• Sprint/8330 will not get a point fixed internal GPS, will be bluetooth.

  My company is making us spend AT + T for the Sprint and I need to test my GPS application on this.  I am concerned, I have the application running on AT + T and I get both internal and external and GPS bluetooth patch.  I got the Sprint 8330 yesterday (this is not yet enabled), but I load the application (it is signed).  Problem is that it gets fixed GPS bluetooth, but never gets one by using the internal chip.  I can't believe I have to activate the phone for the functioning of the internal chip.  I can't afford the switch only to find out that I can't test the GPS.  Issues related to the:

  1. do Sprint like Verizon GPS lock doesn't?
  2. internal GPS should something from the network in order for the GPS get a fix?

  Confirmed by Sprint.  The internal GPS is not active as long as the phone was activated.

  Recently I bought laptop Toshiba Satellite C640 and Nokia BH-503 Bluetooth headset. I'm trying hard to connect the headset to the laptop via bluetooth, but not every time. Laptop is not able to detect the searching for Bluetooth headset. I have the bluetooth drivers installed on the laptop that are mentioned on the Toshiba site.

  Toshiba computers laptops don t have physical switch to BT BT can be activated only with FN + F8.
  When you turn on BT for the first time the BT driver will be installed and all components of BT appears in Device Manager. Usually software stack Toshiba BT will start and taskbar (notification icons) you will see BT small symbol.

  Please check this box. If this symbol appears in red, then BT s device not ready for its use, but if the symbol is blue that you should be able to use the BT connection.

  I can't say for sure, but I guess you didn't activate BT correctly. Please try again.

  I have a Qosmio x 770 and I was pretty stuped to uninstall the bluetooth drivers and then re install.
  When I re installed them I installed Atheros filter first then the bluetooth stack and now I get the error whenever I try to add a new connection that says "bluetooth is not ready".

  I beleve I have an Atheros driver and/or the card installed, but I don't know how to check.

  I use the bluetooth to connect PS3 controllers if that helps.

  I have a Qosmio X 500 64 bit with the latest Toshiba bluetooth stackpack Im having to reinstall again and again to get my BT of intellipoint mouse to work. A restart worked once but that stopped after a while. It seems to work great for the few hours that bam! Seeing red on the icon and "bluetooth is not ready" after a game session. The HID mouse is recognized as a device.

  What happens when I play games with a usb joystick and then come back to use the mouse and the bluetooth device icon went red with "bluetooth is not ready" when trying to reconnect. It happened again when normal so not a problem of navigation stick? I tried a lot of different parameters, thinking that this is a problem of network or power managemnet. I'm currently using my orginal BT usb dongle but prefer my built-in. Thanks for any help.

  I think that you when you say that you want to use BT books but I have very good experiences with mouse BT used with original dongle BT. No matter what goals you use the mouse, the connection will never be interrupted or disconnected.

  I have a toshiba Qosmio X 770 with built in without wireless/bluetooth. I've had the computer for almost a year and finally bought a bluetooth device to use. Of course, I confirmed that bluetooth is activated (fn + f8) and tried with wireless on and outside.

  I also received the error "Autoseach stopped because bluetooth is turned off" when I enabled bluetooth Assistant. Again, the bluetooth is clearly defined on it, and when I open the bluetooth settings > options, the power button is set to "Turn on Bluetooth function." Now for the strange parts.

  I checked my device manager and my only bluetooth 'device' was "bluetooth RFCOMM", and I was expecting a real piece of material to be included.

  Since then, I uninstalled my pile to course and downloaded and installed the battery current 8.00.12. I have also reinstalled the filter. That did not always help, and I still get the error messages "bluetooth is not ready" and "power of bluetooth is disabled.
