Hello, the menu display of the library does not change available to the bookmarks themselves (but only allows you to view them temporarily sort by certain criteria). to organize alphabetically, right click on a folder of bookmarks and select "sort by name".

but there is no sorting by name in the droip to the bottom of the box when I right click on a folder of bookmarks, but I finally found the folder and fact as sort by name showed so I click it and closed the bookmark, then reopened, but has not changed?

I found the answer in an addon for firefox in
Auto-trier bookmarks 1.6, so I downloaded and now its ok, but is not
mentioned in the support pages

  • In Fox 15.0, how do I easily put my favorites in alpha order, all I see in the help is too old?

HE wants to help can be easily put in Favorites in alphabetical order. I have all the files, just a long list of bookmarks. I am a novice in computerese, so I need very simple step by step instructions.

I looked at the help section for this problem, but I found it was for older versions of Firefox, a lot of threads that have been closed and the references to the addons that are no longer available. I have Firefox 15.0 at present. Have a PC, not Mac and have Vista as an operating system.

Things will be easier to find if you create some folders to categorize.

To sort by alphabetical name, open the Bookmarks window with "Show all bookmarks" in the bookmarks menu, in the toolbar, choose views > sort > sort by name, then A > Z for ascending or Z > A to order descending. You can also organize the bookmarks in the order you want by dragging and dropping them in this window.

  • Help not in alpha order when the user clicks on the key word in the Index

When I test my index finger in a generated Webhelp project, the topics associated with the keyword that I click are not willing to be placed in alphabetical order, but randomly.

When I click on the same keyword, in RoboHelp (in the Index before the generation) project, the topics are arranged correctly.

Is there a setting in RoboHelp or Internet Explorer that would straighten out this point, or is it just a bug of RoboHelp?

Using RoboHelp 8 and IE 8.

    Thank you

Hi, John D. He is John D.

You can manually "rearrange the Perfect file" as you describe to achieve the desired order. Some notes of clarification are added below:

    1. I doubt if your Perfect file is corrupt (although all things are possible.) The Perfect file is an xml text file and easily modified with Notepad.
    2. Of course, you want to back up your original first before editing.
    3. You cannot delete the Index in the designer and recreate it on the fly as simply as the use of the automatic table of contents that uses the folder structure. The only way to create an "Automatic Index", is to use the smart Index Wizard. But most of the people who can't find useful because it takes more time to use it properly. It is best to create it from scratch. In addition, this would not solve your question alphabetical.
    4. I stuck a test below where I added an alpha character in each topic title directly in the XML, as shown. (In other words, I do not add the alpha character to the real title tag in the subject.) It works as advertised WebHelp output.
    5. Interestingly, it does not in the MS HTML Help .chm version. It's because Microsoft uses the title of the topic to form the text of the displayed entry.
    6. It's not a bug, because a large number of process is governed by Perfect original format of Microsoft. But it would be an interesting feature request (signature of Rick above)

Here's what the output of WebHelp appears for the two Index entries:

And, the MS HTML Help CHM:

    Happy alphabetical order!

  • How to manually put in the order of my photos?

    Hello.

When I import my pictures, I can manually put in order. Is this possible?

To sort your files in the desired order, it is possible to create an album and choosing "command." Then, you can select the photos in the display area and move them, classify them as you wish.

It's like creating a playlist of audio files.

In recent versions (12 and 13), the available sort orders are:

-chronological by date (ascending or descending)

    -By 'import batch.

    -by file name.

When I Watch clips in the icon view that they are in good condition!

So now when I try to put on the timeline it up my latest music video first. Is there an easy way to reverse the order in the list view to the way in which I initially imported? I don't want to have to import all the clips.

    Thank you!!

  • Panel - quickly find a layer object?

Layers panel - there are say, 100 + items in a layer...

So, on the page select an object... now, scroll through the layers (in the layers panel) to find is practically impossible (big PIA)... Yes, is there a keyboard shortcut or a quick way to identify this particular item in the Panel?

Take a look in the menu layer flying range. There is a command called "Object of research" or something similar.

  • How can I change the sort order in the finder / media / photos?

When I want to open a photo in an application I can access photos via the media / photos. The sort order is ascending. I want that the descending sort order. Where can I do this? Thanks for the reply! Christian

You can click right in the grid of thumbnails and choose to display it as a list. You can then sort the columns by clicking on them.

I don't know of a way to get to another level by default.

  • Try to attach photos to an email on Hotmail, but when I open the file, they were put in alphabetical order, and not chronological order I want. Can I change this?

Hello.   I'm trying to attach photos to an email on Hotmail.  When I open the folder where I want to download the pictures, they are all placed alphabetically.  I want to arrange them in the order, they were taken, which I can do by going in "My pictures", but when I pull the file upwards again in Hotmail, they are given in alphabetical order.  Any ideas?

    Hello Oilfan,

Thank you for your message.  Since there are two ways to attach photos in Hotmail, I assume you are using the 'Attach' > 'File' version instead of "attach" > version "Photo".  To sort the folder to your liking, you can click right in the pane where you see your files > Highlight ' rearrange icons by "> select" Photos taken we.

  • How to quickly find and select a word on a brochure in Photoshop?

In Illustrator you can simply double-click the object to edit it.  In Photoshop, it seems I have to 'find' the object by clicking on all objects of different layers until I find the one I'm looking for.  Certainly there must be a better way that I don't see.

I would have understood as well a screenshot. Line instructions are not always useful:

If the move tool above is selected. I right-click in this area and get a list of the layers under cursor movement.

If I select 'Isolate Layers' in this menu, it cuts a list very long layer to what is this slider, if I need to do something with this layers like change one frame.
