Update of Adobe Bridge on a MAC

I downloaded the upgrade manually.

I double clicked on the dmg file after downloading and it failed. The error.log showed this message. I did some research and did not get a hit.

I watched the news in the log/installer file. He seems to think that some payload is already there. But when I open Adobe Bridge, always says that it is at version 5.0.0.399 and not 5.0.1. So, how do 5.0.1 now? Thanks Rod

I've just updated Photoshop CC 2014 and 2015. Which works very well. I then applied the update to the bridge. Bridge will now launch fine, but when I try to open an image I get an error message saying that Windows cannot find Photoshop. The path, there need is C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC (64 Bit) \Photoshop.exe. It's really weird because does not point to CC Nevermind 2014 2015 CC.
I tried to uninstall bridge via the creative cloud Panel and then a reinstall. Still the same problem. Before I updated to 2015 bridge CC worked very well with CC 2014. It is only since the update of 2015 the redone problem surface.
Any suggestions?

I'm a Mac guy I can only give you a guess.

Not sure what happened to cause this but one thing you might try is to go to the preferences of your Bridge and go to the file type Associations tab. Now scroll through the different types of files and select some more frequent for the PS (JPEG, TIF, etc..) Check that the track of the bird to the PS goes to the right place and if it is not reset it.

Let us know if that does or not.

Adobe Bridge CS6 on Mac problem

I can't get Adobe Bridge CS6 to work on my Mac. Just bought Photoshop CS6 and downloaded from adobe.

Have CS6 LR etc, but having real problems, installation and update of program ADOBE EVERYTHING including Flash. CS6 it got to the point where I went through the Adobe representative on the online chat and we ended up having to put in place a new log-in which allowed in part but CS6 last updated has not been updated. I took my apple Mac which did a software and check HD and all is well!
Now I signed CC Adobe for photoshop and I can't install Photoshop CC and get the following error message. This isn't what I expect from the combination of Apple and Adobe! Can pls someone advise.

Photo Downloader Adobe Bridge recognizing only no camera after upgrading to El captain in Mac

Recently, I upgraded my Macbook Pro to El captain, since then my Adobe Bridge Photo downloader no longer recognizes my cards or camera. Adobe Bridge CC, cache problems

CC of Adobe Bridge (Mac) does not - nothing seems to help

I can't get my CC bridge to open. When I click the icon, it bounces in the dock a few times, and then quit.
I feel I have tried everything that I could come up with to help solve this problem. I uninstalled the app and installed it again – did not help. I have uninstalled all single Adobe app and creative cloud, installed new - did not help. I tried to open the application in safe mode, deleting the temporary files - did not help. I tried to do a fresh install on a different user account, tried setting user permissions and all the advice simple I could find online - as all mentioned on this thread: Adobe Bridge CC does not open - and I have tried everything several times just to be sure.
-J' had this problem for over 6 months, and no updates of Adobe software it has set.
Now I'm desperate - that happens in the world will it take to do my job as bridge CC again?

Yes, please check if you have Photoshop installed on your machine, if yes open it once so that you can edit your images in Camera Raw Utility in Bridge.

Also, you can update the camera raw plugin: Camera Raw of Adobe Photoshop CC and CS6 Installer
