• Giving priority to a CD in the boot of startup menu.

  I have a Veriton X4620G and tries to set startup to load from a cd if I need to use a rescue disk.

  At startup, I pressed F12 and given two options:

  I don't see any mention of an option to change the start to load from a cd.

  I had worked in Vista x 64 for more than a year and upgraded to Windows 7 x 64 Ultimate a week ago. IT has worked so far and things suddenly got completely screwed up without obvious reason. I'm into the following loop, where I can't go out:

  1. after booting, two minutes is spent with the message "waiting for Group Policy Client" (normal startup takes less than a minute).

  3. I'm connected (I am administrator), but a lot of things is false:

  This problem prevents standard users to log on the system...

  I did recently, I have not configured flashback on primary, only configured in the standby mode. I converted the standby database and restored the changes after the test. Primary database continued to send archives to the standby site. Instant once converted into sleep mode, as mseberg mentioned overlaps with the sync state after starting MRP.

  I have a question concerning the closing of RAC databases. My DEV env is a 2-node RAC cluster. I have three databases running on these two nodes. The structure is as follows.

  A: one owner data (2 node rac)
  owner b: B (2 node rac) database
  owner c: c (2 node rac) of the database

  Logged in as owner has, using srvctl I can stop databases B and C. I was wondering if there is a way to disable this process. Only the owner should be able to stop the database, IE owner should be able to close A database or a database B and C and the same for all users.
