Thanks in advance.

The most recent dump file does not appear to be check enabled.  That you got when you ran check/query?

It appears that this accident was linked to pcdrcui. exe is part of Dell's Support Center.  I remove it or re - install.

I received these blockages of the system for a short while now. They occur generally when I leave my laptop on standby for 2 days without the ' down (not sure if this has to do with the problem), and when I opened the laptop I get SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (ndis.sys). What could cause this problem because I am afraid that it will continue to occur more frequently, until now, has happened only 5 times during the month. Thank you in advance!

  • Driver_Power_State_Failure BSoD and ndis.sys

I know there are many of these failures BSOD posted, but I can't seem to find a solution. BlueScreenView said that this Driver_Power_State_Failure is associated with ndis.sys and ntoskrnl.exe. I put the dump herefile. Any thoughts would be great. I got this crash (twice now) on a computer for deployment on the ground at the edge of a river and is connected to a camera that records continuous underwater video. The videos are written on an external hard drive, and I am on Windows 7. The crash occurred several hours after the start of recordings (15-20 h). A program I use breaks images into files of 3 hours. Thank you.

Every few weeks on Windows 8.1 x 64, I get a BSOD in ndis.sys with SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED.  My file version is 6.3.9600.17031, most recently amended on 22/02/2014.  I have the minidump and driver file compressed on my drive.  Is there anyone from Microsoft that can help me solve this?

We need the logfile itself (called DMP file) because they contain the only record of the sequence of events that led to the accident, what drivers have been loaded, and what has been loaded.
We prefer at least 2 DMP files to track trends and to confirm the cause.

  • Help! I always get BSOD ndis.sys thanks! D:

Hello, I want to know why is ndis.sys is still problematic.  I also did a different post, but apparently not solving my BSOD problem.  I've updated everything, I have no viruses (I free Malwarebytes, Spybot Search and Destroy for free, Microsoft Security Essentials, Super anti-Spyware free, and other useful tools such as adwcleaner, JKR, TDSSkiller and Hitman pro just in case and I put these tools in my USB) I don't think I need to manually update my Realtek network driver because I chose the option of windows check the update through the internet and it says that windows already has the correct driver for windows and I don't know if I have to manually install the driver myself.  I went on my site of manufacture (gateway) that uses drivers for my computer and I downloaded the Realtek but do not know if I need to install the driver because I need help, and here is a picture of my netbook card, just in case you need to know:

Oh and I'm using a custom theme for Windows XP that I had at Deviantart.  Suffice to say.  So, can anyone help me in this situation of BSOD?  I have also Ubuntu 14.04 as my second OS in the same machine and I don't think it's causing this problem because I had this kind of problem before I even put Ubuntu on my machine.  And I also downloaded BlueScreenView to see if I can fix it myself, but I'm having a little trouble trying to understand what he's trying to tell me.  And anyway, that's what BSV is when I put it to display under Windows XP BSOD (I select the minidump BSOD in which occur today):

Restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow
    the following steps:

If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware

The attached file of the DMP is to bug checking SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (3B) .

This indicates that an exception happened during execution of a routine that passes from non-preferred to the privileged code code.

This error has been linked to the excessive use of expanded memory and resulting from user mode graphics drivers enjambment and passing data incorrect of the kernel code.

    1. make sure you have the latest video card drivers. If you are already on the latest graphics card drivers, uninstall and install a version or a few versions behind the last to make sure this isn't a last number one driver. If you have already experienced with the driver of the card later and earlier versions, please try the driver beta for your card.

2 in your list of drivers loaded, dtsoftbus01.sys figure who is the driver for Daemon Tools. Daemon Tools is a very popular cause of BSOD in 7/8 base systems. Please uninstall Daemon Tools. Alternative imaging programs are: MagicISO, Power ISO, etc.

3 I see Tune Up Utilities is installed. What do you use? If you use it to clean the registry, STOP. Never clean the registry as it can and will cause corruption of the OS because the automated cleaning software is very careless.

    Hello

This means that the CAUSE of blue screen of D1 is a hardware problem, as opposed to
in software. However, it is not always reliable as some software to 100%
    questions can trigger the problem.

    Things you can do:

    1. contact Toshiba Support or a real computer store (service internal
and not a leek and display a Best Buy or other stores). In particular have
memory tested and replaced if necessary.

2 solve the problem as stated in the above troubleshooting guides. It would probably be
correct the software question more if this is the cause.

    3. save the data and re-installed Windows - this will not help if the problem is the
memory suspected cases or other materials.

    I hope this helps.

    ------------------

By default, the fault of the accident is labelled as ndis.sys which is NOT the real cause.

The driver Interface specification NDIS (Network) is an application programming interface (API) for network (NIC) interface cards. The NDIS form the logical link control sublayer (LLC), which is the top layer of the OSI (Layer 2) data link layer. Therefore, the NDIS acting as interface between the sublayer Media Access Control (MAC), which is the bottom layer of the data link layer, and the network layer (Layer 3).

The NDIS is a library of functions often referred to as a "wrapper" that hides the underlying complexity of the NIC hardware and serves as a standard interface for pilots of level 3 network protocol and at the hardware level MAC drivers. Another common LLC is the Data-Link Interface ODI (Open).

  • System_Service_Exception (KS.sys) what?

I owned a laptop for the better part of 2 or 3 years, it was brand new when I bought it. He had Windows 7 and it worked perfectly. However since my father forced me to put Windows 8 on it, it didn't work right. The most recent problem, that I had is that whenever I turn it on it loads to the top and I connect, once connected to Skype and other programs that load upward when I connect starts to load and then I get the blue screen of death. Says that Windows has encountered an error and it is will reset my computer for me before it resets he said I watch with error on internet System_Service_Exception (ks.sys) later (assuming that I can barely get my laptop turned all the way on that is scheduled for impossible, I'm on my laptop sister now because she just happened to be conveniently around this time.). He did it for me no stop during the last 4 hours. I tried everything I can think of. Nothing I did worked.  Not that I did a lot because I know anything about the actual functioning of the computers. I couldn't even tell you what was the first 2 things I tried. I finally understand how to get my computer in safe mode all by myself, because alone how I found on my sisters laptop computer makes no sense or was not working, the problem does not persist in safe mode but nothing else works either so I have no idea what to do with my laptop, now that it is in safe mode. The latest changes to my laptop are that I bought and installed Minecraft about 2 months ago and I recently bought at least 4 new sims games and downloaded a week or two ago. As for what type of laptop, it is... It's HP and Compaq Presario CQ57 I know nothing about it except that because it is printed on the front parts of the laptop and are easy to find. I would ask just my father for the help but is not an option, I'm willing to put up with the consequences of... anyone want to just hear my dad complain about my cell phone is broken and I certainly don't want him question why I have Norton Anti virus and have Avast is no longer! instead. It's a can of worms best avoided. so any help at all would be greatly appreciated... in simple terms that I understand... cause everytime I see someone who has a problem like this, it has a ton of information that means nothing to me... and this: BSOD, I have no idea what that means or what it has to do with my problem but I saw him there... Yes. Sorry for the long hike post, I am really frustrated and can not very well at the moment the words. Also regarding the version I put other/unknown because I know it's windows 8 and it is updated at least once or twice, but I don't know if it's 8.1 or 8.1 rt or that all of this is same.

    Thanks for the information.

Let's go ahead and do the following, then the next time the system hangs, a new crash dump must generate:

    1. start > type systemroot which should show the Windows folder, click it. Once inside this folder, make sure there is a Minidump folder created. If not, CTRL-SHIFT-N to create a new folder and name it Minidump.

2 Windows key + Pause key. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > performance > settings > advanced > make sure there is a check mark for "manage automatically the size of pagefile for all readers."

3 Windows key + Pause key. This should appear in the system. Click Advanced on the left system settings > advanced > startup and Recovery > settings > system > ensure there is a check mark next to "write an event to the system log.

Make sure Small Memory Dump is selected and ensure that the path is % systemroot%\Minidump.

    4. ensure that viewers is ENABLED:

Start > Search > type services.msc > on the name tab, search for Windows Error Reporting Service > if the service status is not started, then right-click and select start. Also to ensure that, under Startup Type set to automatic rather than manual. You can do this by right click, select properties and under general selection on 'Automatic' startup type and then click on apply.

If you can not get into normal mode to do this, please do so via Safe Mode.

    Kind regards

    OS: Windows 8.1

Intel HD Graphics 4600 with the version of the driver 10.18.10.3277

I try updating the driver, but the problem doesn't seem to be resolved. I also try to restore the pilot but after cancellation, I have been unable to adapt to my screen resolution and brightness (I'm not sure he always get BSOD DNon).

What should I do to fix this?

I hope that it was able to solve this problem with the resolution of the screen and able to adjust brightness.

    Thank you.

Can be resolved by updating the driver manually by using the Device Manager.
