  I have a Satellite Pro U300, who has a broken LCD screen.
  I have a replacement screen, but not sure how to go abouts it change places.

  Someone at - it a service manual for this model or the tricks and tips on how to disassemble the unit to swap the LCD broke with a new one?

  The service manual can be downloaded. It s not for the public and it s only for Toshiba and approved providers available I think.
  On the Toshiba site, you can download the user manual, but I doubt it would be useful for you.

  I think the best way would be if you go to an authorized service provider. The exchange of the LCD is a little tricky and you should have experience with this.
  On the Toshiba site, you can search for an ASP. I m sure that the technicians will help you. ;)

  This model has an LCD with a resolution of 1366 * 768.

  The same series (example: S11 - 11 d) was also equipped with the LCD HD + (1600 * 900)

  You are right. both models have different LCD displays but the same graphics card. I can't say for sure, but I'm sure you can use the HD screen + with your laptop.

  None that I know. But the replacement of the screen is not that complicated, as long as you get the right part and install it correctly. Any cell phone repair shop should be able to do.

  You can also take in your carrier and they can get it fixed for you, but they charge generally more than a centre of independent repair. But again, you can take in and ask them a quote and they can let you know.

  Otherwise, just do a Google search for "BlackBerry repair" in your city, and it must identify a nearby repair shop. And do not hesitate to ask them guarantees, etc. Some may offer a 30 day guarantee on their work, or so on.

  I put t know in which country you live but Google a little and see if you can find a PC shop where you can order parts for your model of laptop.

• Satellite L30-115 - broken TFT screen

  Question:
  The l30-115 lcd screen broke.

  Details:
  -laptop was not abandoned.
  -L' darkness is uniform.
  -Everything turns good, meaning, you can see the loading of the OS in the background.
  -Works fine on the external monitor (FN + F5)

  Already tried:
  -Replace the connectors.
  -Tested the ups with another exhibition (14.1 "another brand) - result: the backlight fine firred_up.
  -Tried an other inverter (exact model), same result.

  My conclusions:
  -The backlight of the screen is broken. Should change.

  Problem:
  I don't have a backlight for the same exact model to display. I find order in my region.

  Question:
  Find similar backlight (toshiba tecra 8200 14 in.) for 10 euros. Can I use in my model?
  I also read that the backlight switch may be stuck. I couldn't find it on this model. Should I use a magnetic sensor?

  Well, the L30 was equipped with 14.1 TFT WXGA display.
  I think that the 14 could be too small for the L30. But this is only my assumption

  No it will not damage anything else as long as you do not let moisture touch the screen or damage it more.

  Do a search on Google or Bing for touch digitizer of replacement for HP Slate 7 2801 to find an online provider of a touch digitizer replacement.  Otherwise, you can contact HP to arrange to have done, at a cost, because it was customer induced (inadvertently or otherwise) of damage. You can find screens for about $ $50,00 if you're looking for with sufficient diligence.  You will need a tool thin spudger to replace the touch digitizer and adhesive strips to hold it in place. There are tutorials on the web that show how this is done, but you will have to search for them.

  Who does not know by Dell. Dell won't repair monitors, sells components to monitor nor have the documents of disassembly. We simply Exchange under the three-year warranty. Given the low cost of this entry level monitor, it may be cheaper just to replace the whole screen.

  Replace it. The part is usually called a bezel screen if I understood... you mean the framework plasic as a frame around the screen. These plastic parts are usually available on eBay. HP Partsurfer would have them too but probably prohibitive in cost.

• Alienware LCD screen

  I have a 1 year Alienware 17 R2, which features an LCD broken/problem - the colors are washed out and there are purple spots everywhere.  I am sure that it is a hardware problem (LCD screen) because when I connect it to an external monitor/TV, the display is correct.

  My laptop is still covered by the warranty.  I bought this in the United States and settled here in PH - where I am based.

  How to get help or if the warranty?  I already have the "transfer of property" online, contacted several ways of Support from Dell (including that of the India), but I was passed from one to the other without assistance.

  Who can I call or email so that someone can help me?

  Anyway, the LCD was replaced yesterday by an authorized Dell and the screen is back to normal now.

  You should have no problem splitting on two monitors, LCD or CRT display. PE4, there is a limitation, and I think it was the timeline. Don't know if this limitation still exists with PE7. I've shared between 2 21 "CRT (for PrPro), but not as my calendar to be broken by the two monitors, so never use this way. Steve Grisetti can tell you if PE7 still has this limitation with the timeline panel, but you can get everything on the second monitor afer 'disconnect you' them.

  With respect to the GPU, unless you're doing more work NLE, like 3D, the Quadro will be exaggerated. I have one on my desktop and even with light 3D, it's more that I need. Good card, but I probably should have spent the extra of $ for another HARD drive (even if this machine has 6 already). Any card that is capable of double-head will work. Just be sure to check the connections and the specifications for each display. My Quadro will handle anything and everything I need were conversion adapters to drive my CRT.

  I like my nVidia, but lately, there have been problems with Adobe products and new nVidia drivers. The time that Adobe and nVidia are associated, the drivers went south to Adobe products. Go figure? ATI has received good reviews on most of Adobe for one, and their drivers seem to work very well.

  When I do NLE my computer work 17 "laptop, I travel everywhere in me, because I'm used to the double monitors on the floor.

• Satellite PRO U500 - LCD screen size is reduced

  Hi all,

  I have a Toshiba Satellite Pro U500 with one small problem, the size of the LCD screen is reduced. I have a white border to the right and down. The max resolution is 1024 x 768.
  The problem is visible also when I enter the BIOS, so I think that the problem is not Operting System drivers.
  Is there a solution to my problem? I have to send in the audience?

  It is really strange, especially if you see the same thing in the BIOS settings?
  Since when did you notice this behavior?
  Do you use pre-installed OS original you got with your laptop?

  Have you done something that may be responsible for the issue described?

  I U500 and default display resolution is 1280 X 800 t, so I understand why you have 1024 X 768 on your U500.
