  2. you must apply a patch on jdeveloper before you start soa proj/Appl in jdev 11 g...
  Follow these steps:
  Jdev opened-> go to support->, click Find updates-> click then->-> select-> next soa oracle composite Editor, click Finish.

• BPEL 1.1 and 2.0 in SOA 12 c.

  Hi all

  I'm a bit new to SOA, and last weeks I try to follow the tutorials of the manual book of SOA to Oracle 11 g (from Lucas Jellema).

  I use Oracle SOA 12 g and the tutorial book is designed for 11g, I found now several minor differences in screens that I was able to overcome.

  Now I am with Chapter 6 (correlation and other things).

  I noticed that I use BPEL 2.0 because it appears when you are working with bpel designer and when you import the project the solution provided by the book, the shown BPEL is 1.1.

  I also noticed that the scope in version 1.1 of BPEL can add 'message' and this option is not available in BPEL 2.0.

  I don't understand why this option is not available.

  My questions are, how and where is defined the BPEL 1.1 or 2.0 version used in the project and how can I have available the ' message on "for the scope in my project.

  When you a drag and drop a component bpel in composite.xml, you have the option to select the version 1.1 or 2.0.

  In BPEL 2.0, you can use "OnEvent" of bezel to receive messages from sponsors & log commercial links.

• Call Asyncronous BPEL

  I have a question...
  
  I'm working on the tutorial. I have a PMain process and there is an asynchronous process AsyncSubProcess. I invoke the PMain process AsyncSubProcess. When I observe the flow, I noticed this PMain process waiting for the recall of AsyncSubProcess to come back and only then he proceeeds with next steps.
  
  I guess the appeal of asynchronous process shouldn't stop the main process i.e. PMain process should not wait AsyncSubProcess and follow the remaining steps, RIGHT?

  If your PMain process requires a response from AsyncSubProcess to perform the next series of operations then your main process must wait, otherwise, you can continue with the following steps.
  Noramally when waiting for a response from asynchronous process, the process PMain can raise the fault as response has expired.
  In order to overcome this increase SyncMaxWaitTime BPEL console.

• Sending an attachment to Email of BPEL process

  We have emails in BPEL (oracle extension) activity where I find there is a tab called attachment.
  I checked that I can send text/html attachment just assign the value (ns1:ContentBody) by a simple string and mime type as "text/html".
  However if I want to send an image file or a MS Office file or a PDF file that is stored in the server, then how to fill the value (ns1:ContentBody)?

  I would like to integrate SOA BPEL with the Google Maps API.

• Writing BPEL process logs

  Hi all
  
  How can we do custom logging, I mean write entry payload messages or status messages in the log files in some points of the BPEL process. Please help me on this. I think we have to use java embedding activity. Can anyone suggest me what configurations do we need to do or no matter what tutorial as such.

• BPEL variable return error Http 503 (construction of problem diagram)

  First of all if I posted this in the wrong forum, I apologize in advance.
  
  I recently installed the following Oracle SOA and I downloaded JDeveloper 10.1.3.3, I use the Oracle® BPEL Process Manager tutorial (http://download.oracle.com/otndocs/products/bpel/orderbooking.pdf) and trying to create a rule to copy, I noticed that some of my variables returning the following error:
  
  Exception - construction of the problem diagram
  
  extended error:
  
  Exception: Server returned HTTP response code: 503 for URL: http://MYID.MYDOMAIN.com:80 / orabpel, default, CreditRatingService, CreditRatingService? WSDL
  
  I can directly access the WSDL and is visible in my console window Bpel too, yet JDeveloper appears to be wrong with it. I have setup a connection server integration to the BPEL server and there, when I try to validate WSDL I don't get any problems.
  
  I was wondering if someone could help because it got me stuck and I can not continue further.

• Sorting tutorial

  Everyone-

  I'm helping a friend get a massive amount of music (approximately 6 000 albums with 40 + thousand songs/melodies) after a devastating accident and burn. We strive to merge not less than 6 or 7 different versions of iTunes media and to get iTunes to sort intelligently. It isn't surprising that things do not go well with a big media of this size.

  One of the biggest obstacles is that we do not seem to understand exactly how iTunes sorts out the artists, albums, genres, etc.. So, I make this appeal for help. We need to know the exact definitions for the various headings proposed in the list when one realizes the following keystrokes:

  Click on the library (upper-left) > songs

  Right-click in an empty space at the right end of the column headers.

  Then, we need to know how iTunes uses these entries (and all others) during the generation of various lists (for example, artists, Albums, Genre, song, etc.).

  Finally, we need to know which of these entries (above) are used in what boxes and tabs of the various windows 'Get Info'.

  All this, of course, is far too complex and would require much too big an assignment to duly taken into consideration here. (Most of you are already losing interest!) So, any of you can tell me a website or a book published describing the arcane (apparently) definitions and rules sort used by iTunes?

  IMPORTANT NOTE: We do not ask for specific help with these questions here. We badly need a discussion being authoritarian that we can study offline.

  MORE INFO: We use 4 laptops Windows of different brands and models. The best is an ASUS G750JM, Core i7. Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. iTunes 12.

• Is there a phone rep who can help me get my profile on my new computer? I think I did OK for the tutorial, but now it does not work

  I had to buy a new computer as my last one had problems. I backed up what I think is all of my files on an external hard drive and moved them to the new computer but Thunderbird does not open. So I re downloaded Thunderbird and followed the tutorial on copying and pasting the old profile in the profile folder and now Thunderbrid (I think) will not open.

  Thunderbird profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible.
  

  So I put everything in the trash and re downloaded the program, and I still get the same error (I however wouldn't be the case that I was starting from scratch).

  In a little over my head. Any help?

  Try this method to import emails.
  addon ImportExporttools:

  Download the as file and save it to your ex: desktop

  In Thunderbird

  • Tools > Addons or Menu icon > Addons
  • Click the gear icon and select "install the addon from file".
  • Find the downloaded as file and click 'open '.
  • You may have to restart Thunderbird.

  To import an mbox file (all messages are stored in Thunderbird mbox files)
  Right click on the email account
  Select: ImportExporttools > import a mbox file
  Select: directly import one or more mbox files
  Search for the file and click 'open '.

  You can do with the scribe. It is a Java-based MIDI processor. The documentation is in the logic Pro / Manual of the effects of Mainstage, just look for MIDI plug-ins.

  Hello, this can happen when firefox is not able to correctly save preferences in the profile folder. Please try this: click the menu button

  

  then click on help

  

  > troubleshooting information > profile folder - 'display the folder '. then a new window will open. in this search on a file named user.js window (it can be used to overwrite your custom settings). where it is present, delete or rename this file and then restart firefox.
