Drivers could be at fault, however the problems of disk or security/antivirus/antispyware products are
just as likely to be the root cause that they can force a driver to corrupt or go out of bounds.
The video driver or something affecting it would be questionable.

Make sure that the drivers, BIOS and chipset of low-level drivers are all updated by checking manually
system manufacturer and device manufacturers sites.

Below I'll post a generic bluescreen convenience store and in the next message how to upgrade
drivers and BIOS as well as controls memory.

-----------------------------------

BCCode: 0a 0x0000000A

Bug Check 0xA: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Control bug IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x0000000A value a. This indicates that Microsoft Windows or a driver in mode accessed kernel memory paged at DISPATCH_LEVEL level or above.

Important info if you received a STOP Code

If you received a blue error screen, or a stop code, the computer stopped abruptly to protect against data loss. A hardware device, its driver or software might have caused this error. If your copy of Windows is shipped with your computer, contact your computer manufacturer. If you purchased Windows separately from your computer, Microsoft provides support. To find contact information for Microsoft or the manufacturer of your computer, Contact Support.

If you have experience with computers and try to recover from this error, follow the steps in the Microsoft article solution STOP (blue screen) errors in Windows.

These actions could prevent a mistake like this does not happen:

  1. Download and install updates for your computer from Windows Update device drivers.
  2. Scan your computer for computer viruses.
  3. Check your hard drive for errors.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL parameters

The following settings are displayed on the blue screen.

Parameter Description

1

Memory referenced

2

IRQL at time of reference

3

0: read

1: write

4

Memory address

Cause

This bug check is issued if the memory paged (or invalid) is accessible when the IRQL is too high.

The error that usually generates this bug check occurs after the installation of the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS.

If you encounter a bug 0xA control during the upgrade to a later version of Windows, this error can be caused by a device driver, system service, an anti-virus or a backup tool that is not compatible with the new version.

Resolution

If a kernel debugger is available, get a stack trace.

To resolve an error caused by the faulty device driver or service system, BIOS

  1. Restart your computer.

  2. Press F8 to character-based menu that displays the choice of operating system.

  3. In the Windows Advanced Options menu, select last known good Configuration . This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.

To resolve an error caused by an incompatible device driver, system service, virus scanner, or backup tool

  1. Check the system log in Event Viewer for error messages that may identify the device or driver that caused the error.

  2. Try disabling the cache in memory of the BIOS.

  3. Run the diagnostics of equipment provided by the manufacturer of the system, in particular the scanner memory. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

  4. Make sure that the latest Service Pack is installed.

  5. If your system has cards (SCSI) small computer system interface, contact the card manufacturer for updated Windows drivers. Try to disable sync negotiation in the SCSI BIOS, check the wiring and the SCSI ID of each device and confirming the proper termination.

  • For devices (IDE) peripheral electronic integrated, set the built-in as only primary IDE port. Also, check each IDE device to the right setting master/slave/stand alone. Try to remove all IDE devices except for the hard drives.

  • If the message appears during installation of Windows, make sure that the computer and installed devices are compatible with the version of Windows being installed. For example, you can get information about compatibility with Windows 7 in the Windows 7 Compatibility Center.

    • How to repair BSOD bccode 116 after the recent windows 7 updates this week

      Hello

This is my first time to ask your question here, please be patient if I make a mistake in the Protocol.
After that massive Windows Update this week, my laptop Acer AO725 has had trouble waking mode standby, often gives me an error BSOD (bccode 116). I read through other entries of forum on issues with video drivers, but it just got a common question after updates. I have installed a new material during this time, and the only new software that I installed was a registry cleaner today after several days of this problem to happen.
May updates caused the problem and if so, how should I do? Does anyone have any troubleshooting tips? It is very annoying to deal with and hope that there is a solution that is not very difficult.

Here are the stats from my system and 2 on bccode 116 recent error messages.

OK two things, first off I just is down to the phone with Alienware support and solved the problem (or so it seems for now barely made this 45 minutes ago) and explain the solution in a minute.

-I was not overclocking. I just received my office yesterday and had no time to mess with that yet.

-J' was started in safe mode and uninstalled the graphics driver and reinstalled. has restarted hollow all my system event records and found the newspaper which says that have been forced.

Finally, I called Alienware from Dell support. Talked to a tech and it was a simple as a switch setting in my BIOS.

I have an Alienware Aurora R4:

-FIX - restart your computer, press F2 to enter the settings. Go to the "Advanced" tab and select "Integrated peripherals" there is something in the sense of "3gen' with the graphics (don't remember what this option was exactly) but that disable.

      as simple as that.

    • Satellite A500-19w - BSOD BCCode 9 - BAD_POOL_HEADER

      Hey everybody

About 2 weeks ago, I bought a Toshiba Satellite A500-19w. Have been crackling sounds from the speakers, but also error blue screen & restart.
So I decided that I wanted a refund because it was out of the question for me to keep a laptop that has been hurt since the first day.

The Bank refused to give me my money back, instead they gave me a new laptop (the same Satellite A500-19w).

Now, I have the same exact problems, but since I will not get my money, I'm stuck with it.
I've had the laptop for 3 days now, and only today I had 4 blue screen errors (the last 3 times, after windows restarted, I don't even have a log of the error so that I could post it here).

But from what I remember, it was a BCCode 19, & during the last blue screen that I had, I saw "BAD_POOL_HEADER".
I was going through the forums desperately try to find a solution, but have not found anything so far.
I don't know what the problem is, I really need help.

My OS is a Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium.
      (All A500-19w normal sheet example 1 g Ram, 230 M nVIDIA VGA...).

      I really really need help.
I have a lot of work to do and this laptop is the only tool I have.
I don't have access to other computers.

      Help, please.

And one more thing, service of Toshiba Tempro advised me a new update of the BIOS, but when I tried to get it, he told me that ' you seem to have the same version or newer "or something like that & the update did not work.
Yet once, please, I'm desperate for help.

      Thank you.

      Hello

I think the problem is software partner.
The google provides many successes on the BSOD BCCode 19 and the BAD_POOL_HEADER

Unfortunately, it is not easy to say which application or a driver could cause this because its always a different software...

But you can check the minidump file to obtain more details on the error...

Here is a document of Microsoft Knowledge on how to play files of dump Windows creates the memory.
      http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/315263

It should help to find the source of the BSOD

These accidents were related to the corruption of memory (probably caused by a driver).

Run these two tests to check your memory and find which driver is causing the problem.  Launch auditor.  You don't need to run memtest again unless the auditor is not the cause, or you want to.

If you are overclocking anything reset by default before running these tests.
In other words STOP! If you don't know what it means that you're probably not

    • What is the origin of Windows 7 BSOD BCCode: 124

      Hello

I'm trying to understand what is the source of my BSOD. I had this problem for several weeks. It not always plant, but when that happens, it's usually after I shot recently on my computer. It shows the Blue error screen stop, try to restart it, shows a page of quick bios that is not the same one that shows at startup and then stops again. If I hit the power button it will usually be back on and start working a little bit. I've had the computer for about 2 years. I have the specs and details of the error below.

Please let me know if I can post anything that might help.

      Thanks for your help!

This is called BCC124 and is linked to the material.  Since Genuine Intel is referenced, I'd start by running a cpu stress test

Try this free stress test: http://www.mersenne.org/freesoft/

      Prime95 Setup program;
-Extract the contents of the zip file into a directory of your choice
      -Double-click on the executable file
      -Select "all stress testing.
-Select the test of 'Blend '.  If you have already run MemTest overnight, you can run the test of "Small FFFS" instead.
"Number of threads of torture test run" must equal the number of processors multiplied by 2 (if you use hyperthreading).
The best way to do this is to go to the Manager of the tasks of the figure... The performance tab - and see the number of boxes that appear under the CPU usage history
Then run the test of 6 to 24 hours - or until you get errors [b](whichever comes first)
The selection of Test and the file stress.txt box describes the components that insists on the program.

      Stop 0 x 124 is a hardware error

If you are overclocking try to reset your settings to standard processor and see if that helps.

If you keep getting the BSOD here are things more than you may want.
This is usually hardware related, defective heat, memory or processor even if it is "possible" he is associated (rare) driver.

Stop 0 x 124 - what it means and what to try

      Synopsis:
A "stop 0 x 124" is fundamentally different from many other types of bluescreens because it arises from a complaint of material.
Stop 0 x 124 minidumps contain very little concrete information, and it is therefore necessary to address the problem as a case of material in an unknown state of distress.

      Generic troubleshooting ' Stop 0 x 124 ":

      1) to ensure that none of the hardware components are overclocked. Material which is pushed beyond its design specifications - by overclocking - may malfunction in unpredictable ways.
      (2) ensure that the machine is sufficiently cooled.
If there is doubt, open the side of the case (be aware of all the relevant conditions guaranteed!) PC and direct an electric fan squarely to the motherboard. Who will rule on most cooling problems (lack of).
      3) update all drivers related to materials: video, sound, RAID (if applicable), NIC... anything that interacts with a piece of hardware.
It is best to run the latest drivers anyway.
      (4) update the BIOS of your motherboard according to the manufacturer's instructions and clear CMOS.

Their website should provide detailed instructions on the brand and model-specific procedure.
      (5) rarely, bugs in the operating system may cause "false positives" 0 x 124 events where the hardware wasn't complaining, but Windows thought otherwise (because of the bug).
At the time of writing, Windows 7 does not have to suffer from a defect, but it is nevertheless important to keep Windows up-to-date.
      6) trying (stress) test these hardware components that can be put to the test artificially.
The most obvious examples are the RAM and HDD (s).
For the RAM, use the 3 rd-party memtest86 utility to run several hours a test value. (6-8 passes to stress the ram)
For hard drives, verify if CHKDSK /R finds any problems on (s), including "bad sectors".
Unreliable RAM, in particular, is mortal, as well as software, and anything other than a 100% clear memory test result is cause for concern. Unfortunately, even a 100% clear result the diagnostic utilities does not guarantee that the RAM is free of any defect - only that none have been encountered during the test passes.
      7) as the last of the non-invasive troubleshooting steps, perform a "Vanilla" Windows reinstallation: just the OS itself without additional applications, games, utilities, updates, new drivers - or ANYTHING that does not come from the Windows 7 disc.
Who stops working mitigate the problem of the 0 x 124, jump to the next step.
If you run the "Vanilla" installation long enough to convince yourself that not a single 0 x 124 accident occurred, start installing applications and updates slowly, always stopping between successive additions long enough to get an idea of the question if the machine is still free of 0 x 124 breaks down.
Smash back, obviously the latest addition of software may be somehow connected to the root cause.
If the stop error 0 x 124 persist despite the above steps, and the equipment is under warranty, consider to go back and ask for a replacement that does not suffer periodic MCE events.
Be aware that want to perform the subsequent hardware troubleshooting steps can, in some cases, void your warranty:
      (8) clean and carefully remove the dust inside the machine.
Reinstall all memory modules and connectors.
Use a can of compressed air to clean the RAM DIMM supports as much as possible.
      (9) If all else fails, start removing items of hardware one by one in the hope that the culprit is something non-essential that can be eliminated.
Obviously, this type of testing is much easier if you have access to equivalent components in order to perform swaps.

If you are in the situation to have completed all the steps above without a resolution of the symptom, unfortunately the most likely reason is that the error message is literally correct - something is fundamentally wrong with the hardware of the machine.

    • BSOD BCCode 116 - generated after installing updated drivers for ATI Mobility Radeon HD display drivers for HP Probook 4520 s 5470

I continue to work through issues with my HP Probook 4520 that is now almost 4 years with the same problem of a frozen screen.

Today, I decided to work in seeing if there was new ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 available display drivers.

I have the version of 15/03/2011 of the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470.  With that came the AMD Catalyst install Manager Version 3.00.0868

      .

During his visit the HP site I saw that they had a newer version available on the graphics card available with the date of April 30, 2011 and the download file has been identified as sp52818.exe for the Version of the graphics driver to download 8.743.2-- 110315 5A - 115833C.

In light of the penalty, that I got with my graphic display driver 15/03/2011, I decided to uninstall the drivers of my 15/03/2011 and download the drivers of 30/05/2011.

Doing this has my computer I notified that I already have the sp52818.exe file and so I was a little confused, but I allowed him to install over my existing file.

To install the file sp52818.exe successfully, I went to work.  Then after some time (within an hour), I got a message generated by computer at the bottom right of my screen saying a newer version of my graphics card was available at www.amd.com .

(first thought was - why HP had it?)

In any case... I decided to click on the suggestion box, visit www.amd.com and see what they had.  I was directed to install a driver to automatically detect the utility, and during the installation, the utility's suggestion came back that my computer can access a new graphic display driver.  I thought it was nice and so I then proceeded to of course download the .exe file for my HP probook 4520 s.  The proposed file was qualified: 13-12_mobility_win7_win8_64_dcl_ccc_whql_exe (graphic display for the ATI Radeon HD 5470 by suggestion of AMD driver.)

Everything goes well.  It starts to download the Catalyst install Manager Version 08.00.0915, then the ATI display drivers with > .NET Framework 4.5 (I'm just observing things that are facts).  Several times the black screen comes on, but that is to be expected.  I wait patiently, and finally I see the green bar of progress.  Just as the green bars come in the end, the screen goes black again for about 1 to 2 minutes.  Then suddenly the dreaded BSOD Blue Screen of Death comes with an error message saying that something has gone wrong and closing of windows, and he mentions something about Windows display drivers.  I'm not panicking yet, but is offered the possibility of recovering and I let the computer pick up normally, and I return to the screen of welcome with happiness and connect to.

From the entrance, the first thing I see is a Windows Error Message, I opened and saved and here provide for our education and research.

I'm not able to open the .dmp file to display as the file associations cannot establish a connection, and I am unable to find the AppData file under users.  Windows 7, it is extremely difficult find the files suggested by error messages.

I would like to know why the BSOD appeared, then please explain the error message that came as I was trying to install a driver recommended for my computer using download driver acceptable practices, causing me concern and frustration, as well as the 4 years of intermittent to faithfully display failure.  I'm not sending the machine backwards.  There must be a solution.

(Rabbit Trail - the suggestion to display the privacy statement is also an attempt to distract people to get a real fix and do believe that Windows 'help' you who isn't.)

The laptop is running and I can see things on the screen.  It seems OK, but I'm going to face other issues?

You are right that the accident may have been caused by the newly installed ATI driver. I checked on the HP Site and there is a version of the same display offered with the same output driver date on the ATI site, so the difference may be that the version of HP's specific system, while the ATI Version is just generic, so my suggestion would be to uninstall the ATI Version and replace it with the HP driver.

Since Vista, the components of "Timeout detection and recovery" (TDR) of the subsystem video OS have been able to do some really impressive things to try to find issues that would have led to the earlier OS like XP to crash.

As a last resort, the TDR subsystem sends a video driver command "Please restart you now!" and wait a few seconds.

If there is no answer, the BONE concludes that the combo of driver/hardware video has really collapsed in a heap, and it fires at this stop 0 x 116 BSOD.

I live across the computer shop where I bought a year ago, so I took on the whole, they made a check of PC and can't find anything wrong with it, the only way they could get the operating system working again was to disable the drivers for the graphics card, but also had to disable windows update to prevent it from updating the drivers.

Once the update was installed, the blue screen of death appeared again. Then I took at home so that it operated worked OK less pilots and removed the small amount of info on a memory stick, as they have advised me to do a reinstall of the software. After what same error screen appeared.
Then I connected an external hard drive made a recovery disk made the full restore, thought he had worked as the Welcome screen Toshiba confirmed few details clicked the name of the computer, etc. on finish began to load windows.

Then the same message high again its ugly head. I took it in my friends in the computer store, they have tried the same thing as me with the same result. Anyone have any ideas on how I could resolve the situation.

Hmm. Entendez_ you the new recover system solve your problem and the BSOD appeared again?
Well, sounds like a hardware problem
I think in the first step, modules memory must be checked, that it is the first part of the hardware that may be causing the BSOD.

    • HP Pavilion 1d45dx g6: Pavilion G6: error BSOD in Windows 10

Once I upgraded my laptop 10 (64-bit) Windows whenever I would put my laptop to sleep or close the lid and come back, she would but immediately frozen and he would not answer. After a few seconds a blue screen of death with a frowny face would jump to the top. It usually gives me the error code: UNEXPECTED_STORE_EXCEPTION

Then when I'd start my laptop to be out some time, it will give me a BSOD right at the beginning and it would have a CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED error code

Is anyway to fix this? I am very fun that may have windows 10 on my laptop. Given the amount of BSOD I had, I went back to Windows 7 until a solution can be found.

Sidenote: I also had a similar problem with windows 8, he did exactly the same thing, just like Windows 10. He gave me a different error code: KERNAL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR.  I went back to Windows 7 on this situation as well.

Any help to solve this would be awesome! Thanks in advance.

      This is a big update!

I managed to get my old G6-1c43nr works well on Windows 10 using this meathod! (Please note that not all of the G6 can use this meathod and you must proceed at your own discression!)

      Measures to address this error:

      1. download BIOS revision F.46 (probably you have F.48 or F.49) if available for your laptop (go to Windows 7 drivers > BIOS > Previous Versions).

      2. install the older BIOS

3 after installing the old BIOS, your laptop most likely does not completely start, he should give a BSOD and reboot, let him do this twice and the third time, should it try to perform a repair of starting WHAT IT WILL (AND SHOULD) FAIL!

      4. after the start of the repair fails, click on 'Advanced Options '.

      5. click on help > advanced options > start parameters

      6. click on restart

      7. When you see the boot settings screen, press '4' on your keyboard

      8. you will then start in safe mode, do not connect to your computer when it is presented with the login screen, simply press Power > restart

      9. you should be able to start completely Windows now

      10. put the computer to sleep and then wake it up, it should now fully work!

The problem was that the most recent BIOS breaks the way Windows 8/10 read the configuration of SATA and decommissioning of the BIOS fix it.

      Enjoy!

      Hello!

On your BSOD, you can search the Knowledge Base Microsoft for this question. You can find good descriptions how to solve problems.
I searched for you and founded this interesting link:
      http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/314063/

As for the other problems I can say not easy to understand because s he s is not English but I think that the reason for this is the BSOD so try to solve this first.

      Good bye

    • W3 - 810 driver Power State failure error (BSOD)

I have a W3-810 Iconia I've upgraded to Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. During a recent update to the 2016 office, I had a blue screen and an error message that a failure of State driver had taken place and the computer needed to restart. After a few moments, the computer restarted and I was able to complete the installation of Office 2016. I remember getting this error during upgrade to Windows 10. Recently, while watching a YouTube video, the Tablet locked up and I got the blue screen again, with the same "Driver Power State Failure" error again. I check the Device Manager and noticed that in the "system devices" all of the "Intel platform dynamics and thermal framework (DPTF)" associates pilots had yellow flags indicating that the drivers did not work properly. When I tried to update the drivers I get a message that the latest drivers are installed.

Someone at - it recommendations to solve this problem? Should I uninstalled all the drivers DPTF and reinstall? Thank you.

Update: I drove all DPTF drivers in back to version 6.2.9200.30457 Device Manager and then restarted the computer. I tested the computer to see if I could cause a BSOD pilot State failure occurred earlier today and it does not happen again. I hope that this solves the problem. Thank you.
