Run these two tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem. Launch auditor. You don't need to run memtest again unless the auditor is not the cause, or you want to.
2-Memtest. (You can learn more about running memtest here)

How to repair BSOD bccode 116 after the recent windows 7 updates this week
Hello
This is my first time to ask your question here, please be patient if I make a mistake in the Protocol.
After that massive Windows Update this week, my laptop Acer AO725 has had trouble waking mode standby, often gives me an error BSOD (bccode 116). I read through other entries of forum on issues with video drivers, but it just got a common question after updates. I have installed a new material during this time, and the only new software that I installed was a registry cleaner today after several days of this problem to happen.
May updates caused the problem and if so, how should I do? Does anyone have any troubleshooting tips? It is very annoying to deal with and hope that there is a solution that is not very difficult. Here are the stats from my system and 2 on bccode 116 recent error messages.
Thanks in advance for any help or suggestion,
Nathan Ellingwood

OK two things, first off I just is down to the phone with Alienware support and solved the problem (or so it seems for now barely made this 45 minutes ago) and explain the solution in a minute.
-I was not overclocking. I just received my office yesterday and had no time to mess with that yet.
-J' was started in safe mode and uninstalled the graphics driver and reinstalled. has restarted hollow all my system event records and found the newspaper which says that have been forced.
Finally, I called Alienware from Dell support. Talked to a tech and it was a simple as a switch setting in my BIOS.
I have an Alienware Aurora R4:
-FIX - restart your computer, press F2 to enter the settings. Go to the "Advanced" tab and select "Integrated peripherals" there is something in the sense of "3gen' with the graphics (don't remember what this option was exactly) but that disable.
as simple as that.

Code error 0x00000005 for windows 7 Professional 64-bit
I tried to download a program form a DVD and get the message 0 x 00000005 error said he did not run the program on the cd/dvd-rom or other removable media? I could not also download updated program Sony... a box pops up saying the target could not be found? Any ideas to fix this?
Hello Aj432,
More than suggests Fouzan, you could try and see if you can download your software then right click and select 'run as administrator '.
Is the program that you try to install compatible with Windows 7?You can click here to see the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.
If the software is not compatible, try and run in Compatibility Mode.
If the program is not compatible, then you try to install and run the program in compatibility mode.
Use the following steps:
(1) right click on the program
2) click Properties
3) click on the Compatibility tab
(4) select run this program in compatibility mode and select Windows Vista or other operating system, the program has been run successfully.
Check out the link here: make sure to run older programs in this version of Windows
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/make-older-programs-run-in-this-version-of-Windows
If compatibility is not successful, then try and self-test program compatibility issues:
1. open the program compatibility problems theStart button.
Then click on Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooting tool, then clickTroubleshooting. Under programs, clickRun done for previous versions of Windows.
2. follow the instructions in the troubleshooting.
If you are unable to install a program, insert the installation disc for the program and, using the Troubleshoot utility, navigate to the program setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. This utility is not designed to work on programs that have an .msi file name extension.
If you are running Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate version, install Windows Virtual PC and Windows XP mode (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/virtual-pc/default.aspx) and run your software in Windows XP.
If you run Windows 7 Home Premium, try VirtualBox (www.virtualbox.org) or VMware Player (www.vmware.com), or any other software virtualization part 3rd and install a separate copy of Windows XP (family or professional edition) for this purpose. You can find the virtualization software free that will run on Windows 7 Home Premium.
I hope this helps with your question.
If this isn't the case, answer and let us know.Sincerely,
Marilyn

Hi all. I have a computer dell laptop, inspiron e1505. 2 days ago, he did a system update and then restarts are not at all. If I start windows normally or start with the last known good configuration I get the BSOD and stop error codes, 0x0000007e, 0 x 80000003, 0x805c370c, 0xf79e02b4, 0xf79dffb0.
If I try to any safe mode, it begins to go through a list of drivers then stops briefly and goes to a blue screen Uni with no writing at all. It's beyond what I know how to fix. Thanks for your timeKb971486 uninstalled by using the recovery console, works again.

just as likely to be the root cause that they can force a driver to corrupt or go out of bounds.

Control bug IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x0000000A value a. This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a driver in mode accessed kernel memory paged at DISPATCH_LEVEL level or above.
Important info if you received a STOP Code
If you received a blue error screen, or a stop code, the computer stopped abruptly to protect against data loss. A hardware device, its driver or software might have caused this error. If your copy of Windows is shipped with your computer, contact your computer manufacturer. If you purchased Windows separately from your computer, Microsoft provides support. To find contact information for Microsoft or the manufacturer of your computer, Contact Support.
If you have experience with computers and try to recover from this error, follow the steps in the Microsoft article solution STOP (blue screen) errors in Windows.
These actions could prevent a mistake like this does not happen:
- Download and install updates for your computer from Windows Update device drivers.
- Scan your computer for computer viruses.
- Check your hard drive for errors.
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL parameters
The following settings are displayed on the blue screen.
Parameter Description 1

2
IRQL at time of reference
3

1: write
4
Memory address
Cause
This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.
The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.
If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.
Resolution
If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace.
To resolve an error caused by the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS
Restart your computer.
Press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system.
In the Windows Advanced Options menu, select last known good Configuration . This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.
To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool
Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.
Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.
Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.
Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.
If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.
For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.

For the last two months I get random blue screen of death, codes seem to change from time to time, initially it was level IRQL each time and then one or twice USB bug and then error code once, it was an error of memory management code. Sometimes I get a screen saying something about checking some recently installed device causing problem, but nothing has been installed recently.
I have and HP Windows Vista Home Premium SP2, AMD athlon 64 X 2 Dual core 5000 + 2.60 GHz memory is 3.0 GB; system is 32-bit graphics card is NVIDA
The BSOD happens randomly and it can happen just when I turn on pc (so I don't think overheating is the question) or pc will be fine for a day or two and hang after that pc sat for an hour. PC GOLD may be on all day and is very good. I tried to run the "controls" and everything keeps the fine. I even thought it may have been my antivirus so I changed it and still doesn't solve problem. I ran checks software malware, viruses, etc. and have not led to what.
It seems that after some update was made with windows was when I started to have problems, but could be a coincidence. I looked around but have not found anyone with a similar problem like mine, in regards to get multiple error codes and bsod. To restart, I usually have to unplug the pc and wait a bit to try to restart and go through all process control but all "passes". Thanks in advance for your help.
Hi kcsun,
Blue screen errors can be caused by either a software or hardware problem.

Stop Windows 7 BSOD 0x0000000A code
Hello
I started having BSOD in my two year, Windows 7 Home Premium edition desktop PC on 08/12/15 after an automatic update of Windows and then get their most frequently every day since. The minidump lists always stop Code A to NTOSKRNL.exe + 73c40 as the offending code. What I've tried so far:
- BlueScreenView installed
- Opened the case and clear any dust of fittings of air circulation where it could have been due to overheating
- A ran Memtest86 for 10 assists without reported errors (8G of RAM)
- A ran chkdsk with no error reported.
- Tried to manually run Windows Update - get BSOD Stop Code 50
- Tried running a full virus scan - get BSOD
- Uninstalled SuperAntiSpyware and Avast, install MSE - produced complete sweep of the BSOD
- Run the full scan MSE properly in Mode safe
- Using Device Manager, try to update the drivers one by one in Safe Mode. Among those that I tried, most respond that the existing driver is up-to-date. The ATI/AMD video driver did however update. However, as soon as I press the mouse in Normal mode, he returned BSOD.
I'm not a gamer nor I am overclocking (whatever it is) anything. I would like to believe that my BSOD is related to the software, but am now short of ideas on how to proceed.
The only two actions absolutely will be 100% of the time product Code A BSOD Stop are: 1) try any virus (quick or full) of any of the three scanners scan I tried - get the BSOD in a minute; and (2) try a Windows Update - produced the BSOD once I select an update to download and install. Otherwise, they seem to appear randomly in about 5 minutes after the start.
I think my next steps are:
- Restore the PC to a restore before the 08/12/15 point (but then how I never go forward again?)
- Try the driver verifier (although the debate surrounding this step sounds scary)
- Repair Windows from the CD (although if it is a non-Windows, the origin of the problem driver, how can he help?)
- Re-install Windows on a hard drive clean (a lot of work to reload everything)
- Buying a new PC (groan)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello
We can successfully close this thread. The source of my BSOD has proved to be the four old vestige McAfee drivers. My Dell PC of 2012 has been preloaded with McAfee and I must not have successfully uninstalled three years ago. For anyone else who may be looking for a BSOD from 0 to stop Code referencing NTOSKRNL.exe + 73c40, the key for me was to find a file to mcafee under c:\program files\common files and also several pilot named MFExxxx.sys in the folder c:\windows\system32\drivers. When I ran check, he scored these MFE drivers as being loaded. I don't know exactly how and why they were active in my PC. Maybe a registry key to load. Since McAfee is not listed as a product registered in my PC, they have not updated successfully since installation in 2012. They were apparently benign drivers for the last 3 years until 08/12/15 Windows Update which turned them into little evil monsters. To remove all the remains of McAfee, search for "Tool McAfee Consumer Product Removal" in your favorite browser. Download and run the latest version of MCPR.exe to purge your system. No BSOD more.

Hello
What is the code exact error you get?
Temporarily disable all security software and check if it helps.
NOTE: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you should not disable your antivirus
software. If you do not disable temporarily to install other software, you must reactivate as soon as you are finished. If you are connected to the Internet
or a network during the time that your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks. Also check the updates failed and see if there are error messages in Windows Update.
1. open Windows Update.
2. click view update history. You can also try to download and install the updates manually.
Make sure that the following services are started:
· Background Intelligent Transfer Service
· Cryptographic services
· Windows UpdateFollow these steps:
1. go to start and type services.msc and press to enter.
2. from the list of services, search for the above mentioned services and see if they are started and set to automatic.
3. If they are arrested, then right-click on the service and select start to start the service.Kind regards
