Blurred printing

I have a HP Photosmart Premium all-in-one printer model C410c. windows XP Pro SPIII operating systems.

When I print a document containing words, the text sometimes comes out totally blurred. He also sometimes spends intelligible text to be truncated text. How can I fix?  I checked the preference settings and they are correct. The version of the driver is up-to-date.

I am trying to print several separate pages to an online account. In the print option, I select the right printer and driver.

I'll try to change the cable USB and repost with the results

I have a 276dw connected to a large LAN home network with wifi.

The individual workstations are connected to the wireless router, ethernet cable, portable computers connect to wifi. All of the machines in question are running Windows 8.1.

The 276dw is perfectly visible on the network and connects very well. However, when I print from Windows (for example, the word 2013) prints out truncated, often missingthe last few pages of a multi-puage document.

At one point, I found some instructions that allowed me to remove the printer as it has been installed by means of the own HP and Windows IP settings installation software manually. This enabled the SCART to PRINT correctly; However, I wasn't able to use the HP software to access the scanner. UH... not so great?

So I just ran the installation again, thinkiong the problems would have probably gone now--only they don't have. And, unfortunately, I can't find the hack I used to get the machine before!

Can someone tell me what the devil is going on? Running an HP printer can ' ^ t be hard!

If your router's Ethernet cable connected to the printer, then you should be using the normal installation of the cable network of the installer option.  You use the wireless installation option only when you connect directly to the car radio wireless network printing and without the assistance of the network home.  Ignore wireless for now.

If you are able to get the installation to complete, but it breaks later, then your printer may lose the network connection with your PC.  A quick and easy way to improve something as it is to assign the printer a static IP on your home network address.  A static IP address is one that never changes and is outside of the normal DHCP pool of addresses automatic IP supported by your router.  This way you can avoid your router by automatically assigning an IP address different than your computer has previously been referancing.

Try to assinging a static IP address and see if it improves the situation.  We can dig through the logs from there if necessary.

  • Acrobat 9 - save PDF as Optimized leading to printing blurry

Hi, I'm looking for an overview of the PDF with optimized saving. I got a print job recently where some pages came out blurry and some pages do not have. The previous job, I got no problem, but the files takes a long time to send. SO this time I thought I would use the option optimize in Acrobat 9 to make smaller files to send. I had the client checks the quality of their end, and of course the screen resolution was very good. What I'm after is a response to if the reason for blurry printing some pages was because of the option optimize the that I used when I sent them. What I quickly did some research, it seems that optimize does lead to blurry images. But if so, then why is msot of the pages come clean a crisp d and some of them come out blurry. Is this normal in this case? I'm saving my PDF files initially out of InDesign CS5 with bleeds and brands of printers. That's what I had the first time, but of course as I said this time I saved their way optimized in Acrobat 9. It's the only thing I can think of to cause blurred printing. It is only because of the setting or could it be that the Acrobat printers earlier ine tham and this version was the result disorders? Appreciate any idea so I can avoid this again.

Take a look to optimize the settings that you use. It is likely that you have reduced the resolution of 150 dpi. He'll be recompressed with JPEG - perhaps stronger (worst quality) compression that you used initially.

The "Standard" setting has no place in a print production workflow. (However, optimization PDF is a great way to transform a verson of web version press or other requirements for secondary production). Indeed, since you have already carefully prepared images you never be resampling yet more press because only decompression/recompression will reduce quality. If you're flattening of transparency which can also affect the quality.

Other parts of PDF Optimization can have value for you, but do not do exactly what you did - to test and check the quality.

  • DeskJet 3050 a: Deskjet 3050 a prints blur sometimes, new drivers, alignments, no cleaning, no joy.

If I print a test page for the printer it comes out perfect.

If I print a test page for Windows7 it comes out perfect.

If I right click and highlight text when it is on the internet and press print it comes out blurry.

Print an e-mail comes out blurry, even as wordpad.

Basically, but no test pages come out blurry, unless I do a google search and find a random test page not associated with Win7 or HP which will be blurred.

I tried new drivers, ink cartridges are fairly new, but they were good job and forwards the problem.

I did several cleanings, alignments, not troubleshooting, no joy.

He has been connected to the same USB port, worked many years.

No updates of windows 7 or changes.

No matter whether this printer is default, I also have a Canon iP2600 and it works perfectly, it was also in the years of system, once again no change, I can't see that would not cause this problem.  There is probably a change, but it is over my head as to what.

    Thank you

    Hi @bobscloud,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see you are having problems printing with HP Deskjet 3050 a printer. I would be glad to help and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

I understand how frustrating, it would be for you. You mentioned that you uninstall and reinstall the HP software. Looks like the drivers are corrupt, it is necessary to clean your system and try to reinstall again.

Is the Canon iP2600 that printer as plugged in USB?

You say that ' no updates Windows 7 or changes ", you have automatic updates is turned off? Please make sure that your Windows updates are up-to-date.

When you install a USB printer, it is recommended that you disconnect the other USB printers during installation. In this way, the computer does not confuse the two and installs the correct driver.

You unplug the Canon before reinstalling the HP Deskjet printer?

I suggest to try the following steps in the following order for best results.

  • I had a paper jam. I removed the paper from the front. Now, printing is blurred. Do not print color

    HP Officejet 6500 all-in-one

    Hello jeanneTemkin,

All by removing the jammed paper from the printer something may have gotten potted in the printer causing the blurred impression. There are a ton of troubleshooting not to go into that might solve the problem, so for me to document all alone in a forum post would make for a very long page.

Here is a link to an article that deals with the HP troubleshooting print quality problems

    Troubleshooting print quality problems

I jump a few sections as some of the steps will not apply to you. Assuming you are using Windows, I suggest that this section ""Solution 6: print and evaluate a Print quality Diagnostic Report ' and, from there, depending on how the diagnostic report quality comes out will determine the next steps. "

If the article does not help to solve your problem then if you could provide me with information a bit more as this model of printer you use.  The Officejet 6500 has quiet a few models. There are the E709n E709a, E709q, E710a and the E710n. Although for the most part very similar there are differences in lag that can make a difference in the steps to your question.  Also know what operating system will help determine appropriate measures, even though there is no much difference for this issue if you use Vista or Windows 7, it is if you are using Windows 7 compared to a Mac.

I would like to know how the article works for you and then to provide the additional information if required.

  • Please help: blurred the photos sent to the print providers.

I edited my images in Photoshop. They look incredible. When I save in jpeg format in my computer, they look amazing. When I go to download on Wal-Mart to make a poster printed in any size, or even a regular 4 X 6, they look blurry and low resolution. Horrible. I tried to save in any format, but most of them will not be displayed even for me to find once I recorded. For example, I have save as tiff. When I go to Wal-Mart or any site to download, the image isn't even in some formats. Help, please! It makes me crazy!

A file that the resolution would be 7400 px by 4800 px and would come close to 100 MB. When you look in Image > Image size

    What do you see?

If you send the 4 x 6 small file to your inkjet printer, it's blurred? If this is not the case, your printing service cannot get the files correctly.

You could discuss with Wal-Mart in person. They should be able to tell what is the problem with the file. If they can't, try another printer.

As long as you know how to use Photoshop and save files, then it wouldn't be malfunction of Photoshop.

  • When I export a PDF document, half of my text is blurred in the Viewer. However, it prints very well. No idea how to fix?

I have created a PDF file and for some reason when I discovered in Acrobat Pro or Adobe Reader half of my text is blurry. I tried to export a handful of different ways the two spectators. The text is blurred, but it prints fine both players. What is the reader, the user with the pixelation, CMYK, RGB error? I have really no idea. Is attached a screenshot of what it looks like. I export from Indesign features of illustrator files are linked and printing very well. I'm working on a MacBookPro and my printer is an Officejet 6700.

    Screen Shot 2014-12-23 at 7.56.47 PM.png

I have fixed the problem. It was something with the color of the text and the values of k. I pointed out all of the text in the text box, including the text that is not blurred and made sure to transform any return to the true black with no line. From there on, I changed my text in blue to the color I got it. Exported without maximum loss at 300ppi. everything seems to work properly and now the PDF is superb in the Viewer.
