Bring a windows program to the front

I searched this but can't find anything that responded to my question.

Is it possible to control programmatically that are in front of windows programs?

So if I was running a vi (which is on the top) and I had to automatically carry a program of windows running at the front?

Then when I was bring vi operation back to the front.

How this can be done?

Thank you

Rick.

I downloaded both versions and version 8.6 crashed my Labview each time.

But the 2010 version seemed to work OK.

Thanks for the help.

Looks like you may have a virus or other malware. Get your updated antivirus program and boot into Safe Mode. Note that some viruses can hide from your normal antivirus program, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To enter in Safe Mode when you turn on first, press F8 on every seconds until you get the menu, and then select Safe Mode. Then run a complete system scan.

If that suits him fine. If this is not the case, use system restore to go back to an earlier date at the beginning of the problem. To run system restore, click Start-> programs-> Accessories-> System Tools-> system restore. Click on the box that says show more restore points.

You can check the corrupted system files. Open an administrator command prompt and run SFC if the above does not help. Click START, and then type sfc in the search box, right-click to SFC. EXE and click run as administrator. Then, from the command prompt type sfc/scannow.

Finally if all else fails, you can look at the rather cryptic system event log. To make, click Start-> Control Panel-> administration-> event viewer tools. Once in Event Viewer system log-click and scroll entries looking for these "error" with indicator see if you can find guidance on where the problem may be.

  • Hide / disable the front panel

    Long story, long:

I created a little utility like a VI.  The utility accepts command-line arguments, reads a file, outputs (using .NET) on the console, and then must close.  The front panel is empty, and the program is expected to completed in a fraction of a second.  In fact, I bet that "demand" fresh General takes longer than the actual program.  I would have coded in another language, but I can read only the cluster in a binary file with LabVIEW.

Because your sequence settings do not match your source files.

Create a new empty sequence in first by clicking file > New > sequence and select a setting preset - it won't matter that one.

When the empty script opens, drag any of your camera to the chronology source files, and you will be asked to make the adjustments in the sequence to change to match the source material. Say yes - you should be good to go.

What is the menu item "Bring everything to the front ', and how to use it?

It's a selection in the window menu and means to bring all open windows of this application at the front and push all the windows open for other applications behind. This makes access to the easiest application windows. However, if you don't have that one window open in an application, then the menuitem does nothing.

RE: Windows Defender cannot be found.

If you have the following AV, antivirus, programs installed, close your Windows Defender. Purpose of these AVs have their own advocates. 2 defenders on the same machine will create conflicts.
Bottom line: it's ok. It's normal.
List of AVs which will stop Windows Defender:
    Norton
    McAfee
    AVG
    Microsoft Security Essentials

If you don't have AV programs above, here's how to restart Windows Defender:

Start button > in the search box, typeServices > press the Enter key > scroll to find Windows Defender, click on it >...
topic status , it must be said... Has begun
under Startup Type, it must be said... Automatic
If it does not say that, right click on Windows Defender > click Properties >

to the service status, click Start
    Click OK when finished.
  • New windows program does not open in front

I'm having a problem with Windows 7 not allowing not new programs that I begin to open at the front.  This happens not all the time.  Most of the time system works very well, but I've noticed when I have several windows open with several programs all running at the same time, he decides to take action and new windows will not open in front.  I have an external display connected to my laptop Dell Precision.

When this happens, I notice Outlook seems to be dominate what he won't let any other window open in front of him, so I have to in order to see the other windows.  My Adobe programs do the same thing, IE. Photoshop, dreamweaver, illustrator, etc.

When it happens, I also tried the option tab of the window to scroll through open windows and select the one that I would have in mind, but even if I can scroll through windows, when I stop and select the window I want to work on, he won't come to the top.  It's VERY frustrating when I work and a small window opens behind the window, I'm working on and I can not select the prompt window so it freezes ultimately my job because I can not move the program window, because an open window that I can't get to.  Is an example, you are working on a file and you want to save, you click on save and the dialogue window opens behind, asking where to save it to.  You can't get to the prompt window so you cannot tell him where to save it and can not minimize the file you are working, therefore, stop the entire program, hoping that it backs up automatically and pick up then from there.

When this happens, the only way I can fix it is to restart my computer.  I tried settings regedit to fix it and those who did not.  Any help would be appreciated.  It is difficult to diagnose the problem, as it rarely happens so I can't recreate the environment in which he begins the questions.

    Hello

Please contact Microsoft Community. I understand most of the time when you open a new program it does not appear at the top of the screen. This can happen due to the entriesor of incorrect registry due to corruption in the system of Windows. file So I will help you solve the problem. So I will help you solve the problem.

Please follow the steps mentioned below:

    Step 1:
Start your computer in a clean boot because it allows to start the computer with the minimum set of drivers and startup programs and check if that helps. See the link below to run clean boot:

Note: After troubleshooting, refer to the section «How to reset the computer to start normally after a boot minimum troubleshooting»

    Step 2:

Check the registry settings if there are all variations of the default value , change default and check if the problem is resolved:

    1. Press Windows + R, type regedit in the box open called to run and click on ok.
    2. Open the key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop.
    3. Now in the window of the registry editor in the pane right, you will find the keys to the foreground Flash Count and foreground Lock timeout.

Check out the links below and check the default values on your computer. Check if you have the same values as shown in the links below:

  • Running programs on the BACK of the prompt in Windows 7

Until the duty to upgrade to Windows 7, I was always able to access the old financial data by running MYM9 (Andrew Tobias), a program of BACK to the command prompt.  He has worked with all previous versions of Windows... to right up through XP, Service Pack 3. But NOT NOW less than 7.  If anyone has found a way to work around the 32-bit error, 84 bits and was able to run BACK old programs?  Microsoft Compatibility Pack provides to run programs under previous versions does not help. I changed through Microsoft Money in 2000, but they have now abandoned who... and now I can't access previous data. Help someone?  Nancy

Thanks for the info and the links... sounds like I have to do a lot of reading more or become more a "techi" - your first link Windows answers my question. Microsoft's virtual solution does NOT work under 7 Home Premium.  I was happy to see that there are other options than a $200 upgrade. Take a look at the DOSBOX solution first, since I am much more familiar with the BACK I'm with Windows!  Giving my age a bit - don't you :-) away

Since Windows Vista no longer has a DOS-like command processor full screen if any of these old programmes full screen will run without some kind of emulation program. The 'virtual Microsoft solution' you are thinking is very specific to Win7 Pro, but there are several other 'free' virtualization options out there, including the Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 pre-Win7 version which runs in any version of Windows XP and more. There is also an update of service for this package.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/en-US/Download/details.aspx?ID=4580

Apart from this there are also VirtualBox and VMware Player to create virtual machines that are running in windows.

IMO, however your best bet would be to use the program DOSBOX (run programs from a command prompt in DOSBOX) or better yet one of the windows based front-end programs that rely on it, as D-Fend Reloaded.

    http://dfendreloaded.sourceforge.NET/

With these you don't need to source another OS to install in an environment virtual (they come with the freeware BACK). Once installed D-Fend Reloaded is managed like any Windows program. With it you can configure virtual BACK environments customized to each of your programs under DOS to run in.

Once configured, select the program you want to run from a list.

There are several other Windows programs that front-end for DOSBOX, of varying complexity.

  • Is it possible to place a window to the front and keep it there?

I use desktop mode in Windows 8.

I used to be able to not only a right click to place at the front, which I can't find, but it has stop there, at least with the iTunes miniplayer. I don't know if this has been a feature of iTunes or something I could do with Windows.

Or the other of these things is possible?

    Hello

It is 'possible' for a program to write so that it will stay, or at least trying to stay, in short
on the desktop. But this is not a function, you can enable in Windows. And this no doubt

only works on the office if at all in Windows 8/8.1.

There is Kiosk Mode/Assigned access but not practical for a multifunction computer.

I had the pop up ads sensation can cause the problem and talked about it to the engineer in computer science from my father. It installs Malewarebytes and there was indeed still a maleware by repair men left. The difference was, Chrome to view the full announcement page while Firefox may have in maintaining security to block this kind of page, and the result was the error message. (I didn't know that because it happened to me on my computers to the precedents and even Firefox used to show me the ad then) Thank you for warning me.
