  I downloaded BlackBerry App World to my Storm 9530 and installed free applications base 4-5 (truly righteous bookmarks) to external websites.  I also downloaded 7G of music (on my 8G card).  Finally, I added Google Maps app.  I have the latest driver software.

  Now my device is so slow that when my phone rings and I have to try and answer it, I get the dreaded waiting clock.  He never picks up the call before going to the virtual machine.  What a pain in the...

  Whenever random strange behaviors creep, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  Looks like something is corrupt, as wipe you it I loaded the OS to a newer version if possible.

  Manual device OS upgrade instructions:

  1. start by searching for your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.

  4. go into c:\program files Research in motion\apploader and delete the file named "vendor.xml."

  5. This step is not necessary unless there is a problem on the next steps. Use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup), then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) then proceed to step 6

  6 remove the internet connection for PC and reboot the PC.

  7. plug the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file was in.

• Question on logic programming behind the the Twitter app to display secondary listviews

  I tried to find how I would implement the Twitter app drag function where you're displaying the main power and can slide to the right to view a list of food trends.  At first I thought maybe create a Listview with two ListItemComponents and then adding a listview inside each with my data but I have problems getting whatever it IS displayed.  I feel like maybe I'm overloading it?

  Ideas or comments on maybe an easier way to do this.  I currently have a little a segmented control that replaces the listview data source and it works, but I think this new way would look nicer and more intuitive.

  I use ListView with layout LeftToRight and SingleItem flick and works fine
