• Bootcamp (Win7) missing after upgrade to El Capitan

  My iMac early 2009 (one of the 4 Macs in my office) has lost his Boot Camp partition after upgrade to OS 10.11. the 1 TB drive keeps 783 GB as Untitled in disk utility, but the icon is missing from the office and it does not appear in the start window options.  I don't want to wipe o as Win 7 teacher was OEM and I Revit and Autocad licenses on it.  I can do something so he relocated it?  I have the same problem with my Macbook Pro of retina.

  Please answer a few questions to refine the question.

  1 are you referring to the "documents" folder in Windows thelibrary?

  2. did you check the exact location of the folder "documents" in Windows 7?

  3. from which operating system you have upgraded to Windows 7?

  4. have you received an error during the upgrade to Windows 7?

  Method 1:
  

  As was the Document and Settings folder in Windows XP Pro in Windows 7 does not have access to any user, as it is a protected file. The folder you're talking has now been replaced in Windows 7 with the USERS folder. And you can also access the folders of documents in libraries. You can search the documents folders in C:/Users/user_name.  If the problem persists, proceed to the next step.

  Method 2:

  $INPLACE. ~ TR and $WINDOWS. ~ Q are leftover folders created by Windows during the upgrade process, if there is no error while upgrading files may be saved in these files.

  Individual records will be hidden by default and you can view the folders to view the folders. You can look in the C: drive.

• Yoga 2 Pro - sleep setting missing after upgrade to Windows 10 RTM

  Here's another interesting event. I use sleep mode all the time, that's what happens "when I close the lid. After upgrade Windows 8.1 for Windows 10 RTM, "standby mode" is not found. "when I close the lid" and related parameters in power management have an empty selection, sleep does not appear in the drop-down list of choices. It seems revenue to "Put to sleep" by default. By reading the other Windows 10 forums I know sleep is supported in Windows 10, how can I get that back? I tried to download and install the latest driver for power management (as dated 17/07/2015, I think) but I get the message that "you already have a newer version of the driver installed", I cancelled out of the facility. Are there newer drivers planned for soon? I can shoot with Microsoft Basic Display Driver (3200 x 1800 only, see my other ad in the forum), although I used a different resolution in Windows 8.1 and hibernate instead of mode 'sleep', but I hope that these features will work soon. • Organize bookmarks is missing after upgrade to version 4.0. Where is he?

  When I click on bookmarks, now I have more freedom to organize my favorites. The only options are "Bookmark this page" & "show all bookmarks".

  The 'My Favorites' menu link is a file and not a page or an ARB.  Security cannot be granted to a whitelist so that it can automatically view the 'My Favorites' folder in the left menu.  The delivered permission related to the 'My Favorites' folder list is PTPT1000.  If the granting of permissions to users this list gives too much access, a list of custom permission to provide this access.

  To grant access to Favorites Add and change the links under 'My Favorites' do the following:

  1. the list of custom permission must grant full access to the PORTAL_ADMIN menu Security page PORTAL_EDIT_FAV and hardware PORTAL_ADD_FAV.

  2. go to PeopleTools-> Portal-> Structure and content-> hidden tools.  In this case, there will be two Csrsfi: 'Add to Favorites' and ' change favorite.  In these two, make sure the custom permission list shows under the tab 'security '.  It should be here, because access was given through the permissions list.

  3. navigate to PeopleTools-> Portal-> Structure and content.  Click on 'Edit' on the record 'My Favorites '.  Look at the Security tab and make sure that the custom permission list shows here.  If it is not the case, you must manually add the list of permissions.

  The folder 'My Favorites' must always be manually updated and running synchronization of security portal will not grant this access.  Another option is to make the 'My Favorites' folder 'Public' so that all users can see this folder, and security settings are not required for the folder.

• No sound for almost a year, no matter what I do, its missing after upgrade 7.3

  I have an Apple iPad 2, that the sound has disappeared after the 7.3 upgrade. I have version 9.3. Now. I tried everything to get my sound, nothing works.   Since nobody here knows what made you or not made, the only thing I can do for you is to take a shot at what could be the issue.

  I'll obviously, first of all.

  Older IPads have a tiny cursor along the bottom right when viewing on the iPad to landscape with the home left button.

  This tiny slide can be programmed, in settings, general and Panel in the colunm right hand with the side key for the rotation of the screen or its mute.

  Have you tried this switch to see if it works for the rotation of the screen or its dumb and if for the rotation of the screen, have you changed the setting of the switch, in the application settings for mute, instead and tried to use the switch again?

  Have you tried button mute audio in slide iOS Panel, by tapping on the button mute on / off?

  Tried an another hard reset of your iPad by pressing the sleep/wake and Home buttons simultaneously until your iPad goes to black and restarts with the Apple logo and then release the buttons?

• Drive letter missing after upgrade to Windows 7

  After the Vista Premium upgrade to Windows 7, the letter of partition and recovery disk do not appear in Windows Explorer.

  Have you installed just Win7 upgrade or maybe clean install of Win7?
  I updated several laptop computers, and something like that doesn't happen. Just if you have deleted the existing partition.

  By the way: there is no recovery partition. Recovering files is saved in the folder HDDRecovery on the second partition of HARD drive.

• WinDVD8 Application missing after upgrade to Vista

  I wonder if anyone can help me with this? I upgraded earlier this year to Vista. Insturcitons from Toshiba for upgrade you to uninstall WinDVD 8 before the upgrade. That and of course now I cannot apply updates the original application is missing. I searched high and low on the Toshiba site for the WinDVD softare with no luck. I can't use the dsk recovery because it's for Windows XP tablet edition.

  I tried to look for WinDVD as well, I couldn't find it anywhere. There is perhaps a framework legal reason Toshiba cannot download it.

  Anyway, there are alternatives. AVS DVD Player is ok, or you can use Media Player Classic with a MPEG2 codec.

• Bootcamp missing after upgrade to El Capitan

  Hi, I want to run Windows so that I can remove the ADS 'files' associated with the files I transferred to a Windows computer for Mac Pro (mid-2010) I.

  After the upgrade to El Capitan (or perhaps Yosemite, as I haven't used bootcamp for awhile) bootcamp will no longer appear when I hold 'alt' when starting.

  I use NTFS for Mac OS X by Paragon and the bootcamp partition appears in the Finder, and the files are accessible.

  I have a backup time machine in Mac OS X I have an El Capitan USB drive Installer.

  Disk0 is an SSD that would 744,91 for OS X and 253 GB of bootcamp.

  I read the posts here who have a similar problem, but my system seems to have an additional problem with a partition OS X 'extra' appearing in the readings (see below) that should not be there.
