No, they don't... which is clearly indicated on the download page of jdev...

Important note - this version of JDeveloper does not include SOA and WebCenter - pieces to use these components, you will need to download Oracle JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.0.

  • Extension for JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 portal

    Hello

I'm new in JDeveloper and JDeveloper 11.1.1.3.0 version.
I want to create the portal using JDeveloper. So I have to get my JDeveloper Extension portal.
Is there support for the extension of the portal on this version of JDeveloper?
How can I get this plugin for my JDeveloper and configure this extension on my JDeveloper?

    Thanks in advance.

    Murat

If you create a new portal, using webcenter, not oracle portal because it is expected that oracle portal cannot be supported in 2014 or 2015. It is possible that portal oracle 11g will be the latest version. WebCenter is the future so if you start from scratch, webcenter is the best choice.

You can create an environment of rich portal with webcenter. You need to develop depends on the requirements. Subsequently webcenter is ready to use collaborative portal named webcenter spaces. With webcenter spaces, you can create pages of pages when running, add portlets, customizations, personalization and so on. With webcenter spaces, you can also integrate many services. For example, the following webcenter ships with a license limited to the Complutense University of MADRID. UCM can be used to manage documents. Since your webcenter application or webcenter spaces you can download, remove, manage,... documents of the Complutense University of MADRID.

With webcenter in JDeveloper extensions, you are able to build webcenter applications. These applications can act as a portal. This means that you can create your own application with the possibility to create pages when running and allow the user to customize their pages as well.

If you can wait a few months (early 2011) until the new version of webcenter will appear, then it is much easier to create custom portals.

  • No Extension for JDeveloper 11.1.1.4.0 ADF Mobile?

    Hello
I have recently improved and jdev 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.1.4.0 when checking for extension, can't find one for the ADF Mobile Client extension.
But the tutorial at: http://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/jdev/obe11jdev/ps3/adf_mobile_top/adf_mobile/jdtut_11r2_54_1.html, says that she is available.
Can someone please clarify if it is available for the 11.1.1.4.0 and if so, how to get it?
If this is not the case, how to build projects adf mobile using this version? Or should I roll back 11.1.1.3 if I want to create mobile client applications? And guess which also apply to the browser mobile apps?
    Kind regards

Hi, Hemant, both Android and iOS are both on the roadmap for ADF Mobile Client, with Android as the first target. iOS is much more difficult, and we take a multiphase approach to solve it.

Windows Phone 7 is still under review - a direction of Nokia it give Windows Phone 7 a little more important now.

There are currently no J2SE / provided for the "Windows" version - if there is strong demand for the approach on the laptop, please let us know. It seems that tablets (iPad, Android, BlackBerry PlayBook tablet, etc.) are taking more and more the mobile use case who traditionally filled by the laptop.

We will also see if WebOS/Palm catches ever.

Symbian is unlikely, given the Nokia seems to have indicated that it will with Windows Phone.

It is also probable that we would target consumer/J2ME phones type at this point. It is not commonly used as enterprise mobile application devices, and also the trend seems to be that this smart phone will finally exceed the phones to consumers in terms of volume.

    Thank you

  • Reports for JDeveloper extension?

    Greetings,

I was programming with c# .net for a long time and I've been using Crystal Reports for

make sales receipts. I was wondering if there is such an extension for JDeveloper 11.1.2.4.0 or

something similar to avoid making a customization to receipts page.

People use a variety of tools of reporting with the ADF applications.

For example, the open source Jasper reports.

You can probably call Crystal reports from an ADF application.

    Some items on the reports:

  • including the extension in jdeveloper with ADF Faces?

    Hello

We have an application with ADF Faces components that must be migrated to OracleAS weblogic 11 g Server (10.3.5).

We strive to upgrade the application under jdeveloper 11.1.1.5.0.  I have 3 questions.

    1. which the ADF jdeveloper extension should download us for this purpose?

We already seem to have the extensions 'Fusion Web Applications (ADF)' and ' Applications Java Desktop (ADF) "."

    2. during the upgrade, we were given an option to upgrade the ADF Faces in Trinidad, when this option has been chosen, we got a "unexpected mistake."

is it necessary to go to TRINIDAD to be able to deploy successfully on weblogic 10.3.5? If Yes, is the extension for Jdeveloper MAVEN?

    3. in weblogic server, I understand, we need the extension JRF to support the length of the ADF, is there anything else that we need on weblogic server that the adf works?

    Thank you in advance.

If the origins of your application of jdev 10g and runs on the OAS, you can migrate to Trinidad. No extension is required for this as the required libraries are already there. Maven is useless and will not work for 11.1.1.5.0. First version with the full support of MAVEN is 12 c.

If you get an unexpected error during the migration from the old app to 11 g, you should try to find out

    (1) projects that is causing the error

    (2) file that is causing the error

and work from there. There are some configurations that cannot be migrated (check the release notes), however they should not lead to unexpected errors. However, check the release notes.

If you don't find anything and cannot pass through the error, you must open a SR with support.oracle.com.

Next question is why migrate to 11.1.1.5.0 which is already obsolete.

  • JDeveloper extensions for 11.1.2.4.0?

    Greetings,

I use Jdeveloper v11.1.2.4.0 for awhile now and I noticed that Jdeveloper extensions are always not to update to this latest version.

I am trying to install extensions of SOA and BPM. Is there at least the beta or any news for when they go out? been almost 2 (if not more) months now

Since the release of this version... BTW Jdeveloper shows me the extension of soa in the jdeveloper Update Center, but the version is not supported for this version of jdeveloper. Please fix this

    The center of update/upgrade.

    Hello.

JDeveloper 11 GR 2 (11.1.2.x) is an ADF version only. We do not provide stack complete middleware for this version, which explains why extensions are not available and will never be. To use WebCenter, SOA Suite and other Fusion Middleware technologies, your only option is JDeveloper 11 GR 1 (11.1.1.x) matter for the moment.

Moreover, JDeveloper 12.1.2 12 c is in the same situation as GR 11, 2. Support for the complete stack will come in a future version of the series 12.1.x. And before ask you: no, I can't (unfortunately) provide details on the calendar for this version.

  • Installation guide for BPM SOA Suite and Oracle 11g

Does anyone know of a good installation guide for a new installation of the following SOA and BPM of Oracle 11 g (Windows 64 bit)?

I'm looking to the 'Setup Guide quick for Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Business Process Management Suite 11 g Release 1"(http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/install.1111/e14318.pdf), but it is a bit dated (April 2010) and I see that is missing a few steps.

    Thank you

Take a look at the for Oracle SOA Suite 11 g 1 material (http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/soasuite/overview/quickstartguidesoasuite11gr1ps3-313245.pdf) Quick Start Guide.

The steps that do not appear in the document you mentioned are included in this document. It takes you through the necessary extra step for the installation of Oracle BPM. Although for 11.1.1.4, it works very well for implementing 11.1.15 in a DEV environment.

    Hello

Suitcase BPMN deployment by mistake. java.lang.NullPointerException.

This could be a variety of reasons:

    (1) my problem was solved when I checked the fabricruntime.jar for jdeveloper middleware House \jdeveloper\soa\modules\oracle.soa.fabric_11.1.1

and SOA home Oracle_SOA1\soa\modules\oracle.soa.fabric_11.1.1 was different. So I copy the fabricruntime.jar of soa on jdev House home and redeploy the composite and it works.

My conclusions at that time was namespace error.

    (2) you can also apply the below patch

Patch 14618452: NPE IS THROWN everything BY DEPLOYING a PROCESS WITH SEVERAL SUB-PROCESS/WRESTLING EVENTS

    and then test the deployment.

    (3) in other words, you can try this:

    Stop, soa_server (s), node_manager(if running), Server Admin

Delete the cache files and for Admin Server and server SOA tmp files in $ORACLE_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/AdminServer/cache and $ORACLE_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/AdminServer/tmp

    Same BOF Soa Server $ORACLE_HOME/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/Soa_server/cache

    After that, restart the server

Redeploy the composite applications again since the file via the EM, or JDeveloper .jar or WLST script.

If I import the zip of the "check for updates", I can see the name of the extension by clicking next. After the reboot, I don't see the option which should be less "Run".

  • The 32-bit platform has been abandoned for JDeveloper 12.1.3?

This thread was created to prevent the diversion of this similar thread:

https://community.Oracle.com/message/12509733#12509733 (when the new version of Jdeveloper will come including ADF mobile framework?)

I have replied to this thread and inadvertently ask myself a question:

    always 32-bit will be supported?

    Timo Hahn replied as follows:

If you check the matrix certification Oracle JDeveloper and ADF 12 c (12.1.3) supported systems , you see that only the windows 64-bit systems are supported. You can try the generic installation program that can run windows 32-bit inn.

That is why this thread for my question.

Certification for 12.1.3 matrix lists only the 64-bit systems. It is not clear if the support of 32-bit system only has not yet been made public or if Oracle has abandoned in favor of the 32-bit platform JDev framework and SDK extension.

We have tried to create and manipulate Developer extensions sql for several years, but there have always been problems; in particular, the absence of sufficient documentation for changes between sql developer and framework Jdeveloper, he comes and the lack of any official source for XSD schema files necessary.

The last issue was the transition to the new OSGI framework for these two products.

Developer 4.0.2.15.21 SQL is supported on 32-bit Windows and use the Jdeveloper 12.1.3 framework which, until today, NOT went public.

I posted a question in this forum and the developers forum sql on a problem of Extension when you use the JDev 12.1.2 and Sql Dev framework.

    https://community.Oracle.com/thread/3566788

This code example, I provided in this thread appears to indicate the following:

    1. a bug in the version of sql developer 4.0.2.15.21

    2. a bug in Jdeveloper 12.1.3

    3. an incompatibility between this version of sql dev and the 12.1.2 Framework SDK extension my sample uses (since 12.1.3 was not available

So I'll try to understand what JDeveloper and Sql Developer extensions will be cared for and on what platforms.

If the Jdev 12.1.3 framework won't be supported for 32-bit, which probably means that extensions for 32-bit versions of Sql Developer will not be supported.

But this version of Sql developer is publicly available for 32-bit systems and its architecture makes heavy use of the extensions. So he itsn can't clear at all whether the general public can develop extensions for 32-bit sql developer if Jdev 12.1.3 framework is not available on this target.

One of the problems with the use of JDev to create Developer extensions sql was that developer sql was NOT available as a target platform for the deployment.

I expect Oracle to announce a delivery date for a 32-bit version of the JDev framework. But since the 64-bit version was only published and that Sql Dev is supported on 32-bit platforms and uses a (perhaps in-house) version of the 12.1.3 framework I hope that Oracle could at least tell us if a decision was made to abandon support for the 32-bit framework or not.

If this isn't the case, then the third party extensions won't be able to support the 64-bit versions of JDeveloper and Sql developer.

    Hello...

We (JDev) support still 32-bit JDK. The change you see is double: 1) we distribute installers with the 32-bit JDK built, 2) we no longer run tests on 32-bit JDK. However, visitors are always entitled to support when executing JDeveloper in a 32-bit environment. The availability of 32-bit computers and operating systems capable of running JDeveloper fades quickly. Only 64-bit supports fusion Middleware, but for development only (JDeveloper) we continue currently to provide 32-bit support. This will ultimately change in the future (in the same way that we no longer support 16-bit architectures), but the time is not yet known.

Also, I just want to point out that the support of 32-bit is mentioned in the doc certification here:

    Other operating systems Updated Oracle JDK 1.7 51 + (32 bit, 64 bit) Updated Oracle JDK 1.7 51 + (32 bit, 64 bit)

    and here

Gets the support of other operating systems (untested), including 32-bit JDK, for the purposes of a single user in a development only environment. Not planned for production deployments.
