bootstrap carousel-legend: must go white shadow type

Hello

I have a 5 photo slideshow, in which one of the scenes is inevitably bright, making it difficult to distinguish legend text. I need to substantially increase the black shadow (darken? expand?) who, it seems, to live in the "bootstrap" CSS 6259 range Or not... Help, please.

Best wishes

Ron Finley

Works great! Thank you very much.

  • here in the CSS of Bootstrap carousel-caption can I add additional additional indicators of circle for pix?

    Hello

We have changed our parameters of carousel-legends CSS "bootstrap" to take account of the larger type, successfully darkest shadows, etc., but can't find how to add the "circular progress buttons" that show the relative to the slide number (or get rid of the buttons in total). Help, please.

Yes, you can add more indicators to your HTML code.

    Hello world

I am creating a white shadow in illustrator on a medium color background.

    It does not appear.

The attached picture is half on the file and the other on the dark background.

Why can I not see anything, even a slight shadow on the blue-grey background?

I can't darken the background unfortunately.

    Any way to do it?

    He is Illustrator CC

    Thank you very much!!

It seems that you left your drop shadow Mode to multiply.

Change to normal, and should show your white.

The return value of a strongly typed REF CURSOR must be a folder that can be defined using % TYPE % ROWTYPE attributes or record structure.

You said the CURSOR to return a NUMBER. And as the text says, he must be a 'record '.

    >
As you said already FETCH retrieves the next line, if any. A query is a request is a request. It returns a result set. A query that uses aggregates returns a result set. A query that does not aggregate returns a result set.

Your simple COUNT (*) SELECT query returns a result set that consists of a LINE and a line a ONE COLUMN of type NUMBER. Although there is only one column in the result set, what is returned is a RECORD or a LINE. That's why you have to report your data cursor return type a document using the % ROWTYPE or % TYPE attributes or a record structure.

  • What is the practical limit to the number of images using the Bootstrap carousel?

Usually three or four images show the demos and tutorials. Can I charge realistic 107?

What kind of things can be wrong with that?

107 images should always load and very probably kill with unwanted bandwidth mobile data plans.  I would use 5-6 images in a full-sized carousel.

Maybe you should do is a gallery of thumbnails like this:

  • How to blend in with the white shadow on black part?

Can you get it someone please let me know how to subtly mix in the white part of the shadow in the background black, I created. I have two layers, one for the black background and one for the image. But I don't want to mix the bottle in the background, just the white part.

    Thank you! Susan

    shadow.jpg

Certainly work with the image in full resolution and downsize after the change.  This will reduce the imperfections in the web version (for that there will be any imperfection does not) white hard as can are better selected with the pen tool.  If you want to mix the background, I decided on a different approach.

Select the box with the pen tool.  It's a little bit of a learning curve, but an essential tool and worth the effort.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Photoshop/using/drawing-pen-tools.html

After you have created the Workpath, right-click in the Panel traced and make a selection, and copy into a new layer (Ctrl j) keep this layer at the top of the stack

Make a new layer under the cage layer and fill it black

Make a new layer between the Can and the black layer.  CTRL, click the box layer to load a selection and fill the layer with white.

Use free transform to develop the white layer so that it looks something like this: (note I have not tested this yet, so just a guess)

Now use the Gaussian blur to soften the white layer to some degree of suites.  This used a value of 100, but you'll need a value more high full resolution on your image.

There are tricks to refine the background.  CTRL f repeat the Gaussian blur, but the softer the blur becomes the thinnest layer, but you can copy the white blur layer to make it lighter.  When you are satisfied, select all the layers blur and merge them (Ctrl-e) and refine with free transform.  Now CTRL pressed while in the free transformation will allow you to drag a single corner.  in the example of the lower right was a bit too dark, so I dragged that corner down and to the right to compensate (as in the final image)

  • Distorted images of bootstrap carousel

    Hi people,

I try my hand at creating a sensitive site of bootstrap using the CSS of the carousel. http://arrowtownlodge.co.nz/new/carousel.html.

Unfortunately, the images are too wide stretch. Is there a way to make them display in the right proportion? I did a lot of reading on this and tried a few suggestions around width/height classes, but either the pictures stay is extended or the entire carousel disappears.

Thanks in advance for advice on this issue.

    JO

There was a constraint of 500px; been on the height of the image/carousel. The normal action of the carousel is to keep the aspect ratio / the same at all times, which means that, for a narrower screen sizes, the image will be shorter than for larger screen sizes.

I was not able to find the constraint of 500px, this is not a default value that's why you have put there.

  • White black type on officejet 8600 display

    This is a good...

Just bought the new Officejet 8600 and all seem ok with the establishment.  However, the first document ID I tried printing cannot print correctly.

In the document, I have a number of black areas with white type.  When it prints, the white guy goes black and so cannot be seen.  In addition, this does not happen throughout the entire document.  There are sections that change the color black and there are some who remain in the reverse position.  To complicate the problem, the color change is incompatible in the same line of text?

I contacted HP and as usual, they thought that the problem is with the identification program.

This also happens when I tried to print some old documents in place in Pagemaker.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Jim

Thanks, I tried your suggestion and it worked!

I didn't know that would be the question as a text always printed in white.

    Well... live and learn.

  • Causing problems of custom data type to deploy the shared target RT variable

I seem to have some difficulty in using a shared variable published network created from a customized data type when it is deployed as an executable on a target of cRIO RT.  I'll start by describing why I think that this is the rub.  I created my RT VI in the LabVIEW (LV 2012) development environment and everything works fine.  This VI is quite simple, because these were quickly devolved into an exercise in debugging.  The RT VI begins by simply flashing the LED to a couple of times and then starts a loop simple acquisition to read some values out of the material using the analytical engine (while still flashing the LED of the user).  After reading the material, the values are grouped in a cluster and written in a shared variable published to the network defined by a custom control type def.  The custom control contains five floats double precision.  If it's important, the RT cRIO system hosts the shared variable in this case.

So I have that deploy in the development environment, and everything works fine.  The LED flashes merrily along, telling me that the program runs correctly.  Running a VI host who reads the shared network has published variable gives the desired result.  Everything is good.

Now, I want the cRIO system to run this simple program by itself at startup.  I build, set it as start VI, deploy it, and then restart the cRIO target.  The LED never flashing... the VI doesn't seem to work.  I'll spare you the major part of the work of debugging and access to the end.  I basically "diagram Disabled" various sections of the code up to the VI began to run correctly in an executable file.  I kept reducing the size of the disabled code until something has been disabled: the writing in the shared variable for the custom data type.

So, I guess my question is this: are custom data types defined by type def would be personalized orders authorized executables to RT?  I read through the cRIO Developers Guide, my book of development in real time course of NOR and the white paper using shared Variables and I see nothing that forbids it.  I know that there are things not allowed in the executable files that are allowed in the development environment (property nodes façade, dialogue live, operating system specific calls, etc.), but no mention of the shared variable type custom data.  Any ideas as to why my VI is running in the development environment, but does not update unless I have delete the entry on the published network variable shared?

Thank you in advance for your help!

You must disconnect the data types of variables and then recompile. You can find it useful to keep on disk, a copy of the original lvlib.

Don't know if this is a bug or not. It was suggested by someone in the forum that putting the ctl files in the right position (the disk? in the draft?) would allow the rtexe start; I did a quick check and it didn't work then I dropped the tests more far.
