  • Firefox does support java applets if the "next generation plugin" is disabled via the control panel of the Java plugin.

I'm still trying to get a definitive answer to this question.
My applet is not 'Next Generation in line'. When we run our applet in Internet Explorer, it works very well as long as we disable the "next generation Plugin" via the Java plug-in Control Panel. However our applet does not work in Firefox if the cmdlet-the next generation"is disabled.

It is a requirement that is I want to run an applet in Firefox 3.6.x or higher that the "next generation plugin" be activated via the control panel of the Java plugin.

The current versions of Firefox (3.6 or later version) can only run Java applets through the next generation plugin.

But I put t know if this model is it and if yes - anyone can help with a link to drivers?

    Hello

There is a simple way to check if the laptop was equipped with internal BT module.

All laptops with BT module received a BT label at the bottom of the unit.

In order to check inside if that label exists. If this isn't the case, then the BT is not available.

  • BONES of Firefox does not appear correctly. It seems that the CSS and JS are not rendered. Any help would be most appreciated!

I would have preferred someone show a screenshot of the web pages, but it is not a file attach on this forum. In any case, with only Firefox OS, not my other browsers, web pages didn't properly. For example on Facebook, there is no header or footer. JS is enabled in the browser, and like I said Chrome and Safari are NOT having problems. I'm surmising that the CSS and JS files are somehow not displayed. I can be very wrong, but I would accept with gratitude any help anyone has to offer. Thank you and have a great day!

  • Is Satellite A100-233 does support Bluetooth?

    Hello
I have the Satellite A100-233. Can I establish internal bluetooth adapter in this model?

    Thank you

    Hello

All laptops with adapter BT have a BT tag at the bottom of the unit.
If your device has no label of BT, so the BT adapter has not been installed.

As recommended in the previous announcement, you can use an external solution as a USB BT's key. It is very easy to use.

  • Firefox does not load.

Firefox does not load. I have installed Kaspersky Internet Security and everything was working fine until it wasn't. I then uninstalled Kaspersky, but Firefox still load.

Since I love Firefox I restored my computer to an earlier state and that fixed everything, then I installed another Kaspersky product and everything was perfect. Now the problem is back.

I don't know if the problem is on the side of Kaspersky or Firefox, but I would prefer not to restore again and I have no more troubleshooting ideas.

Firefox starts in safe mode of Windows.
When I double click on the Firefox icon the mouse indicates the load of the FF, but then, it does not start. Chrome starts very well.
Contacted Kaspersky, but their first troubleshooting tip didn't work.
Under Event Viewer, I can see the details of the accident for Firefox, but I can't read and I do not know if they are related to the FF does not.

I'm agree with unintelligible Firefox and then put it back, but I don't want to lose my bookmarks, modules, themes, etc.

    Any ideas would be appreciated!

You can start Firefox in its own Mode safe? Hold SHIFT and start Firefox: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-firefox-issues-using-safe-mode#w_how-to-start-firefox-in-safe-mode. You could at least make backups of Mode without failure. I heard wrong with anti-banner Kaspersky features, if you can try to disable browser protection components in Kaspersky to see if he can coexist with Firefox on your system or not.

If you need to back up things without starting Firefox, go to your profile folder http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_folder_-_Firefox#Windowsand copy. It must contain everything down to your history of bookmark backups and extension settings.

  • Firefox does not start - claims that it is already open

Firefox does not start. He claims to be already running, but that doesn't seem to be the case.

I tried to create a new user profile, but when I try to open Firefox now, the menu "choose user profile". I tried the new profile and they old, and both give the same error message. "Firefox is unable to use the"Default user"profile because it is in use. To continue, close the Runspace of Firefox or choose a different profile. »

There is an entry for firefox.exe in the menu of "details" to my task manager and nowhere else. When I try to put an end to this task, I get the following error: "the operation could not be performed - access denied."

Due to some troubleshooting research, I tried to delete the parent.lock my profile folder, but I get this error: "the action cannot be completed because the file is opened in Firefox."

I tried to transfer my bookmarks and preferences from Firefox to Chrome, but I had a similar error suggesting that Firefox was already open and I have to close first.

I also turned off my computer and uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox several times.

I'd really rather not lose all my bookmarks Firefox, modules, and preferences. I also prefer to use Firefox for Chrome, so if anyone can help me I would really appreciate it. I don't know what else to try.

My PC runs Windows 10, incidentally.

Try to delete the parent.lock file in the Firefox profile folder.

    See:

Try to create a new shortcut on the desktop Firefox and maybe to reinstall Firefox via a clean reinstall (i.e. remove the Firefox program folder).

If you cannot remove the Firefox program folder and then try to rename this file to "Mozilla Firefox.old".

    • (32-bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"

Start the computer in Mode safe mode with network support Windows (on the startup screen, press F8) to see if that helps.

  • Firefox does not take into account the settings in/etc/hosts Mac Mavericks

Firefox sees only the first entry, defined in/etc/hosts to 127.0.0.1.

Basically, Firefox does not see the changes to the DNS entries, that I made in/etc/hosts. Chrome is. However, later, I noticed that Safari is not to see them. After troubleshooting below, I solved the problem by moving all my/etc/hosts statements to different lines according to them here: http://www.justincarmony.com/blog/2011/07/27/mac-os-x-lion-etc-hosts-bugs-and-dns-resolution/

I have no idea why that works. But it does not resolve the problem for Firefox and Safari.

I have tried a number of things according to this thread: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1011327

I tried many things (typing about: config in the address bar):
    Set keyword.enabled false
    browser.fixup.alternate.enabled set to false
    tour of DNS caching.

None of these things worked, but did all my config/etc/hosts the migration of multiple domains on a single line to separate lines. Hope this helps someone.

  • Firefox does not recreate or modify prefs.js

After you delete prefs.js file Firefox does not create a new.

Firefox does not save my settings so I tried all the method described in the following articles:

    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save
    https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/how-to-fix-preferences-wont-save#w_unable-to-save-any-preferences-or-settings

Finally, I completely uninstalled FF, remove the installation of FF directory and moved my old profile.
FF reinstalling did not help in any way.
After the reinstallation, the preferences have been saved always not so I deleted the file profs.js.
When I run Firefox it does not create a new file profs.js and of course my setting are not always saved

    What can I do? change?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

  • Firefox does not delete browsing history in the address bar

No matter what you with Firefox in clearing the browser history by going to the history-> delete history, recent and all delete or reset FF by accessing information from troubleshooting, Firefox does not browsing history. The Web site you have traveled still appear in the address bar.

Several people have already complained about this (see thread https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/939028) and the response from the staff of Firefox is that it is be a malware. That's not true, I've seen versions of Firefox in own computers Windows and Mac with Firefox, do the same thing, or rather not do what it is supposed to do: clean browsing history.

How dangerous is that. Where your privacy? Firefox must find a way to fix this glitch. Something tells me they do it on purpose because it has not been fixed after him complains.
