Brutally Long Export (first Pro CC - current as of 01/02/15)

Thanks for any help or ideas.

My system is an iMac i5 12 GB of RAM and the 512 MB of vRAM 6770M mid-2011.

I've been shooting matches of volleyball with a GoPro Hero 4 and imported directly from Premiere Pro.

Then I usually do a balance of whites using the fast color corrector, straighten, if necessary on the move and scale the image (up to 120% sometimes) - then I lay on an adjustment layer to correct the effects of GoPro fisheye.

My calendar is 100% red when I'm working (yellow on importation).

I'll edit the matches in 15-20 minutes of actual play, time, etc.

Everything is ok at this point.

Now - I'm trying to export (1080 p) for coaches and parents.  Last night, it took 6 hours (about 18 minutes) to generate a file of 2 GB HD of 18 minutes of play. This AM I played with different settings and don't see much difference in time, but very large differences in the size of the files, especially when I handled the target bit rate.

This seems long to me - and is undermining my enthusiasm for the video.

Previously, I had used a Canon (AVCHD) camcorder and imported into PP6 with excellent results.

Now my questions:

  • Where can I improve my workflow to reduce the time for export?
  • I am a hostage to my computer?
  • I don't think that I need to convert my GoPro cineform, but if only this will solve I will

If it has been answered before a pointer is appreciated - my research came the voids.

Thanks - jeff

Hi Jeff,

Now my questions:

  • Where can I improve my workflow to reduce the time for export?
  • I am a hostage to my computer?
  • I don't think that I need to convert my GoPro cineform, but if only this will solve I will

  • Export is mainly a CPU process based, so your i5 processor doesn't do you a favor.
  • If you do a scaling (or deinterlacing, evolution of fps, etc), a GPU that can use the Mercury Playback Engine GPU acceleration would help at the time of export. Your GPU doesn't have enough VRAM to GPU acceleration.
  • If you post to Vimeo or YouTube, you can see one of the presets

Hope that helps.

Thank you

Kevin

  • Loss of audio quality when exporting first pro

I have now had this happen with two different videos. I play the video in first pro and the sound is fine. I export video and lose the bulk of the quality of the audio. A project is a music session when I exported only get the main voice drums are not audible only a hum is done only if the bass drum usually would. On another project is a video thank you for a member of the family, and the sound is distorted after having been exported. The sound inside the session. Exported audio will be still work fine on my computer and my iphone 5S for as long as I'm wearing headphones, once I try to play the video through my iphone 5 s audio speakers is gone, noise as described above. My iphone can still play other tracks very well but the videos and audio exported from first Pro are distorted. Any advice on how I can export the video, so I won't lose the audio quality during playback of video on an iphone? I know this isn't my iphone speakers, they play other songs very well.

Yes the dialogue is 100% out of phase, so if it is played on any single device both channels will cancel each other. To fix it, in the first timeline all defective audio and add the fill left audio effect. Then you re-export.

  • Cannot export first Pro CC on Mac - system crashes at 55%

I have serious problems trying to export a file of 30 minutes.    This just started two days ago.  Before that, I had no problem.  I tried to re - export the file using different codecs, using the button export directly and also the queue button.  When I use the function Export Premiere Pro hangs at 55% - every time (see screenshots). The first .mov file that actually ended up exporting through the queue (encoder) had errors in the audio.  First also has crashed when I tried to re - make the sequence.

I tried these workaround solutions and then tried to export:

Uninstalled and reinstalled Premiere Pro - same question

Uninstalled and reinstalled Media Encoder (it said it installed but with errors of patch)-same question

Uninstalled all applications using Adobe and reinstalled creative cloud and Premiere Pro and Media Encoder apps - same question

Updated my OS to Capitan - same question

Freed space on my Mac drive, and both back up hard drives (have 1 TB now) - same question

Removed black video in the calendar located in this area of 55% and replaced by a black Uni .jpg file.  Put in/out in this segment and exported without any problem.  Tried to export the entire file, but it crashed to 55%.

Removed and re-imported, re-edited clips that are found in this general area where it crashes.  Output expected in this segment again and it has exported well.  Tried to export the entire file, but it crashed to 55%.

Well I think that I understand the question was...

After trying all the suggestions that still does not work, I went on the project settings and changed the video rendering and playback "software only".  This prompted me to delete all the old files preview which I think is what has been suspended until the export.  Anyway, I could FINALLY render and export the entire sequence.  YAY!  It was also before I updated to the 2015.3 comes out.

Thanks for your help and I hope this helps others avoid this problem in the future.

  • How to export first Pro cc to Apple Prores of PC windows

I can see the Quicktime setting but I can't seem to find the Prores codec.

    Can anyone offer a suggestion.

There is no option to export Prores on Windows PC.

Either transcode on a Mac or relevant software purchase for PC (google search).

  • Trying to export to MP4 but first pro takes to long.

I try first pro for the first time. I need to be able to export the video to MP4. exporting the video finally but takes too much time. about 15 minutes to export a 13 minute video. each export starts just fine until the file reaches 100% then it is only here for a long time before finally to complete the export. is it because of my computer? Using a windows 7 with a intel core i5-3350 cpu @ 3.10 ghz, ram 64 bit OS 8.g. and a nividia graphics card

Your hard drive questions helped me to find the problem. the video files are stored on network drives that I have to connect to. I started to export to my desktop and the problem was solved. Thank you for your help...

  • First Pro/SOUL fails to export the sequence containing the reverse clip

When I try to export a sequence that contains an element for which I reversed the speed, sequence are not exported. (I had a similar problem with just coating the sequence, but if I turn the GPU acceleration in the project settings and use "software only" it will make.) This happens with files of GH4 and Phantom 3 Pro (the cameras only I currently use). I can watch the progress of the export, and it always chokes on the clip in the position reversed. If I have "non-reversed" clips and play normally, everything works fine.

The clips are 4K in a calendar of 1080 p. Nesting does not help.

I export using the 1080 p YouTube preset.

Under first Pro CC 2015.2 Windows 10 Pro with a GeForce GTX 970.

Any thoughts on how I can actually reverse an element and be able to use it in the sequence? It's really frustrating, and I continue to meet him on multiple projects.

    Thank you

Right-click on the suspicious item on the timeline and in the menu drop-down, choose replace and made...

    try again your export.

  • How do you export a first pro CC project directly on the disc DVD-R to the point Windows 8.1

I was helping a friend to produce a video for his mother's funeral using the trial version of first Pro CC.  I want to export it directly to DVD disc, in media encode I choose disc DVD-R to exit and enter a name for the file. I would then export, but it won't burn it directly to disk in a temporary burn folder, I can drag the created file in the drive before it will burn.  I would like to be recognized as a DVD drive and not a data disc.  Can someone advise me please how to do it please that the funeral is at 14:00 today and he currently 4.16 am. I was watching the video tutorials and I'm frustrated.

Sorry, but you cannot author a dvd-video with the trialversion. You must still CS6 which has no trial.

Maybe its possible with first elements 13 of the trial, he build a dvd program.

  • First Pro CC (v7.2.1) crashing whenever I try to export

I tried to export a sequence on first Pro CC (version 7.2.1) in edit mode: Canon XF MPEG2 720 p, but I get a message that says "sorry, a serious error has occurred which requires Adobe Premiere Pro to stop. We will try to save your current project.

I use an iMac to one-day-old on OS X (version 10.9) with 2.9 GHz processor Intel Core i5 and 16 GB of memory, so I don't think that the computer is the question.

I tried to restart the two first and my computer 15 - 20 times with no success. I also tried to send the project to another computer to export (as a .mov), but I received a prompt saying: "the project appears to be damaged. It cannot be opened. »

Rendering bar is yellow, and I tried to find a way to turn green without a bit of luck. I tried to download the patch on the Adobe site and I searched the forums for similar problems, but I have not found a way to make it work again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Britton

I am pleased to announce that a completely clean reinstall Premiere Pro seems to solve the problem. Just running a test export now.

Thanks for your help, much appreciated!

  • Several video tracks slow time of export in first pro?

I work on a dslr shot the video.  The full video is 7 minutes, but when I export the video, it takes an excessively long time.

The first minute is only a simple video track layer and rendering of export moves at a normal pace.

But at 30%, its took about half and hour to increase by 1%!   I think it's because it probably where I have multiple video track stacked each other (b-roll).

Follow the guys always cut the video base on top of which is b-roll to make a single layer video?

Several video tracks slow time of export in first pro?

How can I optimize the speed of rendering of export?

    HP 510 t

    Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 bit

    12 GB of Ram

    I7 2600 CPU @3.4 GHz

    ATI Radeon HD 5570

The only way that more tracks could slow if export is that you can see all of these tracks on the screen, as the picture in the picture.  If you can't see the top layer follow, then simply have the video under which will have no effect at the time of export.

Effects and others can slow things down.

  • I can only export in flash player, flash professional and first pro

    Hello

I just got the CS5 production of the DVD. I installed on my macbook pro OS x 10.6.8 only AE.

When I go to export my project/publication, I have only 3 options, I can export only in flash player, flash professional and first pro.

Where are the options to export a quicktime movie and all the others?

Do I have to install the entire suite for these options appear?

    If so, why?

    Thank you

    Jason

    Render queue.

More importantly, for the new insiders, some time spent here would go a long way.

  • First Pro exports only my audio, not the video

I'm a beginner to this program, so please bear with me.  I'm in first Pro CC (2015.3) v 10.3, blue Fox on a PC with Windows 7 Pro. The Media Encoder is also Media Encoder CC (2015.3). When I queue to export the Audio/video file, I chose H.264 and AAC Audio.  The video and audio of boxes are ticked for export.  I have the game - high-speed selected Source and preset of Facebook.  Is the screenshot after I encoded the file, but I am able to see the process of Audio and video, while it exports the file.

Here is the screenshot of my Premier Pro screen. I had created a couple of these slide shows before and everything worked very well.  Now for some reason, there is only Audio now.  I tried it with two series of photographs with the same results.

Any help is appreciated and I apologize if this is a repeat problem, but I don't see anything that fits my situation specifically.

When you are working in a new project (or new sequence) and you add the first piece of media in your timeline (sequence), if the media card to match the settings of the sequence, it will ask you "Do you want to change the sequence to match the media" and you have done this, no other way to get an image size of 4608 x 3456, which is not equal to any standard video format. Is also 4:3 and not 16:9 for the video output screen. So unfortunately, if the configuration of the sequence is bad at first, your project is built on a poor Foundation that will cause problems later when you try to export to a standard format.

If you want to put the video on Facebook, that would be 1920 x 1080 or 1280 x 720 for instance (1080 p or 720 p). Your sequence should be created accordingly before adding any media. In Prefs or sequence by sequence, you can use the size value of the frame to have the media scale in sequence (photos/video will scale to fit the image).

Try changing the size of the image in your sequence up to 1920 x 1080 settings. You may need to click on the pictures and also the value size of the frame.

EDIT: also change the audio sample rate of 32000 to 48000 which is more standard and superior

EDIT 2: If you put 4:3 pictures in a 16:9 frame, yes you get black bars on the sides. As the top and bottom of the pictures of the boat may be just the water and the sky in any case, you can change the image until it fits left to right, cropping the top and bottom which you can't miss anyway. Can also set vertically then necessary. Use the Adobe movement controls for these actions, found in the effect controls panel.

  • If I started a project in first Cs5 and want to finish it in first Pro CC it causes problems exporting my sequence and get into the new software?

If I started a project in first Cs5 and want to finish it in first Pro CC it causes problems exporting my sequence and get into the new software?

Better is to import the cs5 project in the new project of CC.

And Yes this could have problems, he could not.

I would have ended up in CS5. Export to the lossless format and encode with SOUL CC until the final destination.
