  A few different things to look at here. Like other post mentioned properties DB check to ensure that there are in fact data in the cube, you can also watch storage tab or just go to the App/database folder in Windows Explorer and see if there are files index (.ind) or page (.pag) files. Assuming that there is, then you must watch if you actually ran the calc you think you did. I think you said you ran the Calc of default. Sometimes admins empty the default calc to prevent someone to run unintentionally. Make sure your default calc is the command "CALC ALL"; in it.

  Assuming that this is normal, so this can be a problem of data in the cube, but not here where you think it is. You have consolidation operators implemented in your outline incorrectly.

  Start by taking an intersection of level 0 of your workload file and querying this exact intersection. Then start to break through to your dimensions, one at a time to see where things stop consolidate. When you find the question, it will be pretty clear what is wrong.

  I am trying to build a cube in the study of environmental impact with Oracle as a data source. I created the template and the metaoutline, but when I try to save the metaoutline and start the process of loading of members it says "no measures are defined. What it means? I have not create the accounts dimension in the model data, but in metaoutline I the measures dimension right click and it marked as accounts, it is that the reason why I get this error?   With meta-open profile, go to the menu and select Edit-> properties

  Go to the tab measures database

  Click the Add button to select your fact table columns that have data measurements.

  OBIEE can't do what you ask. Once you get off, you lose the other two categories, because it acts as a filter on the drilling report. If you require to see other categories, even when drilling down:

  (1) create three versions of the report, each filtered on CARS, TRUCKS and MOTORCYCLES, respectively.

  (2) place each in a section of the dashboard. (You will need to do some formatting changes to make these look "pretty" in the dashboard, like the use of the Section header under the name of 'reports' and remove the title of views of each of the three individual reports.) This will save vertical space.)

  (3) you have now three PivotTables with the three categories. Using "break up", you will have the other two categories, indicating in the top level, even after the drilling at a level of detail for a particular report.

  Never done that. But by changing the metaoutline .xml file (to point to the new OLAP model) & import in HIA should work

  Hey, I have a few tables in Oracle which are denormalised and are not dependent on relational way which means there is no foreign key, that is to say this isn't a pattern of snowflakes or snow stars. I can create model based on OLAP with joins in IST? Please let me know this as soon as possible. Thank you.

  You build the star schema in the environmental impact assessment, there is no dependency on the links established in RDBMS.

  If you have a pattern of starting completely built in RDBMS then it's fine, but either way, when you pull on tables in your OLAP model, you must set the joints.

  So as long as you have a fact table and the dimension tables that you can "work" your fields, you will be able to build the cube.

  Environmental impact assessment does little in terms of referential integrity, that's why you can always have kickouts IST load (i.e. records made which have no corresponding members of metadata in the dimension tables).

• Breaking of links on complex documents of imported into the new document HAVE

  I create a series of maps for various projects in Illustrator. Rather than recreating a base map for each sheet of the map, I created the tiles with various features such as the coastline, rivers, lakes, the contours and shading even made that can be attached to a second document jointly. This allows me to create a larger scale or the smaller scale map and always keep the overlay place names and geographical features of the same scale. In some cases up to 8-10 tiles may be necessary for a single document, but in most cases, it is 1-4 tiles. My question: starting with CS4 links for the tiles would break when importing. So, in the links Panel, I'd get a white square with no matching name. In addition, the quality of the tile when they are imported into the document is flawed. The balance of features is turned off and items are missing. I upgraded to CC and this problem persists. The only solution is to save the tile HAVE to TIFF in Photoshop and import as art, but it removes the possibility of upgrade of the tile, as background maps are constantly improved and corrected. If they are imported as a map sheet HAVE, the modified tile can move automatically through all the documents when opening. If a TIFF, TIFF file must constantly be changed to reflect the improved tile. So basically, the entire project is only waiting to solve this issue. Thanks for any help.

  For most of the work, I prefer to turn off compatible PDf and include related images. You may prefer to work that way while in the phase of design/editing, like you, the files will be much smaller and faster.

  Also try to use instead of .tif .psd. The .psd format travels more than tests since Adobe owns and is responsible for that and the compression of nonlossy inherit makes smaller files. TIF also has LZW which is nonlossy, but you may more likely to suffer problems.

  I have added a new dimension to a fact table and created a new model of environmental impact assessment and the metaoutline. I would now change the fact table to match production. I changed it to sql and I'd like to be reflected in the model, but I don't see how. I prefer not to recreate the model. I don't want to lose the metaoutline or can associate you with another model?

  No change of name he is going to be a problem, to do that you should drag the 'new' object in your model and remap it.

  For what it's worth, as a best practice, I always run my models to views in a relational database with generic names. So, I have a view called Fact_Table. If ever, then I remodel, I can modify the tables and update the definition of the view. Then in the OLAP model all I have to do is add or remove columns, but the object allows you to stay in touch.

  Many many people have this problem when I talk to others. Miscrosoft compromises our computers so we would have to buy new ones?
  They know there is a problem and they don't even try to find a solution for this. In this economy, they force people to buy new computers, they will just leave people blocked company becase NOBODY takes the phone, if you do not have email, people don't keep in touch, if you are not on a social network or business networking nobody will know your business, you won't make any money nobody reads the ACTUAL newspapers these days, everybody reads the news on the internet. They only hurt people, they are forcing anyone to buy a new computer, people just can't afford it. Hundreds of thousands of people can barely keep their utilities on. In doing so I wish they will reconsider. I am disabled I will definitely cut if my computer goes down for good.

  There are also a lot that I need to run startup until the restoration. Windows restarts after the crash of the blue screen, I reinstalled windows twice, it works fine until I have start to install all updates. I have only installed MSE and it still happens. I lost all my music I paid a lot of money for, my paintings for children, important documents, all because I had to reinstall windows twice now.  I may have to reinstall them once more and I do NOT wish to install the updates again. He really never stops until I installed updates to windows. I thought that if I use the programs from Microsoft that it will work, because after all, it's all done by the same company, but no, nothing works. I am so in the sincere real despair. Be alone without technical skills, hardly what actually on my disability check, now I'm going to cut everyone. Now I can't do ANYTHING without it crashing, nothing fun anyway. I tried Microsoft fix, I tried so many solutions. I paid for Adobe photoshop, because I like to draw things and I'm terrified to install it. I'm afraid to do anything fun or useful on this computer.

  If I can afford a new computer at any time, I think I will try Apple, I lost my trust in Windows. Unless they make an effort to solve this problem, then I would give them a chance again, but not if they will try to help. I'm so frustrated.   Could be heat related - try using a small fan to blow into the air intakes to see if that helps.
  It is just like it loses power or stop it in the normal way? Heat associated
  does not necessarily mean excessive heat, it could be something is too sensitive to the same
  normal levels of heat. Also a computer will produce more heat as is pointed out how adding
  software or updates, among other measures, causes it. Of course those actions should not
  cause enough stress or heat to shut down the computer.

  For a laptop on everything that you can do is reinstall the memory and clean the ventilation openings (still may try to add
  a small fan as a test). Of course first remove all power.

  This sounds like material so if the above does not help you then probably need help
  a real computer store (not the leeks and the glances at a Best Buy or other stores) or the
  Support of system Maker.

• Problem with the change of a 'State' the substitution of one break of the chronology of the objects

  Here is my setup: I have a single slide for learning select 9 melodies 'text buttons' to view 9 different definitions.  To do this, I set myself to each buttons to change the "State" of the original image for the introduction of a 'legend of text' containing the definition of that label of buttons.  I also three navigation buttons (output, back and next; button_19 _20 & _21) with breaks built into the end of the timeline. coinciding with the end of the audio narration for this slide.

  Here's my problem: the calendar runs and stops as it should until the learner chooses one of the 'text' buttons after that the timeline is suspended; how it seems to send a command to "continue" and substitutes at the break, and brings the learner to the next slide.

  This has something to do with the function "States"?  I used to do exactly the same thing in Cap 7 with stocks advanced without any problem.

• How can I create and organize a symbol into the symbols in the Illustrator?

  I am trying to create a series of symbols for maps (North arrow, scale bars, etc.) and save them in the libraries of 'symbol' of the Illustrator - as the "cards".  The goal is that whenever I create a new Illustrator file, I can immediately grasp these newly created symbols without having to open another file and copy the line of the other file you want drawings (just trying to be more organized and efficient).

  I am at a loss. I understand how to make them in my drawing and break the link to change.  I also went as far to make a custom symbol and drag it onto the dialog box "Symbols" - but it wont let me to drag it into the dialog box "cards".  And even if I did drag a symbol in the dialog box - is it automatically saved?  There is no instructions on how to record the symbols the user creates.

  One tip more. Break your 3 codes part, tag Scripts, Style and tag Div in the body tag.

  This will help you avoid unexpected in the preview behavior when you have stuff more inserted into the Muse Page.

• Unexpected break to the COP6 with quiz.

  Hi all

  Apologies if this has been addressed elsewhere, but I've not found anywhere.

  In a module that I created, a quiz is dispersed on the length of the module so that students get intermittent "Test your knowledge" questions. By the way: they are not classified in this regard, they just need to get feedback and move. All questions are MC (some multiple single answer, some). In quiz preferences, I am hosting several attempts.

  On the request of the customer, they should be able to return to the exercise at any time again. Regardless of whether or not they answered the question correctly.

  This means that the quiz all the reset after each question answered. In CP5, the solution was to simply 'jump' the quiz to a blank slide and jump to the slide after the question answered. I noticed that in CP6, it's different: actually go beyond the results slide (hidden in my case) to reset.

  The solution is then in this case to access a blank slide before the result slide. This slide does nothing more than to continue. You also need a blank slide after the landslide results. On this slide, entrance, I created an action that takes the module to the next slide after the slide in question that I left in the first place. Our quiz results slide is always at the end of the module.

  Example: If the results of the quiz was slide 30, I created a blank slide 30 and a blank slide 32 with the 31 quiz results slide. Slide 31 is hidden, but miraculously, Captivate the increments of the quiz number attempt if I'll blade 30-32.

  Then, I still need to return to the slide of the question, or in fact, the next slide in the theory in the module (as I said, this isn't a test at the end, the questions are dispersed on the module).

  That's what I came with:

  First of all, I created the 'QuestionSlideLeft' variable (init: 0)

  Leaving the question slide, I run a peak called QuestionSlideLeft action that does the following:

  "Expression - equal to CpInfoCurrentSlide + 0 QuestionSlideLeft"

  I added a second line with 'Continue' for good measure. In the properties of quiz I make the leap to my blank slide before the slide results (in my example "Jump to Slide 30' for success and failure.

  On the slide after slide of results, I run dvanced BackToNextSlide action

  'Assign cpCmdGotoSlide with QuestionSlideLeft' + continue and I added go to next page for good measure. This next slide should go to cpCmdGotoSlide.

  The funny thing is: sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. After some hair pulling, curse, blowing steam, it now seems to be due to a unexpected break on the first of the two empty slides, i.e. one that precedes the slides. If I saw you post with the playback bar, I can click on the Play button and it will execute advanced action.

  So, basically, my question is: is that what someone has had the same experience and how can I fix this problem? If I do something wrong, I would appreciate it much comment. I have discussed with our expert resident of Captivate and he doessn t know the answer either.

  Thought I had posted my workflow in January some time, but cannof it find. That's what I use in CP7, but I suspect it works very well in 6 establishments. BTW: what version of 6 because he had 3 releases?

  Principle is that when you provide the attempts of infinity (or many) Quiz level, once you get to the slide of Score, the next attempt can be started. If you pass a question score slide slide (you must have this visible one) and return to the slide of the question, answer is deleted because a new Quiz attempt began.

  Create a reset button for the question slide and allow it to trigger an action of standard tip with two instructions:

  1. Go to "slide to score."
  2. Go to last visited Slide

  In Captivate 7 I turned into a shared action, only the parameter being the number or label of the slide to score and it can be reused in any project.

  The usual javascript for a newline '\n' command does not work.  But the html command.  The script run MS Outlook for Mac 14.3.8 and types the text into the fields Email to deal with the correct line breaks:

  The problem is that this same script executed at the XI player not reformatted a line break at all in the same email client. Not with the characters \n or < br >. The result is just a big block of text similar to the following:

  The only other variable here is the pdf executed by Reader is a Reader Extended PDF.
