More updates Adobe Flash Player are for reasons of security and stability fixes. However before December 9, Mozilla is not added all versions of Flash to the red list since the beginning of 2013. The reason now is because critical exploits that is in older versions (not with corrections) and Adobe tried to fix with five updates for 16.0 Flash itself since 9 dec. For the past two weeks, whenever I connect to gmail or iGoogle home page I get a message from avast! Antivirus (free version) saying that it has detected a malicious site. This only happens when using Firefox. No message is displayed if I connect using Internet Explorer 8. I use Windows XP Pro Service Pack 3, avast! • How to block messages from 3 KB or under?

I continue to receive waste / * links with words at random in the message if cannot filter by select Word. Messages are always of 3 KB or slot so if I could block all messages of 3 KB and under that would be great. I see there is a rule for 3kb and above, but not under. Regards Tony

You can set up a message rule that when a message is larger than a certain size (e.g., 3kb) and "stop processing more rules".  Then set up a later rule that, "for all messages', move them to a junk folder (created by the user).  Then any message under 3 k will go to a junk e-mail folder, where you can filter.

You can configure a similar rule above it where the messages are for you, then stop processing more rules.  You will not specifically then all get dumped into the junk e-mail folder.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BBM feature request: blocking messages broadcast

I searched this forum and (surprisingly) not found references to what is perhaps the most annoying 'feature' that LINE has implemented since I've owned a Bay. In providing the function of dissemination in the new versions of Messenger, my berry is now subject to the same stupid, irrelevant, spam stupid and/or non-original jokes/rumors/prayer-request type that I keep vigorously against my Inbox. However, while I can set up filters and rules to block these unwanted e-mail messages, there are no these controls don't present in BBM and the only way to effectively counter offenders is to remove them from your list of contacts, which is a sledgehammer vs. nut solution, to say the least.

In my contacts list, there are some people who regularly send such messages and then there are others who are completely irritated by them, like me, but then make the situation worse by sending broadcasts aggravated, bad character complain the previous messages. When you have a couple hundred contacts, it can really become quite ridiculous sometimes day when a popular joke or even walked around.

So, I would ask that the BBM dev team seriously investigate add an option 'Block' diffuse - ideally on a per contact basis, but I'd settle for a solution like all or nothing, as I am willing to sacrifice the 1% of useful messages that I receive if it spares me the disturbance of other 99%. If my own list of contacts is something to go, I'm not the only person who'd be enormously grateful for it to be implemented as quickly as possible, or I'm the only one grinch in the building?

I just want to remove these shippers from my BBM contacts list. If they ask why, I tell them the truth.

    Problem solved for me.

  • Blocking message queue mechanism

    Hello

We are in the configuration MP with masters on AIX and slaves on HP or Windows.

On the slaves, in the ulog, sometimes we have the error message "CMDTUX_CAT:1380: ERROR: the Message Queue blocking warned childbirth, Qaddr = xxxxxx".

She seems to happens because the BRIDGE process received a message from the network and could not place the message in the queue expected CPI (serverbacked to the top or parameters of resource system IPC too weak or too overload the machine...).

    What happens in this case?

the request message is ignored by Smoking and Tuxedo sends an error message to the sender of the request?

or Tuxedo place the message on another queue of the CPI of the same type?

    Thanks in advance

    TIBUS

    Hi Max,.

The message is discarded and the sender may or may not get an error message which is the sender.  If it is a request then the request timeout message and the caller you will get an error.  However if there is a response message then the message will simply be abandoned because there is no way to tell the server that sent the response that the message has not been delivered.  Usually, this is caused by the IPC resources being set too low, even if it could be because a server is severely backed up.

  • WebLogic 12.1.2 MDB TransactionManagementType.BEAN blocking messages

    Hello

When we have a managed Bean MessageDriveBean we see that some messages are blocked.

Setup is a simple queue where we set a deadline for re-delivery of 5 times, and spread to a queue of the error later.

We also have a single execution thread for the MDB:

    < max-son-constraint >
    < name > xxx_mdb_maxtrheads < / name >
    < number > 1 < / count >
    < / max-son-constraint >

In the test case send us 10 correct messages to the queue of waiting, then 2 false messages (inconsistent messages) and then again 20 correct messages.

When the MDB is a poison message just throw us an exception.

This is the journal that we see:

    TextMessage [ID: < 130550.1393589299935.0 >, 9]
    TextMessage [ID: < 130550.1393589299937.0 >, Poison message 1]
    TextMessage [ID: < 130550.1393589299961.0 >, 18]

    TextMessage [ID: < 130550.1393589299956.0 >, 16]

The strange thing is that we do not see the manipulation of re-deliveries "Poison message 2" until all configured to the "Poison 1" message have been treated.

We only see this error when the MDB is defined as managed Bean.

Testing the same code simply by changing the MDB in the managed container is to give the newspaper waited:

  • How can I block messages unwanted popup Flash?

I'm browsing without Flash installed. When I go to certain sites or pages in some sites, a small pop up icon in the upper left corner of the window. The icon invites me to install flash. The icon can be closed, but after many repetitions becomes boring. Is there a way to block those annoying icons? If this isn't the case, Mozilla will consider adding a device ensuring the control of the user of this icon?

It's a built-in notification. Could you try changing one or both the following preferences:

    (1) in a new tab, type or paste Subject: config in the address bar and press ENTER. Click on the button promising to be careful.

    (2) in the search above the list box, type or paste Miss and make a pause so that the list is filtered

    (3) double-click the preference plugins.notifyMissingFlash from true to false.

    (4) If you don't want notifications for other plugins, double-click the preference plugins.hideMissingPluginsNotification to false to true.

I think that should hide the menu drop-down but always show notification plugin icon so that you can look at issues if necessary page by clicking on it. Does it work?

  • Can the IPS to block messages to the router?

    Hi all!

An engineer told me that the IPS sensor can be configured to set up an ACL timed on a router based on alerts IPS he gets (to block a specific IP address for example). Is this true? I did a search but you can imagine all the results returned are for the IP configuration on the router (IOS IPS).

Can someone point me to a document or somewhere I can get more information?

    Thank you very much!

    Kind regards

    Xavier

    Xavier-

You were told correctly, that Cisco IPS sensors can create a temporary ACL in routers Cisco IOS and Cisco PIX / ASA firewall. The feature you're looking for is called 'Shunning' or 'Blocking'

You must enable fleeing to the signatures that you want to run and configure the IPS sensor with the necessary credentials, the interface and management on the router, you want the list ACL to appear.

Here is an example of a CLI configuration:

  • Can I print log messages that have been filtered and blocked?

I have a lot of blocked messages I want to print from the newspaper. Is this possible to do? Please advise!
    Thank you!

If you have previously installed Thunderbird to record the activity of the filter, the answer is 'yes '.
Open a blank "Notepad" document, or use your favorite text editor.

Back in Thunderbird, open the dialog box filters.
"Tools - Message filters" to see the list of filters.
Use of the 'filters for ' drop-down menu to set the account that you want to print.
    Press "filter the log.

Click inside the window that appears and press onCtrl' + 'A', to select all the text.
Press onCtrl "+"C" to copy to the Clipboard."
Go into your empty text document and click inside it and press onCtrl' + 'V' to paste the Clipboard into the document

You can now edit or process the data more far, and
