• Problem in the Bluetooth Application

  I develop a bluetooth application based used to detect devices in range and connects with her.

  I use the api from j2me for this and I have studied its DiscoveryListener interface. I have a few questions related to this.

  1. I can't detect a new device in the deviceDiscovered() method. in this method, I add its object to a vector. The question is that what method of DiscoveryListener is one that is used when the search is complete?

  2 is it possible that I can stop searching? as nokia devices do? And what method is used for that?

  Each call to DiscoveryListener.deviceDiscovered (javax.bluetooth.RemoteDevice, javax.bluetooth.DeviceClass) save info on device discovered somewhere (in perhaps of vector of public representative), then DiscoveryListener.inquiryCompleted (int) you can do with this list of everything you want - e.g. display in ListFIeld choice. And you can use the services of selected research RemoteDevice for device. And with services, you can finally connect other devices.

  DiscoveryAgent.cancelInquiry (javax.bluetooth.DiscoveryListener) - removes the mode of the survey feature.

  DiscoveryAgent.cancelServiceSearch (int) - cancels the service search operation that has the ID of the specified transaction.

• Windows 10 compatibility with applications developed in LabView

  We have deployed several applications developed in LabView that are running OK under Win7 and Win8.x.

  Are there problems of known incompatibility with 10 Windows and applications created with "LV2012 SP1 that read data from cards NiDaq". We should warn our clients to not upgrade their operating system or should we ask them to install a specific version of the runtime OR or NiDaq libraries?

• Resources on application development?

  Hi, I'm a developer of new applications. I have been diving in the documentation for a couple of days now and be able to apply. However, it would have been nice if there would be more documentation on how to handle some of the things. I must say that I'm not too well C and I in particular, and faced with the creation of a GUI for my application, it says would be also nice to have documentation on some native support things like drag it in the menu dropdown. I'd love to implement a large number of this native stuff and I want to design the native application, but it seems quite difficult. Am I missing out on something and someone has some great examples/resources that I could shoot?

  The problem with the user interface is that it is not native UI toolkit still available. The Native SDK 1.0 was designed primarily to allow porting OpenGL games, but it has certainly been used for other things. Native SDK 2.0 is supposed to be in beta by the end of October, and will include a good native UI toolkit (stunts). Until there non-OpenGL application development will be quite difficult in the native SDK, probably requiring you to use Qt.

  Most of the applications you see with native user interfaces are using the AIR SDK currently.

  There is no company now sells the BlackBerry Application development framework that allows developers to drag-and - drop controls and to set the properties of the designer.

  It is in very interesting my friend working with RMI. Try it. Please, before asking the question on the forum you first of all of the research on this. If you do not get the ANS you ask your question in the forum.

  We have a Visual Studio MFC application developed in Win XP English platform (development machine). But the exe does not work in Win 7 German automatic (automatic tester).
  Please let me know,

  • If I have to do any project for language compatibility setting in Visual Studio in the development computer before compilation.
  • or I have to change any setting in machine tester to run the exe file.

  I have an application developed using developer 6i, forms, and reports, as well as the Oracle 10 g for a school database. The application consists of student information, collection of fees and sms sending to parents.

  (1) you can use mySQL. I prefer Oracle XE, as it is better suited for the ADF.

  The pivot must be enabled for these columns.  To do this, you can upgrade the application developed in 4.2.6 as follows:

  -Click on the application

  -Click utilities

  -Click on the Application upgrade

  -Activate the IR Pivot should appear.  Click on the number of candidate object

  -You can select some or all of the IRs to upgrade

  Oracle APEX application is deployed as a SQL script, so regardless of what OS/Architecture of the application is exported and where it is deployed.

  The only thing is that you can not deploy an application from a newer version to a version lower than Oracle APEX.
