• Palm Tungsten E2 alert fatal

  I have a Tungsten E2, which just showed me a fatal alert message.  It reads: ' MemoryMgr.c, Line: 3732, NULL handle "and has a"Reset"button at the bottom.

  The button does not respond when I press it.

  What does that mean?  How can I fix this "fatal" without deleting all the information stored?  Or am I just S.O.L.?  There are addresses stored on this device.  I don't have a memory card for saving data.

  Press and release the tiny "Reset" button in the back of the unit.   This is called a warm reboot and should not remove all data.

• Tungsten T3/Outlook synchronization

  I have synchronized successfully my Palm Zire with Palm desktop on my computer Dell laptop for years, but recently bought a tungsten hoping to sync with Microsoft Outlook, that my company uses for email, etc.. The T3 is a beautiful model and works fine, but came with no manual. I got it in a unclaimed luggage store. When I try to sync it with my computer, the link between the computer and T3 does not open. I have the Hotsync Manager on the computer, but try this without opening Palm desktop, because I don't want to go back. Help me please know how to sync my new toy with Outlook. Thank you very much

  Make sure that your cable is connected to your computer.

  In addition, do you see the hot icon (circle with red and blue arrows) sync at the bottom right of your computer screen? Y does it have an arrow with the option "Show hidden icons"? If you do not see here, hot sync will be disabled and you will keep this message (the connection between your device and the desktop could not be established.)

  To activate the program hot sync again, click Start > programs / all > Palm OS Desktop/Palm One > Hot Sync Manager. It will take about 5 to 10 seconds and the icon will be there even once.

• Tungsten E dead

  My Tungsten E after several years just died.  The on/off switch does nothing.  Tried a soft and hard re-set, but it only goes so far.  What appears is the Palm logo bars mobile and the first screen with bubble at the bottom right and then the screen turns white.  Any suggestions to get my very useful Palm running.  Fortunately I backed up only 3 days, so all the data is in my computer.

  During the scan through this site (it's new for me), I've seen someone suggestion to try a soft reset while the PDA is connected to the charger.  It worked!  I'm embarrassed to admit that the battery was probably very low, even though I thought I had reloaded.  The warning message never came. This brings another question, that the point of contact for recharging wire is loose and she must bow so for the icon of lightning to appear on the battery icon.

• Tungsten E2... new Palm gel

  I just got this new E2 today to replace the old. I got sync would be for the existing account, everything looked and was a lot of work until I added the screen saver. Now, the touch pad does not work and it does not turn off. NADA. I've done several soft resets, nothing. So I did a hard reset, still nothing. Is the screen where you hit the target popped up put it does not record the taps. And it always turns.  I wonder if all the friction to mount the screen saver and without bubbles did hurt since it was working fine until there?

  Clues? I searched the Google Desktop Help files and saw nothing.

  I found it. Still not sure why, but for some reason the movie screen saver has been interfering. Apparently if you install the film where it located exactly the screen it interferes. I can try again and focus only on the bottom where I do all the writing.

  I once accidentally deleted the downloads icon on the very distant-bottom right of the screen, on the bottom bar, next to the trash.  I was able to put it back, but now when I download something, it does not show first.  I have to go into the downloads folder to find it.  How can I do to make the last downloaded item appears when I click on the download icon?

• How to move icons of the add-on at the helm the additional module at the bottom of the screen

  I have a number of modules, and the icons on some of them take a lot of space. So the navigation bar is stuffed full. I added the bar add-on that appears at the bottom of the screen. However, I did not understand how to get the icons module moved to the bar downstairs. I'm sure it's something very simple, but I did find the magic combination to do it again.

  I don't know if it's relevant, but I use two laptops computers Toshiba running Windows 7 and the other is Windows 10. Both are 64-bit. And it is Firefox 42.0.

  You have a menu bar, showing with file-Edit-View etc?
  If this is not the case, press the alt key to bring up.

  Hmm, Firefox should not block the taskbar, unless you are in full screen view. The F11 key toggles between the normal modes and full screen. Does make a difference?
