BlackBerry Smartphones Application memory depletes the Torch 9810, OS 7.1
Hello
For a few weeks with in a day or two, the free Application reaches 10 MB memory. Rebooting frees memory, but just for a day. I have questions-
1. is there a way to increase the memory of the Application? Other messages it does not seem possible, but thought I'd ask.
2. How can I find what is stored in the memory of the App? I have more than 120 MB that says: "Other" in "Application Management" (about 80 MB for app). This 120Mo continues to grow over time. Do not know if I have accidentally stored anythinh here, but not there at - there a way to know what is this 'other '?
3. is there a tool that can find what app or anything else is causing the memory increase?
4. is it possible that some app has led to this problem or I recorded a video, etc. to the memory of the App?I always had more than 100 MB of free space in the memory application in recent weeks. I removed all of the apps I have installed in the past weeks, but nothing helped.
Any help is appreciated... Sorry for the long post, wanted to be more descriptive as possible ;-)
See you soon,.
VikramYou have two questions. First of all, 65 MB of free space of the Application memory is not much. Something is to take memory. Load any new request when it started? Do you use a card multimedia for pictures and videos?
Second, OS earlier than I posted have problems with the 'leak' free memory down to 0 over a period of time. At how fast depends on how much is free to start. I would like to update your operating system with the version in the instructions below:
1. first download the OS for the 9810 here: https://swdownloads.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=BE1DF9A5D08724971F64A511E24FC904
2 make a manual backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close at the end Office Manager and disconnect it from BlackBerry. You can get the BlackBerry Desktop Software here http://us.blackberry.com/apps-software/desktop/
3. download the OS from step 1 of the file on the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." Also, check the following locations for the vendor.xml file and delete all instances of the file:
On Windows Vista/7, go to C:\Users\YOUR_USER\AppData\Roaming\Research in XML Motion\BlackBerry\Loader (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)
On Windows XP, go to C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USER\Application is In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML (where 'YOUR_USER' is your user name)
5. connect the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader. Follow the prompts to update the operating system to the new version you downloaded.
Once this is done take a look at the free memory space. What is - what now?

Hello everyone, could someone tell me where exactly is the address book / contacts stored by default in the BB Torch 9800, IE; in memory of mobile phone, the SIM card (I don't think) or in the micro SD card card (multimedia card)? Thanks a lot for your answers. Best regards, Eric
Edit: Deleted email. At any time if you provide personal information to any other Member of the community. Please visit the Community Terms & Conditions and community support guidelines for more information.
More precisely in the device memory. Not in the media card or the SIM card.
It is where they are stored by default and cannot be changed.
You can save contacts to your SIM card, but only one number per name, no address, no email address, etc.

For the map of support, simply exchange it for another everywhere where you bought the device.
See the link below to download it and follow these simple instructions.
Make a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.
1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.

Every time someone asks how to reload Blackberry OS, the GET directed to this website: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp which contains all the operating systems for different carriers who sold blackberries. Upstairs, he says that this is for people who didn't buy their phone DIRECTLY from RIM, with no dependence of the carrier. So, where's the stock, no carrier OS if I want to reload my Blackberry that I bought from the RIM, directly and without SIM card?
I have a Blackberry 8300, if you were wondering.
You can use ONE of these versions of the operating system of your device, regardless of the carrier.
Operating system device provided are "released" by specific carriers once that they are certified and trained to their support technicians, but still, you are able to load any carrier the same model by following the instructions below.
See the link below to download it and follow these simple instructions.
First find your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.
http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jspMake a backup of your device first, using Desktop Manager > backup. Close the office at the end Manager.
1. download the OS files to the PC then install on the PC by running (double click) the downloaded file.
2. go in c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml." (You might have another Vendor.xml file hiding on your computer.) Open Windows Explorer, and in organizing key (on Windows 7, there are similar tools for Vista and XP) click on 'folder and search options. On the display tab, make sure that your computer is configured to display the hidden files and folders. Once you have done this, look for your drive C:\ "Vendor.xml".)
3. plug in the BB and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file.* Starting with later versions of the OS6, there are now three copies of the SELLER. XML
C:\Program Files\Fichiers Research In Motion\AppLoader (for 32-bit Windows XP/Vista/7)
==========OR============
C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader (for 64-bit Windows Vista/7)
C:\Documents and Settings\ * name * \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
C:\Documents and Settings\ * name * \Application Data\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
You can also just search of the SELLER. XML. ensure that you choose the ADVANCED SEARCH and include hidden files. It should display the file in three places. Delete all copies that it finds.Note: Some users may be concerned they will void their warranty of device by loading an OS from another carrier. There is really nothing to fear. Please read more information about it here: http://www.port3101.org/power-users/296-blackberry-os-upgrade-including-betas-myths-dispelled.html

BlackBerry smartphones where and how to log-in to my blackberry id
IM new blackberry torch and im so lost. I managed to log-in before my BlackBerry id a few times maybe by chance, but I can't find it when I want it... where I should look?
whenever I want to get an app im always asked to log-in, but my ID is not accepted even if I reset it successfully. When I try to connect you again to get an app it always send an error.
can someone help me pls...
Thank you
First of all, a lot of people seem to have problems with connection and BlackBerry ID that are not accepted. I know that BlackBerry e-mail servers have declined somewhat recently, perhaps this is related.
To connect to AppWorld, open AppWorld on your phone. Click on My World in the lower corner. From this screen, press the menu to the left of the trackpad button and open a session from there. Once connected, you can choose the account information by pressing this same menu key again. This is where you can change your password if necessary.

BlackBerry Smartphones where can I sell my BB off Ebay?
Hiya,
I wanted to update phones, witch, I like every 6 months and not every 2 years, lol. I have a BlackBerry Bold 9700 in like -new condition. I still have the box and manual, and it is unlocked. This is a BB from Tmobile, but like I said, it is no longer blocked. Anyone know where I can sell it (other that Ebay, I got ripped out there once)? I was looking at Amazon.com and there can do, but I know not how it is course, my phone model, and condition, is in and be unlocked I didn't know of any cheaper than US $250.00 US $. I was willing to put $ 200.00 even just to get rid of more quickly, because once I have buy this other phone I'll be BROKE. I'm going to get a factory unlocked BB Torch. Basically my question is, does anyone have experience with the sale of phones (or other) on the internet, and where you did and it was safe? If anyone has one of this info, I would be grateful, if not, well thank you for reading my post in any case.
I hope to hear soon, someone
Patrick, AKA Kn0t
I have bought and sold several on ebay, never a problem.
Like what, just do your homework, know your buyer and be wise.
There's always Craigslist.

Thank you

EDGE of blackBerry Smartphones and now Inernet on TORCH 9800
Hello
I really EDGE like this on my phone but when I open a page I have this:
It is not included as part of your plan current service of navigation via the cellular network. To browse the web, you should use the Wi - FI or contact your service provider to change your service plan.
I can also use Blackberry messenger and no message can be sent.
What should I do? I have the blackberry torch 9800 with ATM mobilis Algeria and EDGE runs correctly on mobile?
OK... Well this is only half of what they should have done; just confirming that you have an account does not solve your problem. Think of it this way... you PAY for ALL your services and ALL your formal support... you should be very angry (with them) that they deliver or you...

BlackBerry smartphones where wifi-call as a bundle version 7.1 1149
WARNING: all terms translated in freestyle from German to English
Since I've updated my bb bold 9900 bundle of version 7.1 os 1149 I wonder where it is here:
of docs.blackberry... Change_your_Wi-Fi_calling_preferences_
or simply: where are these parameters that I can't find as described?
I'm at orange Switzerland... is because of the provider, that he is not displayed?
WiFi calling, also known as the "UMA" for some, is turned on or off by the mobile operator. Not all carriers provide this function.

BlackBerry Smartphones where are my pictures
I can't find some of my photos. Some of them stored in the Device Manager, and then some are shops in the media card. When I pull up in my pictures, I get only to see the pictures in the media in the device. Now, I don't see even the media card link? Where are they?
Thank you.
You are probably well connected the USB cable to the PC, and if so, your card with active Mass Storage is not visible SINCE the BlackBerry itself at that time here.
Unplug the USB cable from the BB, and your photos and multimedia card should reappear.
If not, look at the Options > Media Card. Do you want to show your card media present on the device?
