I have a HP Pavilion dv7-6195us laptop computer
and I hurt after my gpuz so you can help me solve my question... Thank you

Please help me

I have a HP Dv7 6197 ca with the same card as you, then here is how you fix this problem: update your BIOS to the latest version, and then in the BIOS screen (press ESC, then select the Bios Setup) and change the setting for the Graphics Mode fixed to Dynamics. This should solve your problem. If you can't find this option in the BIOS update, then try the UBR tool in the installer of UNIFIL. I suggest try F840 and F940 values.

If the resolution is all wonky after you go into the BIOS, you will need to re - install the drivers.

    Original title: blue screen problem

I got a new toshiba laptop with windows 8 three weeks ago and he has recently begun a lot of give me a blue screen. The main mistakes were a driver power state failure or error DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL. I thought it was because I had software anti computer virus, zonealarm and norton. So I uninstalled norton and the problems seemed to be stopped, because the computer collapsed in four days, however, it will be the laptop I take in College, if I want to make absolutely certain that all drivers and stuff are up-to-date. If possible I'd like transfer the files of dump here and I hope someone is watching and tell me if I have to correct all the drivers on my computer. Unfortunately I do not know how to access my computer crash dump files. So if someone could walk me through this process and look at the files I would be very happy.

Not only do you have Kaspersky and Symantec, but I just noticed that you have Zone Alarm.  Who has withdrawn as well.

    Hello

Think the drivers - do all.

Could be a nuisance pilot. Update your drivers manually looking at system manufacturer and
Sites of the manufacturer of the device.

This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
    manually if you wish.

With the Xpress 200 integrated graphics, you will not be able to get Aero or other effects of Windows 7.

You can adapt a motherboard graphics card: AGP or PCI-E slot there. A Radeon 3400 or other card compatible Windows 7 can be pretty cheap and would provide Aero and other effects of Windows 7.

    > During a game for half an hour, the screen darkens and a second view later, I get a blue screen.
Well, my first thought is that this problem is related to the graphics driver.
I mean it could be a software problem.
But I know that a BSOD can also occur if the graphics card chip began to malfunction.
In your case I m not sure what could cause this problem. But to play a game, that the GPU is running with a maximum yield and produce a lot of heat. If the temperature rises to a higher level the GPU can also cause a BSOD.

Anyway, first of all, you must check if the graphics card driver update could solve this problem.
Maybe you could use a driver from other websites but please note that this is ONLY possible at your peril!

  • Blue screen problem Qosmio x 770 (0 x 00000051)

    Hey,.

    I have a problem with my Qosmio x 770:

Last week I was confronted to a blue screen (STOP: 0 x 00000051 (...)) Registry error) randomly after a few hours of use (especially at the launch of firefox. I decided to reinstall Firefox, but it did not help).
Now after an update Windows 7 Edition family, I get this bluescreen every 5 to 20 seconds after the connection.

    Safe mode works fine however.
Well, I googled my problem and found generally two main sources for this error:
    (a) corrupted registry
    (b) broken RAM

Because I can run Windows in safe mode I'm sure this isn't my material, so I think I have a corrupted Windows registry.

To resolve this, say, I have to use my recovery disc and it will be fine.

And this is the point where my problem begins: I am in Australia for hiking at the present time and not able to get a recovery Qosmio x 770 W7 disk there.

I'm not in the mood to wear a doorstopper 4 kg while traveling, then I'd be extremely happy if there was no other solution to my problem.

Thank you much for the help :)

    Hello

If you have two Rams in your laptop, I would suggest removing one to see what is happening. If you still get bluescreen try with this one.

If this does not help, you can try a program like "Little Registry Cleaner" to repair the registry, but it could get worse.
I do not like these programs who mess up with your registry, but if you have nothing to lose, you can try.

  • Blue Screen installation updates (KB2419640) & (KB2478935) for Windows Vista

I get the blue screen when I install the above, and this update was 12/01/2011 and continues to reappear after I restore the system to January 9. So I turned off auto updates but isn't this bad since I DON'T want to prevent remote control?  What can I do to fix these two updates. No blue screen before these updates, but as soon as I say yes to reboot on blue screen. What is a L1T (level a techie) to do. I need this computer until I get a job!

Thanks to the intervention of Halima S... I'm ready to tackle this problem without restoring the system. My only concern is that this command deletes previous restore dates and that the option is permanently deleted. However, first I have to print the steps to follow for a clean boot and re-read. I will work from there... Still down thanks!

    Hi Apple2DellExperience,

    1. are you able to install some other updates on the computer?

    2. what was the message on blue screen?

    3. do you have security software installed on the computer?

It is not recommended to disable the automatic update.

These updates will be revived again after the system restore.

I suggest that you manually download and install the update, check if it works.

Also, make sure you disable all the third-party program installed on the computer during the update installation process.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

I got the install updates and the button stop, then left for a few hours, thinking that it would update after a few minutes. I came home, and he had not yet determined a percentage of completion yet. SO I thought it was frozen/not going to work, so I unplugged it (I know it says not to do: P). so now so now when I turn it on it goes to the screen to stop and lets me choose if I want to start in:
    safe mode
    SafeMode w / networking
    safe mode with command prompt
    last known good configuration
    normally

I tried all of this and they all take me to a blue screen that says:
    STOP: c0000218 {Registry file failure}
registry cannot load the hive (file)
    systemroot\system32\config\SOFTWARE
    or its log or alternative
It is corrupt absent or not writable

I don't have my instillation of windows disk because I heard that it comes with a repair disc which should solve this problem.
I tried to make Internet and I couldn't make them work
I tried to make one with the "recovery disk creator" on my new computer laptop sisters. he wouldn't let me continue the program, even if it charged because my computer is not a product of toshiba

I have full of ideas on how to solve this problem.

Recovery disk/s on other computers will not work on your.

Try to use the ERD below.

If this does not work, contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery Vista disc/s, or ask for help in using your recovery Partition; and do a Vista reinstall.

As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

Read all the info on the website on how to create and use it.

    ISO Burner: http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

It's a very good Vista repair disc.

You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

There is not a disk of resettlement.

And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.

    See you soon.
