How to move photos on the media card sim card

Hello

That's what I did. Bit stupid if you ask me. I checked with several other users and they all get the same results, so either it's the only answer or that the question was not correctly asked by me

Thanks for the help

  • BlackBerry smartphones cannot get my Blackberry Curve pictures on my computer.

Hello. Well, I took tons of pictures this summer with my new curve blackebrry. and now, I thought it would be a good time to download. I thought that it would be no problem since I just bought a new media card. So firstly, I inserted my media card in my computer using an SD card adapter. I was able to open Roxio, [and yes I've heard of how roxio sucks, but if you buy a media card and may contact a representative of BB, it should work pretty well in fact] and he had my songs and other things on it, but not my pictures and said that my filter settings does not match or I had not saved on my camera. To remedy this, I tried my USB cable. I tried Roxio, but it always even gave them answer. So I opened my computer, then my removable disk, then blackberry, then pictures icon. He had my pictures on it, but when I tried to watch shows them a pop-up. He said that my photos have been corrupted or damaged. And I don't know how he got that way. So im asking if theres something I could have done and I do ALSO email. Because it takes too much time and for some reson it doesn't work just on my phone. Thank you in advance for the answers, and they would be appreciated [:]

Here are a few things that you must be aware:

    1. Make sure that you set your blackberry to store images on the card.  You can do the following: settings, Options, multimedia card - check that the card holder is 'ON'.
    2. Go to the camera icon and select it.  When the device has been activated, click the menu button and check that the 'Pictures Store' option is selected for 'Media Card'.  This will ensure that all of your photos will be stored on the card instead of using the internal memory.
    3. In addition, when you send a picture, it will take several minutes (as you already know) because the file size is considerable.  To resolve this problem, you can always change the resolution to make the pictures smaller.

Why your photos were corrupted - I have no idea.  What I suggest you do is connect the bb to your computer via the usb cable (provided that you turn on Mass Storage Mode Support), then access them via Windows Explorer - NOT Roxio.  Also, you may very well have a bad card.  Going further, I would like to format the card try it again.  I hope this helps.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry message memory and SIM card are full! Please delete some SMS messages.

    Hello

typical - just that I was looking to upgrade, I get the following message on my Torch 9800:

"BlackBerry message memory and SIM card are full! Please delete some SMS. »

There is a lot of space on the card in the device memory and press. I have deleted many texts and have removed the battery (several times), but the error keeps coming back.

I am able to text but can't seem to receive - although copies of text messages that I send continue to be saved. I'm having no problem with other forms of e-mail (for example, WhatsApp, Twitter).

I looked at 3465 Knowledge Base, which advises to uncheck the option "Leave Messages on SIM card", but this has been disabled throughout. (I checked it and saved out of curiosity, which allowed me to receive text only test that I then just sent myself, but after the error message is returned and no other text would come through...) I came back to this area being disabled).

Any help to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

When you say you deleted text messages, how have you deleted and how do you think that you have?

I suggest making a backup with BB Desktop Software. Then, you can use it to do a selective removal of just the basis of message text and see if you can receive messages after that. If you did the backup you can always restore text messages on the device if you want to, although he will crush all new messages on the device.

  • SMS Multimedia Smartphones blackBerry messages?

[Sorry - in addition to the audit that should read 'how to activate MMS'?]

    Hello

Any new owner of BB (8130 Pearl). I have a Telus Faves 35 plan with unlimited access to e-mail / e-mail module and have a question about the SMS Messaging. The 35 Faves plan includes 'unlimited picture and video messaging with your Fave 5' (which I was contacting). When I receive a multimedia message (text with the image attached), I get only the text over a URL to TELUSMobility.com where I should go to see the image as an attachment. I thought that this image would make it online in the text? Under the camera application, there is a function of sending but no option to send a picture to a cell phone - email.

Still unaware on the sematics but on my old Nokia pay-as-you-go 3235i that images in messages SMS always rendered inline. I have used the wrong approach to send and receive multimedia?

    Thank you

    Scotty

This due to the fact that your SIM card or your mobile phone number is not configured for MMS service. Messages you receive means that your SIM card is not attached with your carriers MMSC.

To activate MMS service contact your operator. They will do the rest, and only then will you be able to send MMS from your BlackBerry. This problem is not related to BlackBerry.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry protect work if SIM is removed?

I have lost my phone, unfortunately it was lost in an area that aren't always cellular services (basement).

    that complicates things.

My question is.  If I buy a new SIM card to my old blackberry and switch my service to the SIM card, BB Protect will always be able to locate my phone.  I guess since the service is moved to a different device, the answer is no. also if someone removes the card SIM BB Protect will be able to locate the device?  Yet once, I guess NOT

    Thank you

    Your assumptions are correct.

No power supply (battery dead or out), protect itself does not work.

SIM removed, protect the will does not work.

SIM off, protect the will does not work.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry phones showing invalid sim.

Any ideas... phone showing "invalid sim" and so out of action... even at 3 phones different blackberry still ok when put on a blackberry not. Phone of her husband so no access to email, contacts, etc without sim works fine. Thanks in advance. Assuming that we need a supplier to replace the sim card?

Hello! If the sim card is old, you might need replacement. A sim card error message that does not resolve with a soft or hard, starting usually indicates a problem with the SIM itself.  Do you know if the sim card is 32 k or 64 k? The only difference between the two (as far as I know), is that the 64 k can automatically detect the network stronger. If I were you, I had to contact my operator to replace the sim card.

  • Smartphones from blackBerry error message "Insert SIM Card"

I can't get my phone to work due to the error message.  This is a brand new SIM card and should work.  I used a similar card a year ago for a blanket to Costa Rica, and it worked fine.  I took the battery and SIM card many times but also tried to disable the wifi but no luck.

OK, then check this KB and see if something he recommends is to value:

    • KB10824 Data connection or insert SIM card rejected

BTW - have confirmed that this specific BB is even compatible with the network of ice? For example, if the BB manages a set of frequencies still the carrier uses different frequencies, so there is nothing that can be done about it that the BB would simply not compatible with the ICE network. Note that I don't know the answer you need here... you will need find features in the frequency of the BB as well as those who use ice.

    Good luck!

  • Problem repair failed card blackBerry multimedia Smartphones

Hi all... So I have a memory of 4 GB and everything disappeared from him... Music, videos, pictures, voice notes and I got really important things back that I need them... Whenever I click Yes on the repair it says failure of repair... What should I do to get my back things help please thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

Probably, there is nothing that will recover your data lost... which, of course, is the purpose of backups regular (for example, every week, when I use the Desktop software to back up my BB, I also, via the mass storage Mode, copy all the content of the device and memory card on my PC support).

In any event, what you could try is, with a PC and a card reader, see if the card can be read from here. If so, then your data is safe, and the BB itself is unable to correctly interface with the card. Data are not there, maybe you can try a few PC... data recovery tools you need to get those specifically for SD memory, which is significantly different from the traditional magnetic disk drive memory.

Otherwise, you want to get a good known (for example, already works in a same BB) card and see if the behavior persists on your BB. If Yes, then it is your BB itself that is causing problems. If you have warranty, you want to find support through this channel.

    Good luck!

When I play music on my blackberry pearl, that the sound is really low, even if the volume is completely, I hear no music. Can anyone help please?

  • BlackBerry multimedia Smartphones lets you save on the device

I put a 4 GB memory card in.  Since then, my medai (images and videos) are saved on the memory of the device.  I went from 120 MB to 85 mb application memory since I captured a video and some photos, but my media card memory remains the same (total space: 3.7 GB, free space: 3.7 GB).  Any ideas?

BB is tiny computers... so they have memory leaks. After a time, AppMemory degrades... and a reboot (batt-pull or PS) is necessary to clear things upwards... just like a PC.

However, if you have a stat for AppMemory, then your economy of the media to the device or memory card support has not contributed to your situation AppMemory. In multimedia applications, there are default to choose as the storage location of the recorded media.

Good luck and let us know!

  • Smartphones from blackBerry a transfer contacts sim card to the phone?

Hi all, I have an old SIM contacts on this issue how would synchronize these contacts on the phone, so I did not hasve to spend hours typing all contacts

Unfortunately, it's just how it works. SIM cards have a much less robust AddressBook that does the BB; they store an entry to a phone number. As such, when they are imported into a more robust address book (as BB), you end up with this result. The only thing to do is to get in a PIM on PC (for example, Outlook) and make handling it, then re - sync back to the BB and it's going to be clean again.

    See you soon!
