  Go into your particular inbox (Gmail, Hotmail...) via the Blackberry hub. Press search (magnifying glass), then next to the magnifying glass, you will see a triangle. Tap it and you will see the options you need.

  In the folder view, by typing the letter M, you filter files to display only those that begin with the letter M.  It would work the same way, regardless of the letter on which you typed.

  To find this message by hand, go in your Messages Inbox, press menu and select search. You can then enter the search terms, such as 'Fingerprint' to find the message.

  Hello. Greetings. I have a question that is quite tricky and can not understand of I'vedone research on the internet with different keywords. So here's my situation:

  0. my old phone is Blackberry Bold 9780. Last OS I use is Blackberry 7.0 I think (already have Wi - Fi free call)

  1. I bought a new phone, Sony Xperia Z1. I opened the BBM on it. Then I entered Blackberry ID , I've used previously.

  2. after entering my Blackberry ID, I got transferred all BBM stuff in my Xperia Z1, including the contacts and groups that I have in my Bold 9780.

  3. I just tested for send messages in my Xperia Z1 BBM contact list and ask which showed my PIN. He said that only displayed a new (7xxxxxx), instead of my old one (2xxxxxx).

  4. Meanwhile, since I bought Xperia Z1, I have kept my old phone Bold 9780 without wiping or same nothing change and just leave it as its last condition without SIM card (it says "Insert SIM card"). Since I never used data connections , I still have my old BBM chats and contacts in there.

  5. my 5 year old son accidentally use my Bold 9780 of BBM and sent a lot of messages in people in contacts of the Bold 9780 BBM, although he did not use the SIM card. And Yes, the messages he sent chat appears with the icon of the clock (pending to be delivered). But I really hope that the messages will not be sent because the words are not necessary to read.

  Question (s):

  * What happens if I turn on my Wi - Fi connection for my Bold 9780?

  * Will be messages sent from my Bold 9780?

  * Should I just immediately remove contacts on BBM to my Bold 9780? (because I know all the messages I've sent to people will be deleted as well if I delete their contact, and it works)

  * ... And last confusion is, if I have to delete my Bold 9780 BBM contacts, should I remove my Z1 xperia as well since I use the same Blackberry ID to avoid messages sent in other?

  -nothing will happen if you turn on wifi. You can able to browse the internet, but you will not be able to use BlackBerry data services.
  -No, the messages will not be delivered as there is no sim card and your BBM contacts were automatically transferred to the mobile network to your new phone.
  -no need. It not there no more account BBM in your old. You're good, no worries.

  First the screen of my Blackberry would freeze upwards and it wouldn't let me do anything for a few minutes, so I had to take my battery out and then after that I took out my battery and put back in place he would have himself cut and wouldn't load, it would load at halfway then stop and try again. I use to have to take out the battery for a few days before its in so that he can turn it on but one day it does at all so I thought it was the battery but I just bought a new battery and its charging again to half way and stop and then try to load again, but it won't turn. Does anyone know what the problem with it... I have to wait a few days before you put the new battery in once again and then it will work or is the phone itself and I just need to get a new one?  Help, please.

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the whole 4h15m process, your BB should stay connected to a good charger (not the USB PC):

  1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
  2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
  3. Remove the battery
  4. Wait 15 minutes
  5. Insert the battery
  6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

  This has been known to "revive" some BBs.

  It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

  1. Get a known good and already fully charge battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
  2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

  The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. I realize that you have purchased a new battery, but please understand that 'new' and 'well known' are not necessarily the same thing... While it's rare, that a new battery cannot be subject to default. The best thing to do is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... to Exchange batteries and see what happens.

  In addition, the next thing is to try to start safe mode:

  It will take several attempts to get the combination of keys ESC (press/release/hold) OK, so be patient. When properly in Safe Mode, thinking... what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  Otherwise, your next steps become much more radical.

  Hello.  I'm new here and this is my first post.

  Last week, I receive text messages that disappear before I had the chance to read.  In addition, people have told me they sent me text messages, but I never.  I sent text messages to myself from another phone just to confirm that I am receiving them and that they are removed until I get to read.  Even when I delete everything in my Inbox, I still have the same problem.  My phone also receive emails and SMS.

  You are facing constraints of memory in your device. Perform the following steps-

  1. Give a soft reset by removing the battery for 30 sec.
  2. Check the amount of memory is free in your device to Options -> status -> free memory. To view all aspects of database go to Option -> status -> click on the Menu button and then select the database size
  3. Remove the less frequently used application. To remove go to Options -> Advanced Options -> Applications -> highlight the application you want to delete-> click Menu , and then select Remove
  4. If you stored your image in the memory of the device to move them to your media card

  First thing? Check the file without Options > status, what is the number to the free file?

• Card memory blackBerry Smartphones can help with problem memory curve?

  I had (apparently common on this forum) problems with memory on my blackberry curve 8310.  I use Missing Sync MarkSpace software to synchronize with my macbook.  The software works very well, but he has to use too much memory.  I added a memory card hoping that it would help this problem... but the map does not appear to be used.  I have no more than two or three rings and a few photos.  I think that the software and my contacts/calendar to take up space.  I can't load this kind of applications or data on the card?  How?   So, this coupled with the information of KB of RIM, would say that BB must be compatible with SDHC cards... because they are (according to the level of the OS) compatible with SD cards 4 GB in size (for vs SD SDHC cutoff point.

  Hi all - I am very confused... I want to get a memory card 16 GB for my new storm... BUT

  What I have to buy a "Micro SDHC memory card"... or a 'SDHC memory card '... like, form I would say the two are different things... (they are certainly different) is about half the price of the old... not - where I looked (obvious or other) tells me EXACTLY I need... :-/

  I want to make sure I have the right buy!... so to hear from someone who has actually got a card of memory of a storm and who can tell which one it was and that it works... would be great!

  You certainly want a microSDHC card.  Cell phones usually use cards microSD (or microSDHC) while the cameras use SD (or SDHC) cards.  A SDHC card simply does not fit into your phone (it's too much).

  I use also cards microSDHC SanDisk class 6 with my Storm and they have been great.  While I only used 8 GB cards, I know another person who got a 16 GB microSD card, and he was very happy with it.

  If you bought a pin code customized for BBM you can keep that. However, the BlackBerry pin code does not change. There is a white label under the battery that has your PIN on it. No way to change that.
