can not reinstall the adobe flash player. Error message "brccmctl close"?
I can't reinstall my adobe flash player. I get a close message to the suite of programs, internet explore and brccmctl. I closed the intern. exp., but I do not know what brccmctl is. Help, please. THN u
@green13,.
I understand that Adobe Flash will not update because of brccmctl.
Have you tried HardBeatZ suggestions to search for the program? The program that brccmctl means is ControlCenter3 which is software for Brother printers printing.
By chance, you are using a Brother printer? If so, you can ensure that any process of brother ended in the Task Manager (right click on the taskbar to get the Task Manager).
The simplest option may be temporarily disable startup programs to update Adobe and then re-enable startup prorams. This can be done by going to start, search for msconfig, the opening of this result and uncheck the startup items. Once installed Adobe, go back to msconfig to activate startup programs.
Let me know what happens. -

Uninstalling Adobe Flash Player
My computer has stopped just on me 5 or 6 times today without warning. I rebooted in safe mode and normal mode. When I ran a repair, twice. I received a message from this new software and/or physical facilities may be the cause. The most recent software was an Adope Flash Player update so I tried to remove this program but I get this message "the installation program will automatically continue when these contradictory applictions are closed - brccmctl. I don't open when I try to uninstall. I am desperate and irritated. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you
Try to download the tool to remove Flash Player from the Adobe site here:
http://kb2.Adobe.com/CPS/141/tn_14157.html
and use it to remove Flash Player from your system.
If you post here, please provide the version of Windows you are using.

Virus problem? -Unable to access many programs, Windows Components, System Restore
I am reasonably confident that the issue I'm having is the direct result of a virus. The first sign was after recording in the other day, a message popped up that says that my copy of Windows is not valid. After re - validate, I am still not able to access many programs, System Restore, components - run Windows, Control Panel, Defender etc. I already ran several scans-MalwareBytes, Hijackthis, AVG, ZoneAlarm, SuperAnti-SpyWare, Avira, Emsisoft, etc.. Still nothing.
Here is the hijackthis log:

Can not program the new flash player
My printer is a brothers DCP 375CW and I can't program the new flashplayer because I have to delete Brccmctl I would appreciate it if you could help me.
Elizabeth Simoes
You don't need to 'eliminate' Brccmctl; just close it. See how close Internet Explorer and other programs that run on Windows?

I got the message to close the Explorer that I did and also brccmctl that he was not open so don't know what it is and do not download Flash Player. Can you tell me what brccmctl please
It is the brother Print Control center. Is what you want then try opening your task manager, and then search for all instances of "brccmctl" under the processes tab. Once found, right click and select 'end of task. After all entries have been deleted, try to reinstall.

Problem installing Flash Player 10.3
I tried to install Adobe Flash Player 10.3, which is apparently the latest version. When I go on YouTube, there are now a message at the top of the YouTube website which States that you must have Adobe Flash Player 10.3 to watch the videos. So I tried to install Adobe Flash Player 10.3, but I get the following error
Close the following programs to continue.
brccmctl
Internet Explorer
brccmctl seems to be the executed program Adobe Flash Player 10.3 Setup. If I close brccmctl, the window disappears. I use Windows XP, which is supposed to be compatible with 10.3. My browser is Internet Explorer 8.0. I also tried to turn Norton Antivirus, but has no effect on this problem.
I don't know what to do to work around this problem, help!
