BPlan modules and Siebel 8.1.1.5

I understand that this seems to be an example for Siebel 8.2 but if someone spent the time to make it work in 8.1.x? If so can I preview?

I don't have time to fix the whole process, because I want to use in a CRP.

Thanks in advance

Siebel 8.2 is required for integration of benefits to work as expected.

I think that the business objects and components that map to the modules have been introduced in 8.2. Also, there is a code specific to 8.2 to treat an example of eligibility that is designed to work with the modules of the advantage plan.

However, this is just an example of integration Siebel-OPA and he uses nothing that you can't do yourself as a systems integrator. Maps, link between OPA and Siebel all work in 8.1.x Siebel.

See you soon

    Hi all

    I'm looking for information on ODI and Siebel CRM.

    Part 1:

    For the moment, we do not use ODI to load data into Siebel, guys on the team here

    I thought that maybe there would be a better way to do part 1 using ODI.

    After talking with my boyfriend of Siebel, here's what I understand:

    ODI will load the tables of EIM, which, said, is 75% of employment

    and the last 25% is the .ifb file is generated and ths to run the file on the

    Yes, ODI can load data but my guy Siebel

    the ifb file will have to be revised manually...

    When I get a moment, I'll do a small test case and see

  • BPlan modules with connector 10.2

    Hello

    I installed the OPA Siebel 10.2 Connector.Will the old sample BPlan modules work with the connector 10.2 or he started working with the 10.2 connector.

    Thank you

    The Bplan sample modules will not work with version 10.2 of the connector for Siebel and OPA. Because the modules use a custom code in order to operate a little more work needs to be done to make it compatible with 10.2.

    We publish the version 10.2.1 shortly which will be a BPlan compatible modules.

  • OPA and Siebel

    Hi all, I have another question.

    We try to use the OPA and Siebel for this project, it's a big with thousands of rules, new everything about reservations, but anyone know if I can be able to choose, siebel, what are the rules to evaluate? as if the user can choose a subset of the 10 rules of a game of 100 something lime it?

    Another question, the architecture can be like that? Rules Client with OPM and the server with Siebel, OPA and OPA connector? Am I wrong? or OPA and Siebel must be on different servers?

    I think I'll have other questions while the project is running, so maybe I'll post soon.

    Kind regards

    Caesar

    Caesar,

    To answer your questions OPA and Siebel:

    We try to use the OPA and Siebel for this project, it's a big with thousands of rules, new everything about reservations, but anyone know if I can be able to choose, siebel, what are the rules to evaluate? as if the user can choose a subset of the 10 rules of a game of 100 something lime it?

    You can't choose what rules evaluate in OPA, but rules are evaluated only for the data that exist. In general, we find that our engine is efficient enough that you don't need to worry about which rules are run.

    I suggest strongly just using modules with all the rules in it, but if you find that rule evaluations takes too long there are strategies you can use to create a smaller modules with only the rules you need.

    Another question, the architecture can be like that? Rules Client with OPM and the server with Siebel, OPA and OPA connector? Am I wrong? or OPA and Siebel must be on different servers?

    You need OPA Policy Modeling to create rulebases. The OPA for Siebel connector comes with the necessary operating times in the form of the siebel-determinations-Server and web-siebel-determinations, no other runtimes are needed. Both these OPA servers must be deployed on a server (IIS) .NET applications or a Java (for example, WebLogic), and communication between the Siebel server and the servers of the OPA is managed by Web Services.

    I think I'll have other questions while the project is running, so maybe I'll post soon.

    I look forward to answer

  • CAN the c series modules and drivers XNET and Ethernet expansion chassis cRIO compatibility issues

    Hello

    I encountered a problem with my current setup which was not picked up by the tool advise cRIO or by the engineer of applications OR that we used to check our configuration before starting the project.  It turns out that the NI 9853 CAN modules require a XNET driver that is not compatible with the NI 9149 expansion chassis.

    We currently have a system with a cRIO NI 9068 with general IO and some CAN controller and CAN open modules in a carrycot and an Ethernet NI9149 with more general IO expansion chassis and more CAN and CAN open an another pod remote modules and all of this should work under water, so I can not move the modules of the expansion chassis to the chassis controller without a lot of overhaul of the system and equip and a team of angry engineers and technicians.

    I have developed the FPGA code for the 9068 OR and have CAN and CAN open networks works with happiness.  Then I tried to copy the same FPGA code on the expansion chassis and it compiles, but when I try to launch it I get the error-63184 code.  After long calls OR support, and tries to install the missing drivers on the expansion chassis, we discovered that XNET is not compatible with this chassis.

    Can anyone suggest the best course of action?  Is there an expansion chassis Ethernet that will support XNET?  I have here no information online about this compatibility issue that I can't find?

    I'll be communication with DIRECTLY, but from previous experience of the "odd" questions, I know the community often hold the key.  Any suggestions gratefully received.

    Thank you, Ed

    It's official.  CAN open modules are not compatible with the expansion chassis.  I have them moved to RIO and will get the upgraded pods.

    Thank you

  • Can we use latest version of modules and toolkits with the old version of LabVIEW core?

    Hello world
    I'm new to LabVIEW
    I have a question.
    We can use (indeed install) latest version of modules and tools (for example, 2009 or 8.6.1 version) with the old version of LabVIEW core (for example LabVIEW 8.6)?
    No problem?!
    I have 8.6 (rating) of LabVIEW and I want to istall 2009 real-time Module.

    No you can not do. But you can download and install Labview 2009 and module RT 2009 Trail for 30 days.

    I try to have a Ping of Parallax))) to work with my cRIO ultrasonic sensor. I have connected it to an e/s digital 9403 module and uses the PulseGen, SW.vi example. I plugged in and configured the 0 for an output pin have significance attatched on the output pin to monitor output. When I put the pulse width to be something less than 10 ms long and I try it is not always release trigger and when that happens it's always long to 10ms. is there a way to reduce this sort I get a pulse of what 5?

    Hi digilogik,

    You can post how you have changed the code, so we have a better understanding of what to expect.  Brief looking at the example code I couldn't guess why a long 10 ms pulse is the only thing you see if what you did was replace the power indicator 0 with IO nodes.

    However, if your end goal is to get a pulse of 5 usec, then the NI 9403 module will not respond to your needs as the updated module is 7usec max.  You would be able to do what you need with a NI 9401 module, with the draw back you go to 32 channels up to 8 with the 9401 vs the 9403.

  • GlobalEventListener: to distinguish between system module and gui entrypoint

    Hey. I have an application with a system module that should always run and a gui with a EULA entry point. Once accepted the EULA, I want the gui to close application and the module of the system to begin running. (It works on battery pull, but the goal is to avoid asking the user to do).

    eventOccurred in GlobalEventListener fires twice, I guess once for the module of the system and once for the GUI. Two apparently weird things happen. First of all, when I use a global boolean to make a distinction between the sysmod and GUI, GUI screen is stuck and the sysmod seems to be exited. (Or I tried passing the processid of the sysmod and just exit with a different id - the GUI.) Same effect).

    Then when I remove the and check only for the guid of the global event, the eula, the sysmod screen farm stop logging but an icon of the application with the generic blue icon are still there in the app selector (hold the menu button).

    All I want to do is start the system module and close the EULA gui, so that the user need not cold start. Thanks for your time... code below. J.

    class MDB extends UiApplication implements GlobalEventListener

      boolean thisIsSystemModule;

        // In main(  )

            if (arg0.equals("gui")) {

        }

                MySystemListener msl = new MySystemListener();
                globalMDB = new MDB();
                globalMDB.SetSystemModuleFlag(true);

            }
    }

    Hello. The whole situation turns that arose because despite searching, I was not in the current Modules of the system to start when the application is installed (or opening). I knew only that they were running at startup, then in the absence of a way to start them from code, I asked users to cold start their phones!

    Although I do not understand what caused this error, it might have something to do with the planning of a timer job or adding a listener to an instance of the application system, and then exit the application before the timer is due to run it. Could someone with more understanding fill in us, on what it would do, but unless there is another way, I wouldn't do it.

    The solution was to do nothing. Delete all of the code to start the module of the system. And the other thing of smaller was to detect whether the instance is the module of the system or the gui entry point, Yes, you can use a global var but not a static. In acceptsForeground, you just check this global var defined in the hand and to be sysmod, false return.

    Will seek some of the discovered books recently, in order to aim to post 2 days a week only I think that in the future.

  • How to put running or OFF controls the mouse on laptop or how do I get rid of modules and toolbars like conduit, spirit and friend spark Checker?

    Hi, are two quick questions, there any settings of the mouse on laptop computers. I use a mouse usb right now about this because the finger mouse does not work.

    are there ways to activate and deactivate? and how can I get rid of modules and toolbars as auditor of conduit and friend and spark of spirit? any help would be great. Thanks in advance

    Original title: CONTROLS the MOUSE for laptop

    Hello

    Thank you for your question to Microsoft Community.

    Quick questions:

    1. What browser version are you working?
    2. What is the brand and model of the laptop?

    Case 1:

    Mouse, touchpad and keyboard problems can have several causes:

    ·         Cables that are not connected correctly

    ·         Incorrect device settings

    ·         Missing updates

    ·         Corrupt or incompatible drivers

    ·         Hardware problems

    As a first step, you can check the status of the devices by following the steps mentioned below:

    a. click Start, type Device Manager in theStart search box and press ENTER.

    b. Locate the mouse and other pointing devices and expand the same.

    c. click Pointing device and check its status.

    Method 1:

    To enable the touchpad try these steps:

    a. click Start and select Control Panel.

    b. Select mouse.

    c. click on Device Settings.

    d. Select the touchpad device.

    e. click on turn on.

    Note: The steps above are generic to any model of laptop. The parameters may vary depending on your model of laptop.

    Method 2:

    If activation touchpad does not help, you can go ahead and uninstall the drivers of the touchpad and re - install the same thing again.

    To uninstall the touchpad drivers,

    a. click Start, type Device Manager in the Start search box and press ENTER.

    b. Locate the mouse and other pointing devices and expand the same.

    c. right click on the Touchpad driver and select Uninstall.

    d. restart the computer, if prompted.

    Also I suggest you to consult the following link.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/Mouse-touchpad-and-keyboard-problems-in-Windows

    Case 2:

    Now for the question of the toolbar, if you use these methods follow Internet Explorer:

    Method 1:

    If an unwanted toolbar appears in Internet Explorer, you can turn it off using the Add-ons Manager. Sometimes, however, the problem may be more persistent. If the problem persists, start Internet Explorer in no add-on mode and then use the add-on Manager to disable all add-ons that you have not intentionally installed.

    You can see the following link for more information:

    Manage Add-ons in Internet Explorer

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Internet-Explorer/Manage-Add-ons#IE=IE-8

    Method 2:

    Most toolbars can be removed using Add / Remove programs.

    Uninstall or change a program

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/uninstall-or-change-a-program

    Method 3:

    You can also use the specific toolbar removal tool to uninstall or remove the toolbar from the computer.

    WARNING:

    Using third-party software, including hardware drivers can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the use of third-party software can be solved. Software using third party is at your own risk.

    Thanks for posting the result and let us know if you need assistance on Windows.
