Block cursor?

Hello, just turned on HP mini 110 1030NR running Windows XP Home edition of the husband.  Purchased in 2009, very limited use, not programs never added.  Nothing new at all in setting up the plant.  The computer starts correctly, but the first movement of the cursor it crashes at the same time the 'my computer' and 'documents' icons.  Click with the left button to try and free the causes of cursor to rewrite by a constant stream of "mmmmmm", right click folder names result in the desktop menu and a load clicking noise.  Clicking on the other icons is reflected in the documents folder, however, it is in constant flow of opening and I can't access all the documents.  Make a right click on the items in the system tray appears to be functional.    I will try to reinstall the driver for the touchpad, but it really looks a bit more offensive than a corrupt driver.

Please help us if you can.

PS, the touchpad driver reinstall did not resolve.

I'm blushing.  Thank you.

    Hi Jane,

    Thanks for the question!

    I understand that you are facing problems with games and also lost favorites.

    Quick questions:

    1 did you changes to the computer before the show?

    2. what version of web browser do you use?

    We will try these steps and check:

    Method 1:

    You can try to uninstall and reinstall the game and check from or disable Windows features:

    1. click the Start button, select Control Panel, click programs and then click turn on turn Windows features on or off. Administrator permission. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    2. develop the Games folder and uncheck the solitary, restart your computer and select the check box.

    3. to activate a Windows feature, select the check box next to the feature. To turn a Windows feature off, clear the check box. Click OK.

    Check this link for more information:

    Turn on or off Windows features

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/turn-Windows-features-on-or-off

    You can update the display drivers on the manufacturer's Web site and check.

    Method 2:

    You can check the Favorites in the user folder and check if you can read the same thing.

    Favorites would be located at the following location:

    \Favorites C:\Users\[user name]

  • Satellite L50-B-127 - some keys are not working and touchpad blocks constantly

    Before leave here an apology because I'm Portuguese and my English level is very low.

    My computer is a Toshiba Satellite L50 B 127

    Lately, I noticed some anomalies which appeared me on my computer (which should take about a year). When I speak of anomalies refer to the keys you use rarely, and at this stage do not work (example: arrow left, Z,...)
    Not to mention that I noticed that my touchpad is constantly blocking, that is to say after the buttons to work, the cursor does not move, being sometimes more than 20 seconds to wait for the cursor to return to normal.

    If anyone has had this problem or knows the cause and the solution? Recognizing a response as soon as possible

    Hello everyone, I'm here to post my problem that has caused me a lot of problems and troubles and especially apologize because that throughout this text should meet several errors since my English level is low

    My computer is a toshiba satellite L50 B 127 and has a little more than a year of use

    Lately, I found some anomalies in my computer including some keys from one day to the other crashed, these keys are not widely used (arrow to the left, z, dash). In addition, my touchpad has been constantly block of minutes in minutes, even if the buttons on the touchpad still work, the truth is that the block cursor for a few seconds and then comes back to work as if nothing had happened. In 10 minutes, however this situation occurred four times

    I would be grateful if someone knew the reason why this happens or even the solution to answer me as soon as possible

  • Cursor of return of (nested) function - PLS-00201: identifier of the CURSOR must be declared

    Hello

    I have a function in which I use nested functions (because I don't want to create objects explicit / external, it is a requirement that I don't have any effect on / I don't want to change).

    In my external function, I use cursor by declaring them in IS-section and then open using the loop for instruction.

    In my inner function / nested, I also want to use a cursor.

    There I also said one like I did in an external function within the section IS of the nested function.

    SQL Developer complains about syntax error (';: wait ").

    When you try to compile the whole process I get the following error:

    "Error (97,14): PLS-00201: identifier 'CURSOR' must be declared '.

    It's my external function starts as:

    CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION FN_GENERATE_QUERY_PMT (instance_id_in IN NUMBER, language_in IN VARCHAR2)
    RETURN CLOB
    IS
         CURSOR c_outer IS
          SELECT * FROM BLA;

    When it comes to my internal function with the section IS of the external function and stands (inner functions should be at the end of the Section IS to stand behind the statements of variable and cursor, otherwise there will be an error):

    FUNCTION nfn_get_value (num_in IN NUMBER)
          RETURN SYS_REFCURSOR
        IS
          SYS_REFCURSOR c_inner IS
          SELECT *
          FROM BLUB;
        BEGIN
          RETURN c_where_in;
        END;

    After that there will be another nested function, then the BEGIN section will appear.

    When looking for 'function returns cursor' I can only find solutions where the cursor is declared in section IS (sometimes its an AS-section o_O * worried *) but wihtoug select, just declare type.

    The cursor focus is added in the Begin block to the way open for instruction. But I don't want to open it yet. I want to open the cursor using the loop statement. I am able to reopen? used can it be two sliders while one will not be closed properly?

    How to fix to return a cursor that I can use in my external function.

    Advice would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

    First of all, I found this thread:

    http://asktom.Oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0:P11_QUESTION_ID:5241391331097

    said the following:

    2) a ref cursor is just a cursor. a ref cursor is just a cursor. a ref cursor is just a cursor.... (keep saying it over and over

    But fortuneately I also found this post:
    http://asktom.Oracle.com/pls/asktom/f?p=100:11:0:P11_QUESTION_ID:14188501024541

    where thankfully someone shared her knowledge with others:

    In view of this block of code - you may see more "prominent" unlike - any

    How many times you run this block - cursor C will always be select * twice.  The ref

    cursor is not guaranteed.

    Another difference is that a ref cursor can be returned to a client.  a plsql 'cursor cursor.

    cannot be returned to a client.

    Another difference is a cursor can be global - a ref cursor cannot (you cannot set

    them outside a procedure / function)

    Another difference is a ref cursor can be passed to the subroutine - a subroutine

    cursor cannot be.

    This explains why the samples seem always fair with open (Ref) cursor within the section to START.

    I expeceted this (as I wrote in the first post) and ask if the course of opening will be sent back twice or just redirect. I suppose it it reassigns who were just a little in performance.

    But I can't yet find this good explanation of this type anywhere within the documentation and of course I didn't read it all. Shame on me, but I'm always engaged by internet download.

    I would be grateful if someone could say my last statement and leave a comment on double-distribution of the refcursors has reopened.

    Thanks in advance.

  • Assign dynamic statement declaring the block or block start

    Hi all

    For code below, if I attribute the select statement in the section declare for the corresponding variable, it will improve performance.

    For cust_veh_id we have another block cursor to declare, only partial code is provided.

    What I wanted to.
    declare
    v_addr_chg_stmt                 varchar2(2000) := 'select ''Y''
    FROM cust_addrs addrs
    WHERE customer_id = :v_customer_id
    AND updated_date >:p_end_date
    and rownum = 1';

    declare
    p_end_date                      date;
    v_addr_chg_stmt                 varchar2(2000);
    v_mileage_stmt                 varchar2(2000);
    begin

    select updated_date into p_end_date

    AND added_date > :p_end_date
    and audit_date >= trunc(:p_end_date)

    Not a reason to justify using dynamic SQL.

    YOU NEED a JUSTIFICATION FOR the USE of DYNAMIC CODE. In any language.

    Once again: WHAT is your justification? If you can't provide that, so why you use code Dynamics?

    If you must use dynamic sql statements, performance definition wise to declare the block or start will be better.

    No difference - as no method doesn't change the actual SQL cursor run. Nor did the resulting cursor read faster data blocks.

    PL/SQL also does not care where the variable assignment happens. The difference is so small and so small, it is not relevant to the performance:

  • Satellite M45 - does not start after restoration on the new HARD drive

    I installed a new PATA 250 GB HDD on my pc. The BIOS is configured to boot from CD/DVD. Toshiba Recovery disk started cold, start follow-up statement to load a new system on the HARD drive. He made a (quick) format on the HARD drive, spent 50 minutes, copy the files from the CD to the new HARD drive. Followed the instructions to remove the CD and reboot the pc. Did. I get the Toshiba homepage for 2-3 seconds, and then I get a white screen with a white block cursor in the upper corner of the LH of the screen. Looks like it does not find the block on the HARD disk?
    The procedure of collection 3 times with the same results. Checked the BIOS to check that it is configured to boot from the HARD disk after installation.

    The recovery CD is blank. Never used because I bought the PC (3.5 years). Put the new HARD drive in a USB enclosure and formatted with Windows, tried again with the same result? Put the old HDD, PC starts and works very well. Put the live CD Knoppix and boot from that, works very well. See the new HARD drive.

    Thus, any suggestions are appreciated. The recovery CD Toshiba is defective? In any case to test?

    Thank you
    -J

    Hello

    Sounds like a problem with the recovery disk or the new HARD disk if your computer starts up fine with the old HARD drive...

    In your case before you start a lengthy discussion, you should try a Microsoft Windows disk to install Windows. If he work it seems that only the recovery disk is defective.

    Otherwise, the HARD disk must be defective. Maybe a bad sector or something else

  • How to query for NO_DATA_FOUND

    DB 11g

    I would like to know how get an anonymous to continue treatment block cursor loop once that occurs an error NO_DATA_FOUND.

    I have an anonymous block that throws a message NO_DATA_FOUND.

    The anonymous block is the inclusion of the values of a table into several tables and contains a cursor.

    The original table has a column that contains varchar values, the NEW table contains a column for the number of this information and is a foreign key value. I created a SELECT INTO statement to enter the ID number. It is this SELECT INTO which an error NO_DATA_FOUND.

    I added a line of EXCEPTION to catch the error but apparently bouncing out of code as soon as we get an error NO_DATA_FOUND. I was hoping that it would continue to treat the loop.

    Thank you

    Ben

    It comes to my anonymous block;

    DECLARE
    NUM_HARVEST_PLANNER_ID NUMBER;
    num_assessment_id NUMBER;
    num_blk_id NUMBER;

    BEGIN

      FOR c1 IN
      (SELECT compartments
           , INTERPTEAM
       , COMMENTS
       , PHOTO_DATE
       , interpreted_area
       , forest_block
        FROM X_CELL_REPORT)

      LOOP

        num_blk_id := 1;

      IF c1.forest_block is not null THEN

        SELECT DISTINCT blk_id
          INTO num_blk_id
          FROM x_cell_report A
             , sfm_common.sct_forest_blocks B
         WHERE B.NAME = C1.FOREST_BLOCK;

      END IF;

      INSERT
        INTO DAD_HARVEST_PLANNER (COMPARTMENTS, COUPE_ID, TENURE_ID, CLIENT_ID, ASSESSMENT_TYPE_ID, ASSESSMENT_PURPOSE_ID, blk_id)
      VALUES (c1.compartments, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, NUM_BLK_ID);

      SELECT dad_harvest_planner_seq.currval INTO num_harvest_planner_id FROM dual;

      INSERT
        INTO DAD_ASSESSMENTS (HARVEST_PLANNER_ID, WORKS_COMPLETED_BY, comments, photography_date, ASSESSMENT_METHOD_ID, ASSESSOR_ID)
      VALUES (num_harvest_planner_id, c1.interpteam, c1.comments, c1.photo_date, 1, 1);

      SELECT dad_assessments_seq.currval INTO num_assessment_id  FROM dual;

      INSERT
       INTO DAD_ASSESSMENT_AREA (ASSESSMENT_ID, ASSESSMENT_CATEGORY_ID, assessment_area)

          NUM_BLK_ID := 1;

    END;
    /

    COMMIT;

    The exception/begin/end block must be around the SQL statement that is likely to throw no_data_found.  Something like:

    If c1.forest_block is not null then

    Start

    Select distinct blk_id

    in num_blk_id

    x_cell_report a, sfm_common.sct_forest_blocks b

    where b.name = c1.forest_block;

    exception

    When do_data_found then

    num_blk_id: = 1;

    end;

    end if;

    It seems that you have a trigger on dad_harvest_planner and dad_assessments that fills the column PK (?) using the sequences reference you.  If this is the case, you can save additional calls to the database of sentence your insertions as:

    insert into dad_harvest_planner

    (compartments, coupe_id, tenure_id, client_id, assessment_type_id,

    assessment_purpose_id, blk_id)

    values (c1.compartments, 1, 1, 1, 1, 1, num_blk_id)

    return harvest_planner_id in num_harvest_planner_id;

    That said, I agree with Anton that a single SQL statement would be much more effective, although if there are triggers on the tables, I'm not sure that his proposal is quite correct, but it should give you something to play with.

  • My spry menu disappeared. Help!

    I had my spry menu all planned except for she was not quite long enough. He went doing the width correct, transparent. I see the Properties menu on the elements and in the code and the blue box is here. I can't see the menu itself in Dreamweaver or online. I can't figure out what I changed that does this.

    I added the following to the document (after the link to the sections)

    and he was able to see the menu bar.

    However, while browsing through the stylesheet, I noticed that he had been ill-treated unrecognizable. In this regard, I would recommend starting with a blank style sheet and by changing only the colors and sizes of font style rules existing. Do not add new rules, do not delete the existing rules.

    See how you go and return report problems.

  • With the help of a panel ActiveSelectionObserver

    Hello

    I want to be notified when the user sets the text in a text block cursor, while the face of my plugin is open.

    I did a test with ActiveSelectionObserver added to a group, and that seems to work as expected.

    The problem is that I can't add the ActiveSelectionObserver to my existing slab, because it has a WidgetObserver that uses the IID_IOBSERVER and the ActiveSelectionObserver also uses IID_IOBSERVER. When both are present InDesign does not load the plugin. The application ID is not editable because the two have default implementations of the SDK. I tried to add a second "dummy" Panel, but when I put the dummy Panel to kFalse ' visible' property then the dummy Panel is always visible, but the observer is not wiser. The best way would be to have an own implementation of the ActiveSelectionObserver with a different IID, but I don't know how to do this.

    Additional information: I just found in the file widgetid.h there is an IID_ISELECTIONOBSERVER, so I'll see if that helps.

    Wolfgang

    For subscriptions to the observer notifications can have any IID, you found, you can take IID_ISELECTIONOBSERVER, or a private.

    When widgets are shown / hidden, AutoAttach/AutoDetach of their IID_IOBSERVER is automatically called. If you need a secondary observer on the same pattern, you must ask this other interface within your IID_IOBSERVER observation and follow up calls AutoAttach etc.

    If you put your comment on a non-widget boss, you also need to find a way to call AutoAttach/detach from the outside, for example through an answering machine.

    Calls Applicationo to attach/detach an observer on this subject also have an additional parameter for the same IID IID.

    In the interest of completeness, if you use Cobserve there a separate constructor argument affecting the AttachIID stored internally different IID - use IID_ISELECTIONOBSERVER or whatever you chose in the IID object model. The underlying and partial implementation for the observer for selection should seek from there when he does his attach/detach.

    Finally, you should never re-use the execution ID of the SDK for specific implementations or patron IDs for own bosses. You got your space ID plugin for a reason - to avoid collisions.

  • CSS and IE

    Hi guys,.

    I recently created a website which is an online catalogue of products and services that the customer provides. This is a php/mysql site, but the problem that I am facing is in the CSS. I used the Menu Vertical Spry in Dreamweaver. The style works wonderfully in Google Chrome and Firefox, but for some strange reason IE falls styling and makes the background color of the white spry element and the text is white, so you can't see the items. Please can someone look at the code of http://www.nhsd.co.za and advise how I can solve this problem.

    Thank you

    Owen

    http://www.perfectbody.co.za

    Hello Owen,.

    playingwith your source code, I tried this (only my choice, but you will find the places, where you can change your needs) in your "SpryMenuBarVertical.css":

    UL. MenuBarVertical a
    {
    display: block;
    cursor: pointer;
    background-image: url (.. / images/NHSD_Spry_Menu_Background.png);
    Padding: 0.5em 5px;
    Color: #000;
    / * color: #FFF; * /
    text-decoration: none;

    and

    UL. MenuBarVertical li. MenuBarItemIE
    {
    display: inline;
    f\loat: left;
      background: #0076A 3;
    / * background: #FFF; * /

    Good luck!

  • Spry menu bar: problems in IE and Firefox

    Hello! This is my first time writing the forum. I tried to fix this site and I'm about to break! I found a lot of help just brwosing here in the past and I hope that somone can point me in the right direction.

    I have validated successfully the site using the W3C CSS Validator thinking which might help, but no go. (In fact, everything what was spoil the vertical alignment of elements of menu in Safari, Chrome and other browsers in which the menu used to work properly). I tested on the latest version of Firefox for Mac and testing for IE using the Adobe browser lab.

    Here's what happens:

    • The menu is completely useless in all versions of Internet Explorer.

    • In Firefox the menu seems to work fine except the menu under flash items then disappear a site navigation very frustrating.

    Here is the site: http://oregapet.com/

    Thank you very much!

    GRAMPS! Thank you very much. I really, really appreciate your help. In addition to your suggestion I changed all other instances of z-index that relate to the menu bar. I put them all to 10000 (more than the z-index of 1002 on the fadeslideshow.js). Now it works like a charm and is no longer hides behind the fadeslideshow. Yay!

    Thanks to Nancy O. for his suggestion as well. For anyone having problems woth Spry Menu bar in IE and Firefox especialy: The Spry Menu Bar 2.0 version works much better than the previous version.
