BPEL 1.1 and 2.0 in SOA 12 c.

Hi all

I'm a bit new to SOA, and last weeks I try to follow the tutorials of the manual book of SOA to Oracle 11 g (from Lucas Jellema).

I use Oracle SOA 12 g and the tutorial book is designed for 11g, I found now several minor differences in screens that I was able to overcome.

Now I am with Chapter 6 (correlation and other things).

I noticed that I use BPEL 2.0 because it appears when you are working with bpel designer and when you import the project the solution provided by the book, the shown BPEL is 1.1.

I also noticed that the scope in version 1.1 of BPEL can add 'message' and this option is not available in BPEL 2.0.

I don't understand why this option is not available.

My questions are, how and where is defined the BPEL 1.1 or 2.0 version used in the project and how can I have available the ' message on "for the scope in my project.

Thank you.

Juanje

When you a drag and drop a component bpel in composite.xml, you have the option to select the version 1.1 or 2.0.

In BPEL 2.0, you can use "OnEvent" of bezel to receive messages from sponsors & log commercial links.

  • Weblogic server integration is needed in Jdeveloper for BPEL of 10g and 11g upgrade?

    Hello

    Weblogic server integration is needed in Jdeveloper for BPEL of 10g and 11g upgrade?

    We migrated BPEL 10g and 11g. I understand that this integrated weblogic server is part of jdeveloper.

    Integration of weblogic server allows successful simulation of the weblogic Server real 11g which we installed as a separate product?

    or should we connect jdeveloper to weblogic server 11g instead of the integrated weblogic Server?

    Please notify.

    Thank you

    No, built-in weblogic server is not necessary in jdeveloper for bpel upgrade.

    If you are migrating bpel go separate domain and weblogic/managed servers, don't use integrated weblogic.

  • Question of OSB and design of server SOA (Ombudsman)

    As the OSB of strategic BSE and is used for external services does make sense that all communication must go out by the OSB.
    For example if I have a request that comes in is routed through the OSB and called then a composite of backend that contains a BPEL located on the server Oracle SOA calling multiple services outside (CRM, SAP etc...) Would all calls outside the BPEL then return to the OSB and external services (via proxy/serv.) This seems to add many network stretches to the overall architecture.
    I can't really find a diagram to explain this, but a consumer of external services can call stack Oracle SOA coming in through the OSB (for the security such as OWSM gateway 11 g does not support bridge yet.) Then turns into CDM and then transmitted to the Oracle SOA server which has a composite service with BPEL, which manages several calls to internal and external services. Those external requiring a transformation back into the format of service providers.
    How does this flow?

    OSB is to inter connectivity between SOA Suite Composites. Mediator of the Oracle is intra SOA Composites, for example work and mediation within a Composite of SOA services.

    For your use case, you're right about incoming messages to get out messages they also come out through the OSB to map the CDM of the customer specifications.

  • Integration of BPEL Process Manager and jDeveloper

    I downloaded BPEL Process Manager 10.1.3.1.0 but BPEL Designer is delivered is no longer with her and it integrates with jDeveloper 11g. Is there a version of BPEL Process Manager that I can integrate with jDeveloper Studio Edition Version 11.1.1.0.0? I have to use jDev 10g in order to use BPEL Process Manager. Please forward your comments.

    The JDeveloper and SOA Suite / BPEL version must remain in phase with each other, this includes minor versions, e.g. JDev 10.1.3.4 must be used with SOA Suite 10.1.3.4. Unfortunately the 11g JDev is not certified with the 10.1.3.1 SOA Suite.

    If you just install SOA Suite, it may be a good idea to upgrade to 10.1.3.4 until development is underway.

  • BPEL migrated from 10 g and 11 g - idempotent property does not

    We have migrated the process BPEL of 10g and 11g.

    But the idempotence property does not work after migration. in BPEL Engine-> recovery the instants beneath Invoke instead of the type of activity .

    A composite.xml of migrated BPEL process looks like this:

    ...

    < ui:wsdlLocation = "reference Some.wsdl" name = "SomeWS" > "

    " < interface.wsdl interface =" "' http://foo/bar/SomeWS#wsdl.interface(SomeWWS) ' xmlns:ns = ' http://xmlns.Oracle.com/SCA/1.0 "/ > "

    " < binding.ws port =" " http://foo/bar/SomeWS#wsdl.endpoint(SomeWSService/SomeWS)" location = "Some.wsdl" xmlns:ns =" " http://xmlns.Oracle.com/SCA/1.0 "> "

    < property name = "idempotent" > false < / property >

    < binding.ws >

    < / reference >

    ...

    11 g (or 11.1.1.7), there is a new option to set the properties of "Idempotence" on the link associated with the level of the operation.

    Example of composite.xml

    ...

    < component name = 'Some' version = "1.1" >

    < implementation.bpel src = "Some.bpel" / >

    < name = "bpel.partnerLink.Remotews.writeSomeStuff.idempotent property" type = "xs: String" much = "false" > false < / property > "

    < name = "bpel.partnerLink.Remotews.writeOtherOper.idempotent property" type = "xs: String" much = "false" > false < / property > "

    < / component >

    ...

    Following ownership structure: bpel.partnerLink. < partnerlink-name >. < operation > .idempotent

    Functioning of the is the only thing that works in SOA Suite 11 g 11.1.1.7 / BPEL 1.1?

    Ignoring the name of the operation seems to work, then from the above example (where "Remotews" is the name of the partnerlink):

    fake

    I think the 10g to 11g migration Assistant should have corrected it, or at least given a warning about the property is not managed by the migration. A migrated process lose all points of dehydration if it is not set manually.

    If anyone have implemented the same thing in their projects, please provide your inputs/suggestions.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    You will need to change the WSDL operation to a one-way asynchronous type.

    i.e.

    TO

    Otherwise, no matter what it is calling the service will wait for a response.

    You know the name and the password of your account user MDS?  (This has been implemented to the course when RCU.bat put in place the SOA database)

    If it isn't then you can connect as SYS (assuming you know this password) and run:
    Select the user name from all_users where username like '% MDS '.

    Then run the following when it is connected to the user SYS - acting the XXXXXX with the username returned below:

    change the compilation of XXXXXXX.mds_internal_common package;
    change the compilation of XXXXXXX.mds_internal_shredded package;
    change the compilation of XXXXXXX.mds_internal_utils package;

    If you know the connection to the MDS user, then you can log on as that user and simply run:

    change the compilation of mds_internal_common package;
    change the compilation of mds_internal_shredded package;
    change the mds_internal_utils package compile;

  • How to build a BPEL in reference to a SSL Web Service

    Hi all

    I have a BPEL that uses an external SSL Web Service, when I try to generate the following error message appears:

    SunCertPathBuilderException: Could not find the path of Certification valid for target asked

    But if I copy the wsdl file in the project, I can build and deploy on my SOA and then run normally, that the web service is called without any problem. I followed the configurations that I found on the following thread:

    (11g) config Keystore & password for composites BPEL

    1. create a key file where the passwords from private keys are the same as the password of the keystore. The key file must also contain the trusted public certificate of the web service you are calling. Copy it in $DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig.

    2 go to FMW > SOA > soa-infra > SOA Infrastructure > SOA Administration > common properties > more SOA Infra Configuration of advanced properties;

    . 3 enter the absolute path of your keys in the configuration property file KeystoreLocation NOTE: Actually, I set the default - keystore.jks in $DOMAIN_HOME/config/fmwconfig and have not tested with the keystore name with different and another location. +;

    4 go to FMW > Weblogic domain > domain name > domain Weblogic > Security > credentials ;

    5 create the map with the name SOAin this map create key with name KeystorePassworduser KeystorePassword and the password of the keystore;

    6. you must specify the argument FMV - Djavax .net .ssl .trustStore = < your_keystore_location >. Usually, this is done by the substitution of the variable system $JAVA_OPTIONS or you can directly edit startup WL scripts or whatever your preferable way.

    7 change $DOMAIN_HOME/bin/setDomainEnv.sh. You can chercher-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore=${WL_HOME}/server/lib/DemoTrust.jks and remove it. If you don't do this, you're dead.

    I thought that would be enough to generate the BPEL in SOA and run, he aparently it doesn't work when running, is there any other configuration required to build the BPEL successfully?

    JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0

    Thought about it, had to import the certificates into the/JDEV_HOME/jdk160_24/jre/lib/security/cacerts too. This is the default truststore of JDeveloper.

  • Deliver to invoke the Enterprise WSDL BPEL process

    Hello
    I am currently an Enterprise WSDL of BPEL. And the same error every time.
    «Can't access the following endpoint: https://test.salesforce.com/services...» »

    While I am able to call the methods within the WSDL for soapUI. I know that's not the normal WSDL we use... this WSDL does not get them.

    Any help will be much appreciated...

    Kind regards
    En

    I was able to get this working using 11.1.1.3. Basically, you need to create a key file using the keytool utility that comes with the JDK. You can get the https://login.salesforce.com via your browser x.509 certificate. Just go to the website and view the certificate of the site with Firefox do you by double clicking on the padlock in the lower right of the browser. Save cert and create the keystore as follows

    keytool - importcert-alias login.salesforce.com - login.salesforce.com.pem - file mySSLidentities-keystore

    Once you have done this, you set the - your_truststore_location to JAVA_OPTIONS = Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore in your setDomainEnv.bat or setDomainEnv.sh file. Once this is done, you and restart the server, SOA, you should be ok.
    See section 6.2 of the Administrator's Guide Oracle® Fusion Middleware Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Business Process Management Suite
    11g Release 1 (11.1.1)
    Part number E10226-04

    You will also need the certificate for the URL you get in return through the sfdc connect call. Use the same procedure as above. Do I have to understand now is how to define endpoint dynamically to salesforce.com web service calls after the connect call.

  • Unable to receive the message of an asynchronous service - BPEL

    Hello

    I had developed a simple asynchronous BPEL Composite which takes two parameters (firstName, lastName) and returns back fullName.
    I used a waiting activity (for 30 seconds) in the BPEL, after which both inputs are concatenated and returned. I could test this EM thrue successfully and check the answer in the Trace of the flow.

    The problem occurs when I use async service in other BPEL.
    In an another BPEL (which is synchronous), I wanted to use this service, so I used an invoke activity to invoke it and receive the activity to get the answer.
    But I don't get the final answer. Instead, get the following error after awhile (defenitely longer than 30 seconds which is pending for async service Follow-up to the last)
    I think that the problem of the correlation between the response with the req, but the documentation says correlation is automatically applied with ws-addressing, and no need to correlate separately. So I didn't do something more for correlation. I tried with the two properties of the BPEL operation (required and requiresNew), but none could solve. Please help me in this

    Hello

    First of all check this process without the waiting activity.
    Check: 1. the delivery of asynchronous process property is on asynch.persist. 2. the synchronization process transaction property is set to requireNew.
    If it still does not, have your post-processing or send it to my mail.

    I'm working on the migration of the process BPEL of 10g and 11g. Currently, I am faced with the question in one of the processes BPEL calling for an ASYNCHRONOUS process. Here's the scenario.

    I have a BPEL (BPEL1, Async) process, call another BPEL (BPEL2, ASYNC) process. Inside the BPEL2, we have just an adapter DB call to the database and returning the result of BPEL1. The two processes are deployed on the same server/partition.

    Migration succeeded, without issue. But when I was testing, called BPEL2 BPEL1, BPEL2 went to the database and to obtain records successfully, but when he is sent to BPEL1, we are witnessing to "< message > SOA returned no details." "< / message >" in the "reception" of BPEL1 activity (who returned from BPEL2).

    I don't know what went wrong. Can anyone guide me on this please? Thank you.

    Hruthayah.

    After removing the webservice call from composite.xml, but also completely removed the .bpel code and recreate the service call yet once, resolved this problem.
