Box of "Rename" LR

Hello. I hope it's a simple question.  I am brand new to LR and just uploaded the latest version this morning.  On the screen where you install pictures on the right side (under the train, on the drop-down screen), there should be four boxes that appear under the "Advance" tab, but mine has one, smart 'build' previews. "  No idea why I shouldn't have the other 3 boxes?  I really need the "Rename" box.  I am at a loss. DRM for ideas.

Hi witneys,

Please right click next to "Advanced" and then you will see the options for the other 3 panels.

Also, the 'Rename files' option is in the advanced Panel, if you select the management of files as 'Copy', instead of 'Add '.

Kind regards

  • Rename the playlist

The Genius on my I pod playlist is named after the first song (why I don't know), if I try to rename and double-click on in the column on the right, all I get is; Room, shuffle, playnext, add up, and so on, but not edit box or rename as I don't know it once was, it is with the I pod connected to my MacBook. Thanks for any help.

You should be able to second-click (do not double-click) name of the Playlist to highlight in blue, then just type the new name, which will replace the old.

At the second click, highlight the title with a single click, then simply click on the title a second time, leaving a small delay between the two clicks.

Note: a double-click is to click twice quickly. Although this (should) will highlight the title in blue (which allows you to type too), it will also start operation of the Playlist, which will not be a second 'click '.

  • Is it possible to rename slices in a script?

I have a document with hundreds of icons, each made up of its own layer and each layer containing its slice.

Open the slice Options dialog box to rename slices under the same name that the layer is extremely slow, probably because I have too many slices.

So I wanted to do a script that goes through my layer and rename it to each slice it finds with the name of the parent layer.

Is this possible? I found no examples that rename a slice.

    Thank you!

    Anthony

I think I found my solution: a script that will export each of my layer as a png. Slices of this way I can eliminate my file which was causing serious slowdowns so its great!

I created a Labview graphical user interface, which calls the sequence file.

I'm able to run my VI, sequence and GUI. It all works and I am able to make my measurement of the tension of the VirtualBench.

Follow these steps to correct the error-17600 (sometimes the error-18002)

    1. Once you have generated your personalized user interface, TestExec.exe, open the project file in the LabVIEW Project Explorer and right click on the .exe file.
    2. Click Properties in the context window that appears.
    3. Click on the category of settings of the Source file on the left.
    4. Click any screws that you have added to the original project (under project at downtown records) and check the box to Rename this file during the generation and the beginning of the text add "UI_".
    5. Under project files, and then click the option of dependencies .
    6. Check the box to apply the prefix for all content items and add "UI_" in the text box.

  • Microsoft NET Framework Service Pack 1 - Code 80070017

I recently bought a second hand computer laptop for the school that my old broke and I of course checked Microsoft Update and found two important updates and an optional update, so I chose my updates and one of the important and the other optional installed fine, then I retried an improtant installation which was the net and she has not yet so I came here.

  • I want that my "recent places" icon/link back

The icon/link "Recent Places" in the Windows Explorer Navigation pane has disappeared.

I tried both 'back to the default' operations. Nothing.

I found the actual file in C:\, removed half a dozen of the corrupted files (those more than 1 mg in size). Tried by dragging the icon of "Recent places" on the Nav Pane - nada. Nothing puts the icon/link back where it belongs, under libraries.

How can I get that back?

    Right-click on the recent folder,

Click send to and click Desktop create shortcut.

    The last time :)

Click the Start button and click on your username at the top.

    Open the links folder,

Drag the shortcut created in the folder links open.

Once it is in the links folder,

    Right click and click Rename,

Click inside the box to rename and save the list of shortcuts.

If you want to drag the shortcut that is created inside the new library, you can try to.

  • Function Windows 10 name change won't go away

I have Lightroom cc and 10 Windows. Often when I hit the G shortcut, a box to rename happens will not go away unless I actually rename the image (random). (OK, cancel or x features do not work). I have to go into the Task Manager escape.

This would indicate that there is something wrong with the hardware on your system. I can't reproduce what you are experiencing. I use Lightroom CC 2015 on Windows 10.

  • Rename images that I download ("Save as" dialog box)?

Is it possible to download an image in Firefox for Android and rename it immediately?

I'm a lot of webcomics on a regular basis and save favourite pages, i.e. the images. In order to be able to organize these images of comic book later, I need the ability to rename files. Switching in the download to rename for each file but directory would be very invasive for webcomic reading, so I need a dialog box "Save as" style.

Dolphin provides such a dialogue by choosing 'Save Image', but I prefer to use firefox for synchronization features.

There are no plans for this Interface on Firefox for Android. Could be a good extension, however.

  • Save as dialog box slow to create, rename folders

When you create a folder in any window save as with any program the interface stalls for about a minute. In fact, even right click in ANY other window that Windows Explorer itself causes the program to stall. So, whenever I want to create a folder when you save a file, or rename a file or folder, I must first of all open the Explorer and then back to the desired program and browse to the new location.

She did not used to be the case. I turned Windows Search because I thought that indexing could be the cause of the problem but nothing helped.

What could be the problem and how can it be solved?

Think about the answer given does not address the issue, I've seen this phenomenon and seen it discussed in several forums.

A good suggestion is the "stall" is probably caused by what you're asking to do... i. e the list of folders in which you can save the machine, and usually causes the access time of network volumes or drives slow to take more time for a list of cached directories.  In addition, a mapped drive that is not available will cause a very long time and is the cause of this behavior. If the delay you see is probably caused by the application that attempts to find for caching records available.

Click Start--> computer and remove the network grows with a red 'X' or go to tools (press the alt key if you do not see the menu) and select network drives disconnect and then select them (those with the 'X' in red) and disconnnect the one at a time

If you can not remove the network here try drive then via the command prompt start-> type CMD in the search field and hit back or in the line to run in XP etc...

    NET use h:/d

where, instead of "h", you specify the drive that needs to be deleted.  Then restart.

A more radical approach would be to leave a cmd prompt

    NET use / persistent: no

but I think this removes all of the shares of persistent network at the next reboot.

I'm still looking, but it may be a way to change the registry so that it does not cache directories of network share, or you can alterantively does not map directories.  In both cases, try this and I think you should see an improvement in the Save in dialog box.

Either way, if you get an error that it cannot remove the share you specify you must always restart, it should have restarted.  If not, well you have a new problem in google, bing, altavista, etc using the search engine of your choice.

Good luck and stakeholders MS, please make greater efforts to meet your users... you really think that msconfig is where you want to send your users first?

  • Is there a way to rename the "object/text box" in the layer in the Panel?

I have a provision that has several near areas of text twice in the workflow in a layer, each of them with a minor copy change. What shows in the list of "items" in the layer is the first line of each (default) text box and it happens that they all start with the same text in each. Therefore, in the Panel, I have a list of several items that all look the same and I cannot differentiate between them when I click on an individual that I have them turn on and off.

I am aware that I can rename the name of the layer itself, but is it possible to rename items in the inside Panel of the layer? I'd love to rename some of them.

If this isn't the case, I guess I would have to duplicate the entire layer several times, rename the layer itself, each of them almost identical except for editing text in small characters each. Looks like it would be a lot of waste of resources and space in the file.

    Thank you
