Blutooth not stay connected 17 t J000 touchsmart victory 8.1

I have a portable j000 17 t quad which is 2 months old.  Last week I tried to connect my phone to the computer via bluetooth.  I am running windows 8.1.   OK, I get 2 devices to connect for a few seconds to a minute, and then the computer says not connected.   It shows the lg800 phone in bluetooth settings as not connected.  At some point when I would delete the device I would get information matching... At this point if I'm trying in bluetooth setting to remove it it fails.  However if I go to device manaager under Bluetooth I can remove it, and then go to devices and remove and it disappears then in bluetooth setting.   Reboot and try to connect phone to the computer and it shows device in bluetooth definition says not connected and I do NOT get the information matching.   My phone gives me the code for pairing and trying to connect.  During this period in bluetooth setting device shows its connected.  Mobile phone coming to expiration and bluetooth settings now say not connected.

The phone that I'm trying to connect is a Tracfone LG800g.

Any suggestions on how I can get this set up correctly?

Edit if I hit the logo of the window and then press R and run services.msc and look under bluetooth support service it does not work... If I try to launch it I get error 1079 the account specified for this service is different from the account specified for other services running in the same process.

How can I fix this error?

I just wanted to say thank you to OrnahP to have connected me with the correct support team at HP!

The support team seems very nice to work with.  They wanted to test things to see if I could connect the phone and computer with windows 8.0.  Because this would show if my problem was associated driver.   Yes everything works fine with victory 8.0 it's 100% a problem of windows 8.1 driver.

By my post above, I believe that the new updated online driver does not work correctly due to the fact that during the uninstallation bluetooth via under software control panel is not 100% delete everthing. Only parts...

Support requested for 2 hours looking for this problem and said they would get back to me then.  I will edit this post with the results when I get them.

Edit

After that play more around, I actually found things worked for computer that connects to the phone.  The PROBLEM IS that how bluetooth works without giving any information on the changes, they have changed.  Basically to connect the only way to do it is through "File Explorer".  NOT through bluetooth settings or devices and printers etc..   I get a msg on the phone that the computer is trying to connect.  I want it.  I put it this way for safety.

Problem now connects the phone to the computer and transfer photos etc.   I don't receive any message on phone, try to connect to the computer so phone does not connect and I get screen to try again.    Solution here seems to be to wait for new drivers of bluetooth being released.

  • iPhone will not stay connected to the internet?

    * Posted on MacRumors forums but no answers *.

So basically since a few days my phone sometimes don't remain not connected to the internet network of BT-Hub3. I connect to it and then sometimes, it will stay connected for a minute for a few seconds and then disconnect. When I go to the wifi thing it seems available to connect to. After a couple of times that to happen, it will say wrong password (this is the password) and disconnect me and then I have to type the password. Repeat to infinity. It's honestly so frustrating.

Sometimes it will stay and be fine but his is happened twice in the last few days and never happened before with any phone I've had.

I try my phone with my BT-Hub4 internet network and it will stay connected. The only problem with this is that the internet is further (bottom), so has a low connection that does not charge anything unless I lean on my bed.

Initially, I assumed my internet pick, but I'm typing this I am connected to the network BT-Hub3 without disconnect him, even once.

I had the phone for a year and 2 months (previous owner had since October/November/December in the year of release) and recently got a replacement of the unofficial battery if this of any help. I also still have my phone on the low power mode. The phone always properly connect to the BT-Hub3 network even with unofficial battery and low power however mode.

I had several other problems with the phone (camera, apps download not heat no reason apparent, random battery drains despite the new battery in just 3 months and has the same problem with the battery, slow Touch ID that apparently is not normal), which most recently happened.

I had all the settings to reset a week or two ago but surely if who messed with my settings internet I would have had the internet issue earlier? Not sure if I should try to reset the network settings. I hate this and only do if I need to.

One last note, I have the latest version of iOS so ignore saying his 9.3.2 on

    Hi pinkdolphins0400,

Thanks for posting in the communities of Support from Apple! I understand that you are having problems with your iPhone does not stay connected to your internet connection at home. I use my home Wi - Fi network to stay connected, so I use all the cell data, if I can understand wanting to make sure that you are able to stay in touch. I am pleased to provide you with a few suggestions for you.

The first thing I recommend you do is follow the steps described in the following article. It seems that you have already experienced some of these steps, but I want to be sure that you have covered everything.

If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch connects to a Wi - Fi network

Since you mentioned that your iPhone will stay connected to your network to another, you can take a look at the network settings for the one that you are having problems staying connected to. Article below provides information about network configurations suggested for Apple devices. You can also check with the manufacturer for your BT 3 - Hub see if there are updates that must be performed. This can cause problems with disconnects.

Recommended settings for the WiFi routers and access points

For other problems you mentioned (apps do not download, camera, battery draining, contact ID, etc.) reset settings was a big step in troubleshooting to try. If these things are always happening, I recommend making a backup of your iPhone and then restore it via iTunes. The backup will ensure that your data is saved. When you perform the restore via iTunes, you'll want to set up as a new device (temporarily), and then test it. Once you test, you can try to restore your backup. You can find all of the information below, you will need.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings

  • OfficeJet Pro X476dw: Officejet Pro X476dw will not stay connected!

I've been struggling with my printer is connected via the wireless connection.  Recently, I thought it may be the firewall and had my disable the firewall administrator (which did not help).  I have several devices working on my wireless network, and none of them (with the exception of the HP printer) have no problem to stay connected.

    Here are the questions:

    • When I am able to connect to the wireless printer, sometimes it says connected but still does not print.
    • Connects and disconnects randomly.  So I go back in the connection process.
    • Sometimes when connection it does not recognize / 'see' my router, which is 2 feet away.  I turned off my whole system and rebooted and the printer still does not recognize the network.

I did the following, with no relief:

    • Close my entire system (computer, modem, printer and router) and restarted.
    • Uninstalled and reinstalled the printer.
    • Reset printer factory (to start).
    • Recycled turned off and rebooted my router.
    • Confimred my router had the latest Firmware.
    • Ran each diagnosis available through HP and all he says is that it is not connected (duh!)

    My hardware is as follows:

    HP Probook s 4540, running Windows 10 (64)

    OfficeJet Pro X476dw

    ASUS AC3100, RT-AC88U router

Please respond with any ideas/suggestions.  I really like this printer for my small business when it's working, but at this point if I can't get this resolved fine goodwill that I can't spend more time trying to get it operational.

Thank you for your time and help!

Thanks for the clarification!  I'll take a look and respond back!

  • Firefox Sync will not stay connected.

Whenever I open Firefox, it I set up my account to sync again by typing my username and password sync key. I was under the impression that the sync account could stay connected. Anyone else know of this problem and how to fix?

    The solution I found is:

In the Firefox Options under the Privacy tab:

If you have the option checked to 'Clear history of Firefox closing': go into settings and uncheck the "saved Passwords" under the data section.

Seems to be the only data that needs to 'remember' Firefox for synchronization to work.

I have a xps from windows running under windows 7. The wifi on my computer has not worked recently. Actually the icon says its connected but the internet wont work. This happens on and outside ALL THE TIME. I school from 2 weeks, so I need this problem.

    HELP PLEASE.

Hello! If you are the only one to experience problems connecting to your network, then please provide the following: Type of network security and Modem/Router marks the last time that Windows Update has been made.

In fact, it may be several reasons for this. Here is a list of things you can try to see if it solves your problem. However, some solutions may need you to access the settings of modems. If you have need of assistance with that, please let me know.

    Move your computer

    • This may be the most common problem. Sometimes, you're just too far away from your modem/router. Even if you're only room far, your walls might be concrete or brick, making the signals emitted by the difficult to access modem/router from your laptop. Moving to a place that is free of obstruction. If this does not resolve the problem, please continue reading.

    Restart your Modem/Router

    • Usually located at the back of the modem/router is either a red button or pin hole which will reset the modem/router. If it's a pin hole, then you'll need a paper clip or something of the same size to be inserted into the hole. Please make sure the hole is labeled as "Reset" or something similar, because we do not want to push through the holes randomly. Just press this button we and your modem/router restarts (usually). After that he started again, try to connect.

    Change the Security Type

    • If you have access to the settings of the modem/router, then try to change the Security Type. This is usually located under the Wireless tab or something similar. You will find the "Security Type" and change that to something that it is not currently. For example, if it is set to WPA2-PSK, change it to WEP, or Openand vice versa for temporary test. If your computer will connect then, then there may be a missing for the Type of security certificate.

    Change your IP settings

    • There are some cases where your IP address may conflict with your internet connection. To access these settings, click the network icon in the system tray. Then click Open Network and Sharing Center.
    • Now click on change adapter settings on the left side of the network and sharing Center

    • Now right click on wireless network connection

    • Now select Properties. After that, look for Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click Properties.

    • You should now see a window similar to this one.
    • Make sure that you must obtain an IP address automatically selected. In my case, I set a static IP address for my PC of automatic IP disputes. To do this, you will need to know your default Gateway and an IP address that is not used by any other wireless device. In most cases, the default gateway is 192.168.0.1 or 10.0.0.1. Your default gateway is the IP address, you type in to access the settings of the Modem/Router. Also make sure you have selected DNS server automatically get an address .

(Moderator note: title was "network programs network networking Internet Web site Site Web Web Site URL")

My Dell laptop that was purchased in March, 2012, had no problems to connect to the internet until recently.  Now it connects the morning, but stop connection from about 18:00.  Why is happening.  My router is Lynksys.

    Margaret,

I guess that your laptop will connect to your wireless router.

If your laptop loses connectivity each day at roughly at the same time (18:00), then the problem could be due to the interference of the networks your neighbor's wireless.

There is a setting in your router for the channel to use for traffic wireless (channel 0 to 11).

If you can find this setting, then change it. The best channels to use (with less interference) are 0, 6, and 11. Your router is probably set to one of these three (but can be assigned to any channel between 0 and 11). Change the string parameter (and try 0, 6 or 11... that we're different from the one that is currently in your router).

If you can't control the settings of your router, try to do a google search on the brand of your router (linksys), model and word settings... you should be able to find a description on how to change the settings.

If you want to get into more technical details, use the free utility called inSSIDer... it can be used to see exactly what interference your wireless router is your neighbors... to help see you in the selection of a channel which is not used by your neighbors.

#1, try the FTP mode passive switching power in the definition of your remote server site.

#2 with the exception of a handful of gaming sites, Flash is a web technology dead.  It is not taken care of by iPhone, iPad, iTouch, Android, etc...  I don't recommend to use Flash for anything these days.  Better to use HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS level 3.
