BlackBerry Z10 user has die hard BB which is DISAPPOINTED by the slow pace of the Z10

CONS: Text msg take between 5-10 sec to go through and sometimes longer if I switch screens. Sometimes, they go through if I receive an incoming text at the same time. The battery life is terrible. He is constantly disconnect my email where it's always asking me to type my password. It will stop automatically. The screen gets distorted when I turn side ways phone sometimes. With the 9800 you could make of the appellant and switch profiles automatic power on/off feature. I got the Z10 the day he came and try it changed to another because of these problems and it still does the same thing. Another thing, nobody I know has the Z10 or a bb also, so I can't use yet features bbm. Pros: It looks good, has interesting features and a few more better apps.

My phone looks the best there never work. What we ended up doing a master reset and there was an update, you should have since you have guessed already. So, you can try and see if it helps

Now whenever I update my software I need to change the global variable where I store the version number, and then when I build I have in hand, open the properties and change the version number for the executable file and the installer. Is there an easy way to make these as all corresponding automatically?

  • BlackBerry BlackBerry classic classic has not survived a plunge, how to put the backup on a new device.

Like I said in the title of the topic, my classic BlackBerry did not survive a swim in the toilet. I did all the stuff found on the internet such as put in a sealed air box full of rice for 48 hours, but he simply no longer lights.

So fortunately I seem to have a backup file .bbb on my desktop since 12/18/2015.

    1. is there a way to restore the data in a usable format (just the file .png etc)?

    2. is there a way to restore the data on a new classic of BlackBerry? I guess I can do that by choosing switching in BlackBerry link devices, connect the device again and put the old backup on that? I probably should update the new device to the latest version of BB10 before you transfer.

In native mode. Design of the BBB file intent should be used as source for restore to another device of BB. No other function is natively. But there are several 3rd party PC utilities that can extract the data and make it into a format usable otherwise. Never need such a utility, I have no recommendation... but a few seconds on your favorite Internet search engine should reveal many options from which you can choose (and many of them I believe are free).

This is the intention of the exact design of the BBB... file to use as the source for restore to another device of BB. Reference:

  • BlackBerry smartphone error has occurred. Error code: 0x8004fcd2. See the documentation.

I get the above error when trying my calendar synchronised. I already tried the following:

    • Hard reboot of the device
    • Re-setup of office software
    • sync settings reconfiguration

    Help, please.

    Hey ritavanmolle,

    Thanks for the quick response.

The next steps we will do is to determine if the data is bad in Outlook or in the camera.

    1. open BlackBerry Desktop Software, create a backup.

    2. go into device > delete data in BlackBerry Desktop Software.  Choose the selected data, click Calendar all and erase the data.

    3. go to synchronize in BlackBerry Desktop and click reset configuration.  Then re-setup the synchronization.

Test synchronization and let me know if you get quickly with the same error.

  • BlackBerry Z10 help BB steal, has failed to protect

I had a Z10 HAD. Until the day I had a little accident and someone stole.

The SIM card is blocked, the police informed but we all know that they will not go start a hunt at the national man for the thief, so everything is futile at this end.

I am very hopeful that Blackberry Protect would do anything, nothing, but it was of no use. Seriously now I do not understand... Blackberry phones start after reboot up to this as connected. The phone is registered in my name with Blackberry, so how can someone possibly re-record and BB doesn't even know a thing?

The Protect everything is useless if it doesn't even recognize that the phone has an owner, the guy who is supposed to use the phone not any random email that anyone who challenges.

All that I want is to get just a message to the thief that I wil pay to return to its desired location and that's it.

And btw, I loved this phone. Really ingenious OS, excellent material, robust and everything.

Should I lose hope and give up? Or is there sort of BB could help me?

You asked: "the thing that I don't understand is why its good to go again, BB should give an error and tell the new user his fly when the person enters a new e-mail ID." What is the logic behind this? »

The logic behind this is that if the legitimate owner of the phone forget password (and I see this from time to time on the forums) they will lose their data, but not their phone, or in any way make their phone useless. In addition, to get a 'warning' the phone will be reported and you can do it now.  It's just that the phone (I hope) gets blocked.

There is another method, not sure that someone is using now.  Many years ago, my wife has forgotten his password on his Nokia and exhausted all his 'essays '.  And then the locked phone as if it was brick.  She had to call Nokia USA and prove he was her phone.  Then they sent him a unlock code from time and she was back in business.  I imagine that Nokia is real sick of dealing with this method.

  • BlackBerry Z10 BLACKBERRY WORLD - there was a connection problem, Blackberry World has to close.

    Hi guys,.

Does anyone know how to get my Blackberry world working again please?

I did a traction battery-same error message appears

I did a complete reset (only had this new phone for 16hours) - same error message

I did the 'music Soft, three points, clicking on Blackberry world' - the same error message

    Help, please...

    UPDATE:

My blackberry world works now and I did not do anything else to do the sorting. It seems that regular maintenance is done about it. • BlackBerry Z10 Z10 autoloader has failed/blocked, Bricked device

My STL100 Z10-3 came out, and refuses to return. I had no problem at all with him beforehand. I decided to download the software on my computer and do a restore, but it did not work. I think that really it has made things worse. When you install the operating system it always stop at the same point (loading system software). My phone would connect green then starts to blink red when it time to install the operating system. The model is 'flashing, blinking eyes, stop' type of flashing cycle. The computer tells me to unplug and then try again. I have tried to reinstall via the BlackBerry, autoloader and the web link but the same results each time. I did it again and again more than 10 times with the two battery in and battery, different usb ports different, different computers, usb cables.

I'd appreciate any help. Thank you very much for your time.

Then it is time to contact your point of sale to provide you options guarantee or if your device is in warranty, buy a new.

  • BlackBerry Z10 Incorrect user agent

When I use my Z10 to go to a Web site, I get the incorrect User Agent.

    I get the following:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537,1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/537,1 of Chrome/21.0.1180.75

I get the same results using my cell network and wifi.

Here is the site I use to test:

To disable it and restore the user agent of the Z10 own, press the overflow menu (three points, lower right) and go in the settings, and then choose the developer tools page and disable the desktop Mode it.

Some questions please. 1. can I use the phone sim with my mobile carrier in pakistan, without hassle. Last thing I want is I buy the phone, and it does not work 2 back home. Recovery of DNG issue: I have photos stored on an external hard drive which have previously been imported into Lightroom and converted to DNG.  The laptop on which I was running Lightroom died and I had to replace the hard drive and rebuild the computer.  In the process of my Lightroom program and catalog related to these images have been lost.  When I re-associate these photos with my new installation of Lightroom and a new catalogue is there a way to retrieve the keywords or other changes or metadata catalogue Mountaga?  Is any of this information embedded with the imge DNG file or was it only in the cataloght lost on my failing hard drive? I re-import just as if it were new images with no prior treatment of Lightroom?

By default, LR saves all changes in the catalog, and that applies to any type of file.

Optionally, you can save changes to the file as well, for raw files owners, this will create a xmp file - for DNG that changes are going to be cooked in the file, without additional xmp file.

But it does not default. Go to the catalog and parameters under the control of metadata automatically save changes to XMP.

Unless you do this, the changes are saved only in the catalog.

    Hope this makes things clearer.
