Reboot your iPad.

  1. Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears.
  2. Drag the slider to turn off your device completely off.
  3. Once the device turns off, press and hold the sleep/wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

  • Is there a delay in the signal when using Bluetooth on any iDevice and, in particular, on an iPad Pro?

I am using Bluetooth involved in the use of music made a software with sounds of digital instruments using a musical keyboard hardware connected via the USB cable to Lightning to play sounds from the app on my iPad Pro.

When I try to use a Bluetooth speaker source, there's a 1-2 second delay when I play a chord in the app and when the sound is played through the Bluetooth speaker.

This delay IS NOT the case when I use just the iPad Pro speaker on when I am attaching some small travel speakers to the headphone jack of my iPad.

Only when I try to use my Bluetooth speakers sounds better.

Is this a problem question Bluetooth and/or iOS?

My iPad Pro isn't very strong using these apps do and travel speakers I use plugged into the headset jack music are a little better on the volume, but tend to deform when I try to increase the overall volume level.

I intend to put this issue on the web forums for Korg, but want some answers from anyone who has been playing and recording music on their iPad using an external keyboard to play and record music in an app to do the music.

Also, (and I intend to ask this in the GarageBand for iOS forums) can the iOS version of Garageband output sound on a Bluetooth speaker and quietly delay, too, that I can not get the iOS version of GarageBand to sound output via Bluetooth to a Bluetooth speaker.

    Hi, MichelPM

According to the used speaker, he will always be * some * delay when using Bluetooth to stream audio from an iOS device (or practically any device BT also) through a Bluetooth speaker. I have a Bluetooth speakers system cheaper that I use with my iPad mini 4... I pretty much use it only to listen to sound. If I try and use it for Pinball iOS games I play, there is a delay of environ.5 second anywhere, I'm the speaker. Exactly same phenomenon occurs with the keyclicks when you type it on the iPad keyboard... 5 second delay & even with some applications of synthesizer iOS that I use (Animoog & Arturia iSEM). I think it's just the nature of the beast of Bluetooth.

Higher quality speakers would be better, but I'm not spending more money to find out.

If you want an immediate response with zero real audio keypress delay, I fear, the only way to do this is to use a wired speaker.

  • iPad Pro battery dead/emptied?

My iPad Pro remained unused during the month or two.

    I tried with:

-The MacBook Air and the original cable

He won't answer for sleep/wake button or sleep/wake + home when 10 seconds or more.

I left that it plugged in all night with original charger and still no luck.

    Hello BakkerBox,

Thanks for this info and choosing the communities Support from Apple. I know how to keep track of your devices is important to you!

Looks like you want to have a message pop up when you are out of reach of your iPad Pro as a reminder. I am aware of a way to do this directly on your devices iOS, but I can work around you that I personally use for a similar situation.

Use a function callback reminders app location to make a message appear. You can use this to Setup places a reminder to "Grab my iPad Pro" when you leave a specific office of the building or location.

  • Languages and iPad Pro

    Hello world

I have a question about the ipad Pro. I bought the ipad a few weeks ago. I mainly use it in my class. I am a French teacher and I need to design lessons in French. When I use the globe, it actually changes to QWERTY Qwerty keyboard which makes it very difficult for me to type quickly. I went into settings, hardware keyboards, changed keyboards as much as I could, but I couldn't find a solution to my problem. I would be grateful if someone could help me with this.

    Thank you very much

    Lila

You didn't say, but I assume you are using your iPad with a bluetooth keyboard?

In this case, under the heading hardware keyboards > French, if it is qwerty you want, you can select Canadians, french, us, British or Dutch.

From keyboards, you can use Control more space instead of the key of the Globe.

If you talk about the keyboard on the screen, you type French and select list of keyboards hardware qwerty.

Of course the French characters can easily be typed without switching to the English keyboard as well.  Except the spell check does not work well.

  • iPad Pro. The keyboard can be used remotely (not physically attached) or you can use a standard apple wireless keyboard

iPad Pro. The keyboard can be used remotely (not physically attached) or you can use a standard apple wireless keyboard

I assume that you mean the keyboard built into the 'smart cover' - it must be in contact with the iPad.

A wireless keyboard Apple has been reported as working with an iPad Pro. Plug Apple for the new State of "magic keyboard" that it requires a Mac with os x 10.11 or later - he does not mention the iPads. Third-party Bluetooth keyboard should work.

  • iPad Pro - sluggish physical keyboard after update 9.2

I use an iPad Pro, 128 GB wi - fi only with a case of keyboard Logitech Create.

Prior to 9.2, the keyboard was perfectly admissible when you type. Following the update, now the keyboard is slow; It feels as if the software is struggling to keep in touch with my shots. While I type, almost all the other words it lacks several letters and remains misspelled or gets automatically corrected to something that I didn't intend.

Makes me think it is a problem of software (apart from the fact that the problem popped immediately after a software update), is that it only happens in certain applications. Typing is slow in the Notes of iOS app, and it is slow when you fill in the fields like this in Safari. However, when I type the address bar Safari or in the 3rd party app editorial, it works fine.

anyone else encounter this? Are there patches side waiting for a software update? If you encounter this problem, please note what keyboard you use with the iPad.

First thing I would try would be:

Force the restart (does not affect the settings/data/music/apps/etc)

    1. press and hold the sleep/wake button

    2. press and hold the Home button

    3. hold both buttons until the screen turns off, then back on with the Apple logo.

So forget the Bluetooth connection between the iPad Pro and the keyboard, the re - combine the two.

  • I had dinner all the stuff I can find, but my new iPad pro drains the battery 1-2minuts life ever? Please help me I have no idea

Ive had only my iPad pro for a few days now and the battery just drains constantly 1% every minute or so. I read online and have turned some triggering and cool off apps, Bluetooth off exe... My iPad pro always drains battery life bad... I use it constantly or the other, it could be on the home screen and I do nothing and in a minute or two 1% of the battery has been drained. I'm just bummed on this subject because Apple boasted of a battery life of 10 hours and going at the pace my battery, I'll be lucky to get an hour or two. I would greatly appreciate all constructive comments on this.

Have you tried a reset of your iPad by pressing the sleep/wake and Home buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with the Apple logo and then release the buttons?

    Good luck!

  • iPad Pro keyboard on-screen despite the use of Create from Logitech

I was quick to connect a Logitech Keyboard create my iPad Pro once I had two in hand. Create keyboard worked according to expectations.

However, recently I noticed that when I have one using various applications the iPad Pro on-screen keyboard blocking half of the screen, even if I type with Create. When I clear the on screen Keyboard Pro I am not able to type with create up to the on-screen keyboard is restored.

Y at - it a known workaround to this distraction? Only, I arrived at Rome and absent an office environment have not noted the applications associated with this problem, but it includes at least Safari but not Chrome.

I also have this problem with the iPad Pro. When you use the Smart case Apple keyboard the on-screen keyboard appears.

I remember long ago when I had the iPad second and attached to a bluetooth keyboard, the keyboard on the screen went. It may be a bug that will be fixed in the next update of the operating system.
