hard and then soft reset but none worked.  Any ideas please.

You won't have to set up a new account, just reboot with a battery pull and your old email accounts should return.

Or you need to re-register the device on the service, see below.

Finally, you must type 'blackberry ', not 'Blackerry '. Note that this is ALL lowercase.

  • Error on blackBerry Smartphones Storm 9550 phone Options

I recently bought a unlocked 9550 Storm and use it on the GSM network in India.  I have configured my Blackberry Enterprise Server emails on the phone, and according to my organizational policies, the phone is password protected and auto locks every 30 minutes.  When the phone is in unlock mode, all incoming calls, displays the name of my book.  However, when I get calls in lock mode, no name is displayed and only the no. is displayed.  Seems that incoming calls are unable to find the number in my book, when the phone is in lock mode. All the solutions for this?

Also, I see not to call waiting, call forward, calls and FDN phone list in my phone Options menu options.

At least, I managed to solve the problem with incoming calls.

Go to Options > Secutiry Options > encryption and select No to "include the Contacts". This way that contacts will not be not encrypted and you can call the names even when the phone is locked

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unlock my Pearl 9100 3

Sorry if this is in the wrong place, its my first post

Anyway, I have a BlackBerry with WIND Mobile to the Canada and they provide unlock codes for phones for customers who are in good standing after 3 months with them.

Question 1 - does release the vacuum device its guarantee? (even if the WIND gives it free?)

2 - How would do to get the menu unlock

3 - How long should the code be? (Just to be safe)

4 - can I turn off the radio before that? Do I need to have the SIM card of other providers? (I hope no, I'm going to Europe and I'll get a SIM card it)

    Thanks in advance

No.... but you would be sure to check with your warranty provider... who also happens be the WIND.

    Follow this FAQ:

I don't remember if it varies according to the circumstances, but the last time I used one (on a torch), it was 16 characters long. If, on your first try, you're 200% (Yes, 200%) positives that you entered it correctly, but it does not work, then try just once more (300%). If it still fails, then stop and contact WIND... you get only 10 chances before it is locked for always at his home carrier.

    # You have really need to have your home SIM up and running on their network. Then follow the FAQ to enter the code. After that, you can stop and use other SIMs.

    Good luck!
