• Looking for what software required for the Installation of Enterprise Manager

  Hi all

  I'm quite new to work with Enterprise Manager, previously used 11g Database Control, but never install Enterprise Manager (OEM). Now, due to the increase of the databases, I am planning to install OEM (Oracle Enterprise Manager) to list all the database (more than 20 Linux servers) in one place.

  I have read the documentation and still confused on what needs to be installed for the OEM. I intend to use OEM 12 c Release (12.1.0.4), my current databases are 11 GR 2 (11.2.0.4).

  Could you tell what I need to at the bottom of the list?

  1. OEM (12.1.0.4)
  2. Web logic Server (do I need that separately, or it will be installed with OEM)?
  3. OEM agent on all other 20 servers (I have to install a software on them? Please guide)
  4. A specific version of Java.

  Please guide me if I need any other software or plugin.

  I have already installed the oracle software and created a database by using the "Custom" option in DBCA. My server operating system is Linux 64 Bit for Enterprise Manager.

  You need to control software for cloud 12 c OEM, software database (for creating repository) and software agent (for tracking targets on other hosts)

  I'm about to sit down to review the ACE for AE. I take the test CC, but found almost no documentation for the review, except a 1 page PDF from Adobe. uCeritfy is the best option, but it goes back to CS5, which helps somewhat, but of course, there was a lot of changes. When I visit the facebook page of Adobe ACE, I see only icons for other main products (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Indesign) same goes for finding materials tests, only four is covered with up-to-date information. I wonder why? Why Adobe offers a test, but has no text available courses? Is After Effects gradually put off / combined with another product like Premiere pro? Would like to know how useful this certification will be in the future. Mr. Kiprova?

  There is a review of ACE for AE, but I am surprised that you did not find resources for Ae CC test.  There are relatively few applications for ACE Ae test, but it is there.

  Adobe did not announcements of merger or phased out After Effects, and an ACE is always a reliable indicator of a facilitator dexterity and problem-solving.

• What is normal for the backup of XP SP3 and the startup type of the removable storage service?

  I was getting ready to plan and attempt a clean full backup for tonight.  I have the backups created on several entities, currently backup but have a very stable system at the moment and wanted to try to make a clean backup file.  That day has finally arrived after been forced a corrupted system files hard drive failure "repair" critical and forced me to go back to SP1a (my Windows Genuine valid CD which I highly appreciate) in order to obtain any boot system, including safe mode and console mode.  Repair has presented many incompatibilities at the level of program and system, including the basic WMI and COM of the corruption system.  Three months later... it of time to update my backups and recovery procedures and hope that this does not happen!

  In preparation, I decided to refresh my memory on the use of the backup and by browsing the Help and Support Service Center files.  One of the first things I noticed was "storage removable service must be started for the backup works correctly."  Audit and inspection of my existing Services using computer (Local) management, I have observed that after a normal windows startup, the removable storage service is not started with manual startup type.  I use a USB drive connected as my backup media, and it is fully operational as a normally formatted NTFS data disk volume.  I have windows indexing disabled on this volume.  Is the type of service required removable storage of normal manual started?  The backup program will automatically start this service?  I know I've never manually started it myself and backups seem to work well.  Should we change the startup type to automatic?

  If I drop the snapshot of another week and the VM sees 1 GB another change of files (deletes, adds, changes) the snapshot will be then 3GB in size?

  Yes, it's operation of snapshots in VMware products. The virtual disk parent is treated as read-only and go to all the changes to the snapshot drive (delta file). Please take a look at http://kb.vmware.com/kb/1015180 which explains this in detail.

  Go to a computer with a CD or DVD drive

  Insert your Office 2007 CD in the drive

  Insert a USB key or an external hard drive with enough space (1-2 GB)

  Click Start > computer (or computer if the computer is running Windows XP)

  Open the Office 2007 disk (Browse)

  Press Ctrl + A on your keyboard to select all files on the disk (if the computer is running Windows XP, click Edit > select all, then click on Edit again and copy or if its Windows 7/Vista, click on organize > select all, then click on organize > copy)

  Return to the computer or workstation

  Open the USB key or external storage device
