Blue screen in the develop module.
When I pass it draws to develop, I get a blue screen for preview but not picture. I must have hit the wrong button somewhere when I was trying to teach me. Any suggestions? Thank you!
Hi cmarks,
Please turn off the graphics processor of Lightroom preferences.
Open Lightroom
Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu
Click the performance tab
Deselect the graphics processor
Restart Lightroom
Let us know if that helps.
Kind regards
Mohit

It works as Lightroom uses is no longer your GPU for rendering of image in the develop module.

Lightroom development [Blue screen in the develop module]
I am new to lightroom and I can't seem to put my photos. I was able to import them into lightroom. In the picture below, when I select develop, I get a blue screen. I click on the image in the scroll bar (which I've cropped this image), but I always get this blue screen. Can anyone help?
Check the answers to another thread - development - blue screen!
Most likely, the graphic processing unit cannot display the image in the develop mode.

I installed the free trial version of lightroom. For some reason, the develop module is just a blue screen. I tried to uninstall and reinstall. I have a new computer with the latest version of windows etc.
Go in Edition > Preferences > Performance and uncheck CPU graph use.

Why do I get a blue screen when I go in the develop module?
I just installed LR cc on my new Dell laptop. I loaded 40Photos from a SD disk. Al came fine in the library module, but when I went to develop I had a bright blue screen. It was obvious that the photo was somehow behind the screen. The controls right acted as if the photo was on the screen. I tried the Reset, but nothing has changed. If I made a comparison, I received the photo on one side and the blue screen on the other. I must have accidentally hit something but can't for the life of me what it was.
Go in Edition > Preferences > Performance and uncheck CPU graph use, that should fix.
You can also try updating your graphic driver and see if you can work with the active graphic processor.

I get a blue screen in the main window to develop the module
I just downloaded LR6 from CC Adobe on my new computer laptop > it worked fine on the old laptop, but now I have a problem. I imported the photos that look very well, but when I try to open on (one) in the develop module I get a blue screen in the main window. The image appears in the navigator Panel. I use Windows 10, which I never used before LR.
Lightroom preferences-> Performance tab, disable the GPU option. It may be necessary to restart Lightroom.

I have the 5.7 Lightroom version and download the new version of CC. When I open the CC version, in library mode, choose a picture and then go to the develop module, I get a screen empty blue with no photo. Why?
Please try the steps mentioned in the Adobe Photoshop Lightroom help | Graphics processor (GPU) acceleration, troubleshooting & FAQ Lightroom
You can check 6 Lightroom displays a blank blue screen with an X through it in the module development for all the photos of my reference.

Hi guys, I get the blue screen in the LR development mode, even though I have updated the driver for the graphics card on this new laptop. It's an AMD Radeon R5 M335 4 GB memory DDR3, core i7 6th gen processor. What should do? Thank you
This Eizo has a normal resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. I expect not to see a lot of benefits of using the GPU. You really see the advantage to screens that are at least 4K (3840 x 2160 pixels) or more. On small screens, you can see some benefits with smoother updates if you ONLY use the base sliders to develop. If you use brushes, turning on the GPU can actually slow you down a bit. In most cases, loading images in develop is also slower when you activated! There are a few illustrative notes to an engineer from Adobe that you can read here: notes for Lightroom CC GPU (2015) in order to better understand what is happening. Currently, in most cases, I recommend leaving off the coast. I think that Adobe is trying to improve and have more cards supported, but it is not yet completely there.

Why do I get a blue rectangle covering the photo in the develop module?
I bought the upgrade to LR6 (or is that LR CC?). The new software downloaded, installed, updated catalog, it seems to work normally. When I first opened the program, it seemed ok, but soon a large blue rectangle (with a top X) appeared on the photo selected in the library module. I signed out and signed in; I restarted my computer. The rectangle is always there, but I saw that no module has been highlighted. When I clicked on the library, the rectangle disappeared. So, I thought I had solved the problem. BUT the rectangle persists in the develop module (only he). The controls do not seem to work (if I click on the cropping rectangle, I can see in the upper right preview window), but I don't see the rectangle not really change anything.
Any ideas? (I'm running Windows 7, 64-bit)

For now, try to uncheck the GPU option in Preferences > Performance tab. There is a question that seems to be linked to other app/games that changed some parameters related to the gpu. I will try to attract the attention of Adobe on this, but in the meantime try to change this option.
