• After the bridge update files lost

  I used bridge CC (not 2015) and I was updating bridge (the 2015 version) and now all my files are gone. I can not open CC bridge more and when I open the version 2015 bridge and go to "Recent files" it sees the files, but when I try to open them it says "file not found". Is there a way I can recover these files?

  The list of files returned is a static list. No warranty at all the files are still there. For example if you delete or move a file from the list of recent files not updated, it just says that it cannot find the file.

  Bridge is simply a browser so, normally, that it does not touch your files, unless you move them manually.

  Try Explorer (or Finder) to see where you are files really is...

  I get the following message when trying to update Adobe Bridge CS5 4.0.5 and PhotoShop Camera Raw "there was an error downloading this update. Quit and try again later.

  I have retried several times... no luck. I spent two hours on Adobe Chat only to be told that they do not have the answer and I need to go on this forum. All I want to do is update Bridge and Photoshop.

  I have the photographer subscription but I just got a notice of update for bridge CC and it updated Bridge version 6.1.1.10.

  Bridge should be not a CC 2015 as LR and PS app?

  If so, how I would change?

  Right. Adobe has no problem all new editions of bridge since CC. I'm not sure reasons, but as long as it works with creative cloud.

  Bridge isn't really a photo as Lightroom Manager. It is more than a manager of digital assets for design projects in Adobe applications.

  This should give you an idea.

  What Adobe Bridge

  The bridge is the focal point of the Creative Suite. Synchronization of parameters of color management for all programs of the suite is based on bridge and cannot be made of the bridge, take one of the important uses.

  Bridge displays real thumbnails of many other types of files as the Finder or Explorer. It also allows instant playback of audio or video files more easily than the native operating system management of files.

  Bridge allows direct access to the metadata file, to include keywords and copyright information as appropriate (for example, for raster files and vector of company logo). It also displays the fonts used in an InDesign file, the nuances in an INDD or Amnesty International and output (including spot color plates) plates they use.

  When you manage assets for a design project, Bridge allows a quick and simple sorting, the coast and labelling custom (with indications flash color) of assets. I can rate images according to whether they are possible, for consideration by the customer, rejected or approved. The bridge built-in filters allow snapshot isolation of the only approved images or drawings of a folder, only rejects it (for deletion) or only files with certain ratings, regardless of the number of files it contains. It recognizes the extensions, so if I only need a landscape or a 16:9 image in a folder of hundreds of images, I turn off the aspect ratios I don't need.

  Once filtered, remaining visible files can be selected and copied, moved, or deleted without affecting the rest of the contents of a folder.

  The collections are a useful feature heavily. One of my clients is a performing arts center, and in one season, we prove dozens of ads, flyers, brochures, web banners, posters, billboards, and other related equipment using the same assets over and over again. These assets are held by the artist or the show on the disc, but I put in place every season repeating assets as a bridge Collection, while I have to open the collection and drag and drop these assets in new INDD, PSD, HTML (Dreamweaver), FLA or AE projects without having to navigate to a folder to pick up individual files.

  Favorite bridge is another place I battery frequently requested records, such as stock photography, the backgrounds and records of higher level for ongoing projects.

  Assets can be divided into subfolders, but a quick toggle "Show items from subfolders" exposes all the assets at a glance while maintaining their organization. In general, I'll keep AIs, PSD, EPS, photos and client images in separate subfolders within a project. When I'm ready to start shooting assets in an InDesign layout, I switch it on and then drag that I need in the layout.

• Can't get Bridge update to install on MAC: valid S.N. works.

  I can't get the update of loading on the Mac bridge. Adobe CS5 extended works great and updates for the P.S. etc everything worked fine, but I can't get the update of bridge to load into the Mac. It just says failed to install. Very frustrating because I have a lot of photos with the new RAW format of the Canon Powershot G15, which can not be seen or worked on inBridge, PS or Lightroom (L.R. is also up-to-date).

• Uninstall CS4 does not not because the bridge/Updater 'open '.

  But they are not.

  I'll have some really funky issues with CS4 and the only way I know maybe fix is to uninstall and reinstall.

  When you installed your files backed up from the backup, you also install the CS4 or have you installed from the disc PS CS4?

  If you have run from the backup, I think that the installation had been botched.

  What I would do is disable CS4. Choose to disable that if your installation on another computer. The CS4 and then re-install. Reinstall the software as an administrator. When you insert the disc do not run. Free to explore and find the photoshop file. in this file, locate the .exe file. Right click on that and choose Run as administrator.

  But before you install you want to run the CS4 clean script. Follow the instructions, but there is a level 1 or level 2 cleaning. Type 3 and clean.

  When installing CS4, you don't have to install CS3 or CS2. Just type in CS2 or CS3 serial numbers when asked.

  When installing CS4 to 90 percent, the installation hangs for about 10 minutes. It's normal.

  Restart after installing CS4. After restart right-click on PS CS4 on the start menu where the programs are shown. Click Properties, compatibility, then run as admin check. Hit apply and then ok to close. Launch Photoshop and update.

  I shut down the computer, and Windows 10 had an update.  I waited for the update of Windows 10 load and then turned the computer back on.  I opened creative cloud and bridge update was available again.  This time the update ran properly, bringing customary dialog regarding making changes to the computer.  The update then installed correctly.  Problem solved.  I still have no idea what the underlying problem has been...

• Update of Adobe Bridge on a MAC

  I downloaded the upgrade manually.

  I double clicked on the dmg file after downloading and it failed. The error.log showed this message. I did some research and did not get a hit.

• Impossible to update Bridge CS2

  When I started Photoshop CS2, I was informed that he did not have an update to CS2. I had to install the update.   I am running Windows 7 RC. Since a few days I started having error 8024402C when Windows 7 try to look for updates. I get a warning to take care of this error, but when I ask more information, Windows returns the message that the error is unknown. If anyone can help?

  I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. I installed After effects and bridge CC., but when I click on browse presets. I get this error "Afer effects WARNING: Adobe Bridge is not installed.
