• Adobe browser lab does not

  Hello

  I use Dreamweaver CS6.  My browser lab has never worked.  The rest of DW works perfectly.  When I click on 'Preview in Adobe browser Lab' or press ctrl + shift + 12, nothing happens at all.  Not even an error message.  What do you think of what the cause might be?  Thank you.

  I have a video on Adobe.com about Adobe browser Lab and tried to launch Adobe browser Lab, but it deos not work.

  I use Dreamweaver CS6.

  I would like to know do I need to install Adobe browser Lab as extenstion or it comes with 6 CS standard installation?

  Also, I tried to change my configuration of the Coder more Office and see Lab browser Adobe on the right pane, but once I click the button it disappears and I can't get back.

• Links do not work in the browser Lab

  I am a designer of Web site in Springfield, Missouri. I'm testing my website: oursmartweb.com and I can't click on the links within the Lab browser (when the test pages and websites). It shows the pointer of the mouse, turning it into a helping hand (as if it is a link), but it's just sitting there.

  Is there a solution to this?

  I don't know why the ToolTip does not appear, it contains instructions on how to do the clicks. Now try press the command key when you click on a link and see if it solves your problem.

• Site works in Adobe Lab IE browser, but not in IE 8

  I'm ready to bag this project together. My site works perfectly in FF and Safari. When I test with IE 7 and 8 in Adobe browser Lab, it seems.

  But when a friend who has windows open in IE 8, the formatting is shot.

  Without access to a PC and IE, it is futile to try to make the site restore successfully in all browsers?

  As suggested in my previous post for the menu bar in IE7 add the following to your stylesheet css:

• HOW CAN I GET A BROWSERLAB TO APPEAR IN "PREVIEW IN BROWSER"?

  I HAD TO REINSTALL DREAMWEAVER.  BROWSER LAB DISAPPEARED FROM THE OPTION "PREVIEW IN BROWSER". I HAVE RE DOWNLOADED EXTENSIONS PREFERENCE.  I CAN ACCESS THE SAFARI ADOBE BROWSER LAB, BUT NOT INSIDE DREAMWEAVER. SUGGESTIONS?

  Using Dreamweaver CS4 or CS5? If you're using CS5, please make sure that everything is up-to-date by going to help-> updates...

  Once you're sure you're all to date, I think you should see the preview in browser option. But if you haven't, you should be able to go to the window-> Extensions and select the Adobe BrowserLab option that should make the BrowserLab panel appear inside Dreamweaver. From there, you can choose the previews Local or network and click the Preview button to view your screenshots in BrowserLab.

• Appearance of the content in the browser vs. see Design

  Q: Please see picture attached. What is the appearance of the content seen in fashion for the Dreamweaver Design insofar as the added content is viewed in a browser?

  Well, it's certainly a beginner question, but unfortunately no one who seems to have been addressed in my tutorial book. Please note the image as an attachment. I have a div inside a container in which I wish to add some text content etc. In order to get the content to appear correctly where I want when displayed in a browser, I actually less frequently share mode creation of Dreamweaver. When I do, the lower limit of the Div (as seen in Design view... in yellow), seems to extend beyond the determine the dimensions of the div itself. However, as seen in the image on the right, that is exactly where it should be in the browser.

  (b) in the tutorial book, they often had me just paste in the preformatted content then apply styles CSS to it, and the result seemed to have the same spacing in DWvr as in the browser. It was just paragraph and header encoded, as my content will be. Why the difference in appearance, and how do I get my content to fit inside the div in the same location, as it then appears in the browser?

• Black Dreamweaver window

  Running Dreamweaver CS6 (Version 12, 5861 build) on my iMac, the pop-up window which is supposed to show the progress of the upload is often completely black. However, this does not affect the success of the download. Anyone had this happen? Have you found a solution?

• Where is the patch to activate CS5 to work on a Mac w / ElCapitan? Someone at - it a? You know, quit after opening, inability to update, issues that have been around for many years. I am a teacher and can NOT afford an upgrade. Help, please.

  CS5 is legacy software. He was never certified to run on El Capitan. It might work, but again, he could not.

  The last update for CS5 is released in 2011 in support of the browser lab.  But the lab browser servers have been offline in 2012. There are more.   For what it's worth, the link for updates can be found below, but I don't think it will be very useful for you.

• Help, I am unable to add my browsers

  I've been using Dreamweaver very well and managed to get an overview of my work in my browser using the preview icon. I had several options of the browser listed, then all of a sudden they disappeared.  Now, the only option to preview in Adobe browser lab. I went to the edit browser list to add them.

  I touched the sign +, choose Google Chrome (for example) and press the OK button - but then it does not appear in the box. Nothing happens. I also tried a few others. It is so basic, so I don't understand why it is not save option. I tried to restart my computer and enter and exit the application. Someone at - it any other ideas? Thank you!

  Removed all visible browsers preferences.

  Renamed the Dreamweaver folder located in the preferences under user fixed the question library.

• reliable screening sites between browsers?

  I use CS5 on a PC. The site looks good in IE, Device Central and mobile devices, I've tried.

  I've ever had IE installed on my 4 year old site, but I've updated the site a few months previously and on a whim I went to browsershots.org, to see what it looked like in other major browsers, and although he looked well in some of the screenshots, it looked crap in several others. I know that sceenshots are not a good barometer, so I started adding other browsers of DW. I downloaded Opera for beginners, but DW started acting weird so I uninstalled.

  I was wondering if there are any decent, reliable browser, testing sites.  It comes from the blog of the browser Lab in March of last year:

  I never tested with REAL browsers.  I don't trust screenshots because they take everything into account.  From my experience, if your site works in latest Chrome, FF, Opera, Safari, IE and mobile/tablet, you're probably good to go.

  Since MS is supported for XP disappeared as soon as this month, the number of users of pre - IE9 will drop significantly in the coming months.  So I do not wheel to support existing browsers unless my customer pays extra.

  It is up to you to decide if the extra effort needed to soothe any browsers is justified based on your particular public demographics.  From where I sit, it is not.  But your mileage may vary.

  A test server is not dependent on the browser.  It's something that you have configured locally on your hard drive (Wamp, Mamp, Xampp, etc...) mainly to preview PHP pages.  If you do not use scripts on the server to fill your pages side web, you don't need a test server to preview pages.

  If you have defined a Local test server in site management, it should work with any browser in your browser list.

  @marbella_mick - its unfortunate that the CC and CS5 do not work for you on the MAvericks. We encountered these problems earlier, albeit separately. Try the workarounds below

• I spoil my Web site?

  Hey all -

  I just recharged DW CS5 on my new computer, made some small changes to my existing Web site, deleted the old site and downloaded the new.  The only thing I changed was the copyright law (I know - I'm not supposed to put 2013 yet but I'm trying to get ahead of the game because we are so close to the end of the year) and a bit of info on the page of the book.

  I posted recently (after the new download) on my forum asked for the entry on the site hosting, and administrators said that he threw.  He said the margins on both sides are huge, the average grade is narrow and the links on the left are small path.   I asked the admin what browser he uses, but he has not yet responded.

  I could not understand how to add more browsers in DW.  I checked the help manual and everything he says it is "Select Edition-> Preferences-> then select the preview in the category browser on the left to select a browser."  It is not all browsers to choose so I tried Adobe browser lab.   I checked the site in Safari 5.1, IE 9.0 and Firefox 11.0.  Google chrome 18.0 load so I couldn't check the browser.  The other three look good.

  So my question is:

  I get something dirty when I downloaded the site updated?   How to watch it on the big screen?   If anyone has Google Chrome, I'd appreciate some feedback.   I know was going on long before that - well, maybe not artistically, but it is balanced on both sides.  I have a small screen (17 ''?) and it seems fine.  I can't watch a cached version, since this computer has a new installation of DW.

• IE 6 does not just

  Hello, I just made this direct site and thinking, everything was ok, but have tested in adobe browser lab and so not good and I don't know how to fix it.  If I fix it for internet explorer, it is not make properly in firefox and other browsers.

  On the home page h2 tags are a different font and size and the low point does not center around the page.

  On the links page the links do not line up under the h2 headings and there seems to be some odd letters above the links... God knows they came.

  For some reason, probably my internet connection... as I'm missing... Laboratory of browser will not load the rest of the pages on this site so I don't see what a mess they are in.

  If anyone can suggest solutions, I would be eternally grateful.  Thank you
