Bluetooth does not work anymore on the Satellite A100-683

Hello

I'm new to this forum. I am from the Netherlands so my English may be a bit poor. Sorry about that.

The problem:

In 2006, I bought a laptop Toshiba Satellite A100-683 9. It has integrated Bluetooth, a good processor and 1 GB of RAM. It works great, even bluetooth. A week ago stopped working Bluetooth.

Device Manager, reinstall the drivers, the recovery cd, ConfigFree, tried everything without success. No Bluetooth. The laptop has a chip integrated Bluetooth 2.0. It works, but not now. Boats a year ago, because he has "one year warranty".

Is there anything I can try to fix the Bluetooth?

    Hello everyone,

I have a problem with my laptop (satellite c660-A047) Bluetooth does not work on windows (7 and 8), but it works very well under Linux (Ubuntu, Fedora, Backtrack).

I have an outgoing method :) to do run on windows, start Linux Live then set the Bluetooth adapter to the off State, and then reboot (do not stop, restart only), and then start windows this time this Bluetooth adapter works great and updated automatically in the Device Manager.

To use Bluetooth on windows I have to do the same steps: (.)

If someone wants to know all the details to help me solve these curious case, I will be grateful.

Thanks, looking forward to hearing from you soon.

The laptop supports Wlan Atheros / module combo BT.
This means that a single module shares WiFi and BT connectivity.

Using Win 7 you must add the additional drivers called filter for driver Atheros BT package.
So first the Atheros WLan driver must be installed, secondly Atheros BT filter after battery Toshiba BT.

To help to win 8, you must install two components of driver manually to enable the Bluetooth feature: System Toshiba + Atheros Bluetooth driver driver filter

  • Keyboard does not work properly on the Satellite P100-465

    Hello
Toshiba P100-465, I bought last month and discovered that if you press any key sound (especially the SPACEBAR or enter) between the upper right, it does not work.
I never saw such a problem anywhere in any laptop. Please confirm if this is the case with all or should I get my keyboard replaced.

I read this forum for a long time and I have strength to find a lot of comments about it. Because of that I think he cannot be serious and I recommend you contact the partner of service authorized in your country.

By the way if you press the keys correctly (around using the button) I see no problem there but service can check properly and if problem described is a problem with the hardware keyboard will be replaced free of charge.

    Bye and good luck!

    Hi Jarno

Do you know how many different Satellite notebooks have a series? Drivers and tools are not the same for each of them. Because of this you should also tell us that you have.

According to your description, I can tell you: install OS using support and recovery delivered with factory settings, your mobile phone must be configured correctly.

  • Bluetooth does not work anymore

Bluetooth function seems to have completely stopped working on my watch.  When I tried to re-pair it with my phone, it does not appear.  Neither appears in the bluetooth settings of the phone as an available connection.  I turned the market watch and bluetooth of my phone works normally with other devices.  I updated my phone a couple of days and have noticed this problem since then.

Clarify the status of your watch, as well depending on your watch and your iPhone. For example:

    Watch

Is your watch still operational, but just disconnected?

You always have access to the face of the watch and other functions, but with an icon of disconnected state indicated at the top of the face of the watch at the time display?

Or is it odd - and asks you to choose a language when you turn it on?

    iPhone

In the app shows, go to: Watch My:

-Is your display shows at the top of my watch?

-If you press it, then press the 'i' icon next to your watch on the next screen, the status of the next screen "Matched" above the name of the watch?

  • X 230 bluetooth does not work - cannot use the cell phone as personal hotspot

I try to use the bluetooth in my X 230 to connect my laptop with my cell phone. I want to be able to use my cell phone as a personal hotspot, where I am in an area where no WiFi secure. I would have thought that it would be a standard feature in a laptop that is presented as a business device, but apparently this is not the case.

I installed the bluetooth driver and the updated system, as suggested by joelle...

    and

... but it's still not working for me. I am now able to connect my mobile phone to my X 230, but instead of allowing me to access the internet via bluetooth, a dialog box appears that allowed me to play songs that are on my cell phone using the laptop speakers.

I am disappointed that bluetooth driver has not come pre-installed on the 230 x, and I'm disappointed that I'm not able to use my cell phone as a personal hotspot for my x 230.

I solved the problem myself by following the instructions on this page.

    http://www.kevintaber.com/2012/05/25/iPhone-personal-hotspot-via-Bluetooth-tethering-to-Windows-7/

In Windows 7, go to the control panel > hardware and sound > devices and printers
Then right-click on the bluetooth device (in this case, an iPhone) and choose Properties
Deselect all EXCEPT Personal Area Network Access Point

  • Qosmio F50 - after update BIOS Bluetooth does not work anymore

    I need to update BIOS and F50 v 2.20.

After update Bluetooth stopped working. Bluetooth in the taskbar icon turned red and I couldn't use any bluetooth device. I got my comp. 3 times to factory State, nothing has changed. After that I uninstalled the bluetooth stack, when I re install the installation crashes and now there is no icon in the taskbar and no link in Control Panel.
    I've tried everything.

Need some professional help. My computer is only 2 months old.
    I am very angry.

There is a new version of battery available Bluetooth.

But before install you it I recommend to remove the old battery installation BT.
After removing the battery of BT, reboot the laptop and follow the BT facility.

Installation should finish correctly and then you can activate using the FN + F8 keys.

    Should work.

  • Acer V5-171 - Bluetooth does not work anymore

    Hello everyone :-)

    I had an Acer V5-171, model Q1VZC.

Very happy performance, but ever since I upgraded to 8.1 windows, it seemed that my bluetooth adapter no longer works. Don't know if it was just a coincidence.

I tried to download different installers on the site but I don't know if they were good.

Could someone please walk me through a bit of troubleshooting so that we can find the problem?

    Thanks in advance

    Roel.

    Roel,

Perform a restore back to the Windows 8.1 upgrade, remove drivers Bluetooth, and then upgrade to Windows 8.1. It should install generic drivers and you can download the drivers Acer Afterwords.

  • SD card does not work in on my Satellite A100-163 5-in-1 card reader

    Hello

I recently bought a 1 GB SD card and tried to plug it into my A100-163 built-in 5-in-1 card reader. Nothing appears in my computer. I tried to go to the Device Manager and, under "drives" "Secure Digital Storage Device" with a bit of yellow! Select this option. I tried updating the driver Module SD, but whenever I do that the installer comes up with an error, basically saying he can find SD Secure Module.msi. He tries to find in a dark temp folder that involves me Installer is not extracted properly.

Can someone help me read my SD card? Help, please!

UPDATE: on the occasion of the strange, it appears in my computer as "Secure Digital Storage Device. When I double click on it, it says:

"E:\ is not accessible. The request cannot be performed because of an i/o device error."

    Thank you.

    Mike.

    Hello Mike

One thing confuses me. If the unit has the multi card reader factory settings must be configured correctly. You use your own installation of the OS?

In any case, try to remove device from digital storage secure from Device Manager, then restart the device.

  • Bluetooth does not work since installing Vista SP2

I have a HP Pavilion dv6 1128tx laptop.  It has bluetooth built-in and used to connect to my phone without problem.  I recently upgraded to Vista SP2, and since then, bluetooth does not work.  In the control panel when I click on bluetooth devices it does not connect, and when I click on bluetooth, nothing happens.  I downloaded the latest drivers from HP, I installed it is said in the end the process there is no bluetooth device installed and the only option is to cancel the installation.  I've been on microsoft site http://support.microsoft.com/kb/960531/ where I used the option "fix it for me", which has removed the option of Control Panel devices and I don't know how to fix this!  I followed the instructions from HP on this page http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?lc=en&dlc=en&cc=au&product=3938840&docname=c00915262, but I don't see anything on bluetooth technology on the Device Manager page.

    Any thoughts? !  Ta!

    HELO JosieC, welcome.

In Device Manager, there are all the devices with a yellow mark ! next to them? Is there an 'unknown' devices listed?

You could try the system restore to restore the computer prior to the installation of SP2.

    1. click on START
    2. Type "System Restore" (without the quotes) and press enter
3 follow the prompts to restore your system to a date BEFORE the problem started

    Let us know what happens

  • Satellite P500 - after update BIOS on the numeric keypad does not work anymore

I just had a Satellite P500 and am running Windows 7. I downloaded all the latest drivers and updated the system BIOS to version 1.70 (from Toshiba support website). Now, my numeric keypad of the keyboard does not work.

The NumLock light is on and when I hit the key "6" on the pavement, he turns the power light, but the behavior of the other keys does not change that it is on or off. The '-' key to enter a '6', but none of the other keys (except "enter" does nothing.

I removed the keyboard driver and rebooted to reinstall the keyboard driver, but has no effect. The keyboard has worked for a few days after that I flashed the bios but seems to have stopped since I started using a USB mouse. I tried to uninstall the USB mouse driver, but who have nothing do either (it was a Logitech driver).

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance

    > I did not upgrade bios 1.7
Maybe you should try upgrading the BIOS
As another user has suggested upgrading the BIOS 1.7 helped, even if the end user has updated the BIOS twice
