• Title of the book and the cover do not appear! Help, please!

  So I recently fought a NookColor. I downloaded and saved a lot of epubbud.com books on my computer and then them open in Adobe Digital Editions. The titles, authors and covers were bad so I changed their software Adobe Digital Editions manifest.xml, but when I reported the books on my Nook and ejected my Nook and open files, they were wrong! The titles were the bad original and cover on the home screen appears as a white white square. (For example, I downloaded "I'm the Vampire, that's why" and appeared as "in1" in Adobe Digital Edition and with an unknown author.) I've changed that in the manifesto of the right pair, but once downloaded in my corner, it always appears as "in1") is anyway to fix this?

  Yes, you can correct the title in the book.  EPUB is .zip files and there will be a .opf file that is an xml document that has a metadata element that has an element of dc:title.

  Alternatively, you can use the gauge and make an epub conversion epub which should correct the title and the cover image - but I don't know how it will work on a DRM protected book.

  I had to update windows, then Thunderbird. I'm trying to restore my address book and such internal records only sent and saved. I have backup, but I can't find the files into it.

  What operating system? What program are you printing from?  If you print from 2016 Word click file, view, Options, Print Options, and uncheck the Print Options of the Document, OK.  Other versions of Word would be similar.

  

• Dell U2414Hb with Microsoft surface book and the docking station works do not reliably

  I recently bought two monitors Dell U2414H to work with my book surface and surface dock. The monitors to work reliably for a while (sometimes up to 3 or 4 hours) then suddenly one or two will be turned off and the display will switch to the surface for a second book or two and then return to the monitors. Sometimes, the system can go through a unstable stage of switching between monitors and books surface exposure 30 times or more within a period of 5 minutes.

  I have been searching for a solution and found the following page on the Microsoft website that indicates there is a known issue.

  Problem =
  * When the Surface book is anchored and double are connected using DisplayPort multistreaming (daisy chain), one or two screens will not be recognized after restart or power cycling the book surface. In both cases, the resulting no video appearing on external displays.
  * Some displays will expose rip video on the secondary display, what installation using DisplayPort multistreaming (daisy chain).
  * A view not to return to video mode displayed after recovering from power save mode.

  Workaround short term =
  Surface CDM Dock on--> Dell mDP to DP cable--> #1 off DP (DP 1.2) monitor
  Surface book CDM on--> Dell mDP to DP cable--> #2 off DP (DP 1.2) monitor

  Long term = solution
  We still see a lot of questions with our instructors and Surface products. Microsoft is supposed to work on a special connector dongle that enhances the process of link training to increase the power of the signal has negotiated with external monitors. As to when this will be available, which is unknown by Dell.

  Hello - I have a jpeg file from a digital camera that I saved as photo.psd with a size of original Document of 44 "x 66" @ 72 DPI of resolution.

  I use CS3, and I want to prepare the image for printing while maintaining the best possible quality. The first thing I've done was uncheck resampling. Then I changed the resolution to 300. This gave me a 10,56 15.84 x Document size.

  I want to increase the size of the Document to be 16 "x 24" (the same proportions). So it seems to me that the next step must now verify the resampling and put in my new 16 "x 24" Document format. I would apply then a few unsharp mask as desired.

  So, is it Ifollow steps above or do you recommend a different workflow?

  I read that Photoshop will be n very well up to 200% and all I need is 166%, so it should work ok. Also, do you recommend standard bicubic and bicubic smoother?

  What you are suggesting will work, even if you don't really need to do it in several steps.  A single step, with resampling check, once you set all the fields you want, will do the trick.

  And for all the hype and mystery surrounding the two alternative choices for resampling, in all my works for minor resampling I always find that I prefer the original Photoshop bicubic method.  To increase the extreme resolution personally, I prefer only a plug-in called Genuine Fractals.

  Also, modern print drivers become very good at matching size...  If the quality of the image in your file is to your liking, you COULD just set the size in inches (without resampling) printing and do with it.  This would give an image to less than 300 pixels/inch resolution, but you would save some work, and it may well be that you will not be able to see a difference in leaving the pilot to make the resampling as needed.

  Hello Lisa,.

  It's more to do with the word processor on Windows. You don't say what word processing software you use. If you use WordPad which comes free with Windows, it is impossible to do what you want to do. However, if you are using Microsoft Office Word (that you can buy) then the CAP is set by default.

Please, it's kind of emergency because the customer is really concerned about these aspects of the transfer of data in incremental loads. As always, appreciate your quick response.   For your first 3 questions, it depends on the DATE of LAST UPDATE in the main tables in the source system. This differs a little through the various systems of source, but in general, if the source system table has a 'Update Date' which is used as a filter for the load increment SQL qualifier, then he will grab this record... and if you have Type 1 SCD, the whole line is updated for all areas. If you have a Type 2 SCD enabled, then ONLY the dimension columns that are part of the TYPE2_DIFF will be result in end dating the existing record and the Iinserting a NEW record. So the SCD Type 2, to see if additional columns should be added to capture the story. OOTB only the records in the TYPE2DIFF are compared for the capture of history.

  For your other questions:

  A: Yes, Dims are usually responsible first for each star schema. Note, however, that there are sometimes persistent implementation stage and other auxiliary tables for facts which can be loaded but that if STUMP in general Yes, before the FACTS.

  A: If you NEED capture history on these custom tables, you can do this w custom changes made on the side of the DW via Informatica. If you do not need history then I don't see the problem with the reloaded each time... you have a large amount of data? If not, then why is it a problem?

  I had to apply RUP23 a few weeks ago (for minimum 11i extended support) and I have applied all the patches in the Readme + in the doc. So I'd say go with what I suggested above.
