Broken in CS6 scene detection?

I have terrible trouble video capture in CS6. Specifically, all 60 seconds or so CS6 guard invites me to record the scene, he thinks he is captured, even if the detection of scene is * not * checked (it is off) and demolition on the loss of images is also off.

I would be happy to have him just capture the band as a single scene, but he refuses to cooperate.

I can't disable the scene detect, seems.

Other reports alone, that I could find are CS5 so that suggestions there do not seem to make a difference.

Re: Work Possible around to capture and scene detection

Anyone else seen this problem?

Installation program:
Mac OS X 10.10.2

CANON GL2 (mini DV, firewire)

First Pro CS6

I ended up stage activation detects and guarding that particular tape. It was extremely painful and not what I would expect from a professional product as first.

As a side note, it seems that detection of scene work and maybe that's a problem with a separate mechanism that tries to detect the end of the Ribbon or something.

Some weird things going on here.  You have selected to grayscale so that your image is grayscale.  It looks like the preview image is reversed, what can be done by checking the box reverse, but which has not been verified.  When you make a selection, so when you make the selection based on your example above, it actually choose the Green?  If so, try the box reverse selection.

I can control the HVR M15U, see and hear the video playback, but when I click on the record button, the screen becomes a blue screen with the rules of the game on the video material (what?) text on the screen and no audio. I don't have the ability to detect scene. It records the audio and video in a long clip (blind faith just is the recording and I do not have something for the blind).

I have an another editing system with Windows 7 64-bit CS4 Production Premium with a Matrox RT - X 2 card. When I connect the HVR-M15U to this system, I can see and hear the recording as it is captured, with scene detect the work.

My goal is to make this new system works without a Matrox RT - X 2 card. Where can I change the settings in order to see and hear what is recorded? How can I also get the scene detection to work? I made the change of compatible host OHCI 1394 controller (legacy), but that has not changed anything.

Are there settings to see and hear the video as it is registered?

Use HDVSplit. Much better than the CS4 PR, offer scene detection, avoids errors OOS (out-of-sync), gives an extract and is free.

    Hi TW,.

Premiere Pro currently cannot do at capture scene detection, not in existing files. However, you can use SpeedGrade for the same thing.

  • Corresponding to speedgrade shots and try to use scene change detection.

Hi people, so feel free to correct me if I'm wrong here, but I would have thought that speedgrade and with 2 - up characteristic based on the shots. If I happen to place the sliders 1 and 2 on the same chassis of same clip I would have taken that image should look the same in the two videos? Because I did a quick glance suddenly earlier and had applied to the item in question why the preview would be different between the two sliders...

Also when I try to use the scene detection feature, it seems to be obscured when you dynamically link to the organization. But even more annoying when I open a video directly in speedgrade, as soon as I select the scene then detects, it blocks the request.

Learn the game-shot stuff is a bit difficult at the beginning. A the things that I always forget when I get back to that is you have TO select the number of the head you are trying to copy to so it is highlighted before clicking this icon of the corresponding color arrow. As in this screenshot...

Click on that play-head number (1) and then click the arrow-on-the-color-ball (2) and it should then change the clip below that play - head to the other clip. In this case, the second clip tried match the previous item.

  • Automatically detect orientation using the crop tool

Hello, according to my knowledge the crop tool in CS6 automatically detect whether the image was a picture of format portrait or landscape photo format. I now use the trial of CC, but in this version, I can't find this option. When I now open a portrait-format photo cropping tool remembers the last harvest-setting. If it was a portrait-ratio is not a problem, but when I cropped photo landscape format I have to manually change the orientation from landscape to portrait.

Anyone who can help me with this? Or has this feature disappearted in CC?

Note that in your Options Panel in the upper part, you have 3:2 (4:6). To the left of that, right click on the crop tool icon and select Reset tool as in the screenshot, I sent earlier. This will change the options of the report tool that you see in my screenshot.

Once you have reset the cropping tool, send a new screenshot of the Options Panel.

  • My Wacom Graphire4 graphics tablet works only with the pen pressure, OK in CS5 but not CS6...

I am Windows 7 Professional 64 bit and still have the CS5 and CS6 64 bits loaded.  I've used my tablet with stylus Graphire4 with CS6 will detect all problems.  All of a sudden it only works with the pen pressure even if the stylus pressure is off.  I'm trying to use it as a mouse and frequently use shift/click when you change a mask.  I can do it no longer.  If I run CS5 the pen works as it should but not CS6.  When I first open the CS6 with visible brush the brush palette shows a hard brush, but when I open a file it turns into sensitive pressure without measure by me.  I have reset the brushes, re-installed the driver and finally downloaded a driver more but the problem persists.  Because it works very well in CS5 but not CS6 it must be a problem to Adobe.  It's very frustrating.  I enclose a composite image showing what happens to the CS6.  The right side shows what looks like the brush palette until I open a file.  The left side shows what happens when I open a file.   Even if I do not open a file and make changes within the brush palette, it immediately turns to pen pressure.  It's very strange.

I would of course someone can provide information that could help.

    Kind regards... Ralph

  • Transitions on scenes do not work

    Greetings!

Please forgive a newbie from a beginner user, question I searched for the answer to this problem for a few days now, so I apologize if it has been discussed before.

I am creating a video marriage for my wife for Christmas, but I'm running into issues.

Fortunately, the 4 DV tapes, I captured imported in first and he saw scenes! I do not know how, because everything I read that you had said to capture with first with scene detection on in order for this to happen, but they are there and who cut a lot of work to split the four long strips.

The problem I have is that if I simply drag the two clips in the timeline panel or the timeline, and then create a simple cross dissolve transition between the two, it just doesn't work.

What happens instead, it's the first scene fades to black and the other appears in. The transition failed even seems not to extend on both scenes. It seems to have applied at the end of the first scene, and the other is exactly where it starts.

I'd appreciate very much any help you could offer...

    Thank you

    Matt

That is right for your timeline. It works in layers with the upper layers having priority. If you want to have the second clip through show you will need to change the opacity of the top tether.

But to use a transition put the two clips on the video track and drag your transition to it. You will then see the drop to the transition area.

    See you soon,.

  • Stops shortly whatever I try capture settings.

It seems not to be possible to tell Premiere Pro to capture a video until you tell it to stop. To save others from taking a trip around the web for a help page, I already found and read this topic. We try to capture VHS video. Typical VHS player attached to a Datavideo DAC-100 converter. Output of the converter via FireWire.

I will first discuss the steps that we have tried. Ask it to save time if we tried x, y, z.

    (1) disabled the scene Detection and interrupting the capture on the loss of images (in fact, never had them to attempt).

    (2) under control of the device, we tried so many choices Datavideo (which is the type of converter that we have) and generic. Also tried all three options Format of the timecode with the two device options.

    (3) try with the control device set to None (which produced the best race we could get with a manual start).

    (4) it's the Middle 2010 Westmere Mac Pro, 6-Core Intel Xeon with 16 GB of RAM.

    (5) have tried Snow Leopard, 10.6.8 under Lion 10.7.4 with first Pro CS 6 and first Pro CS 5.5.

    (6) tried clicking on tape to start recording (the worst results no matter what other settings) and a manual start (the best).

After going around in circles, we finally determined what is happening. Premiere Pro prevents the capture anytime he thinks he detects a difference of time code. And no matter where we have the settings.

If you click on the Strip to start, this is the worst. Any change (the video camera was turned off and turned back on even five seconds later), the capture will stop. Very boring because the band is still underway but you must reject the naming area and then click on save again. Meanwhile, you have lost the part of the video that was still ongoing struggle to revive. No, you can't save because he continues to stop at the same change in reading.

What works the best was to adjust the device none, so the capture would not get any type of timecode information from Datavideo device and clicking the manual record button.

Still a problem, though. Registration will be walked a few changes in the time codes without stopping, but always stop on a major change. As the videos of family a few months apart. They are right next to each other on the Strip, like a cut scene, but the capture stop! And yet, you can't back up to get these rate 5-10 seconds because Premiere Pro will keep stopping on the switch.

So, how in the world can you tell Premiere Pro to continue to capture until YOU tell it to stop?

Well, I think I have a definitive answer on this. I have filed a bug to Apple report and they said that they could not reproduce the problem. Which is pretty hard to believe after narrowing the real problem. I went to this topic much more slowly and methodically and came up with a completely reproducible question. The problem is Adobe applications (in part). Specifically, the installation of.

With Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion, I started by erasing a disc and install the operating system from scratch, then it was clean. No third-party driver not added, all updates applied. At this point, you could capture video with no blocking or unexpected, stopping using QuickTime X and QuickTime 7.

I then installed the CS6 Master Collection. Just after that, the judgments of capture returned. A matter if you have tried to do in QT directly, or the Capture function in Premiere Pro (which uses QT to do anyway, so it's really the same thing). I did the same test again on a disk are deleted and CS5.5. In all cases, the results were the same. Video capture was broken after installing suites Adobe.

The difficulty was to reinstall the OS after installing Adobe software. A pain in the rear, but it fixed regardless of the installation of Adobe broke.

The only thing that is a problem with QuickTime directly, it's how it picks up the signal from the VCR. You need to start the tape first, and then the capture. If you do anything with the VCR, after capturing has already begun (stop, rewind, play of forwards), capture stops immediately. I have report as a bug to Apple. QT should not pay the least bit of attention to what the user does in the VCR. The only thing she should do records analog output until you tell it to stop.

  • Film plays in sync on video players ~ movie plays out of sync in the first

I have five movies HDV 60 min recording on a Canon HV40.

Using Windows 7 Pro 64 bit, Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and made a capture in the usual way on these five films.

After the capture, I began the usual changes but I found that 3 movie audio was seriously out of sync with the voice of the guest speaker.

I took the movies on another computer (a HP z800 and HP z230) and all the films played perfect except Film 3.

3 movie plays perfectly in WMP and Vimeo.

I chose to make an another upload/capture - renamed Film 3 and here I still encountered the same problem.

All movies in this series of conference were shot the same day, the same device. Film / film out film / film out - nothing unusual.

Properties and all the films in this series are identical.

    Hello

Your not limited to any manufacturer of player, so you are free to choose the HARD drive you want.  The only point to keep in mind is to buy a replacement of equal capacity drive (or slightly larger) to the original - installing a lower capacity drive may cause problems when using recovery discs to reinstall the operating system.

This type of message means usually only one or several keys on the keyboard are stuck in the down position. You can inspect the keyboard to see if the keys are blocked mechanically. It is also possible that a spill of liquid caused one or more keys electrically 'Short' and watch the BIOS as if the key is stuck.

If you are mechanically handy, you can remove the keyboard for inspection and cleaning. The material for the T61 series Maintenance Manual provides detailed instructions on the installation/uninstallation of the keyboard as well as the numbers for replacement keyboards. You can find used keyboards cheap on eBay, etc.

By the way this post made me smile. This kind of problem and message goes back to the first IBM PC. I remember getting a BIOS message such as "error of keyboard: press to continue." The message was issued because I forgot to plug the keyboard in the system unit. It's a message ridiculous because if the keyboard is disconnected or broken how BIOS will detect that you pressed F1 or any other key?
